Discussing holiday plans a week before Thanksgiving means you aren't planning on spending them together. Kody, "I never said...no,no,no, I completely reversed that." Well that means you said it Kody. I feel like Kody should be calling his kids to find out what his kids are doing for the holidays.

One thing that's interesting is that Robyn hasn't called out that besides the boys not being welcomed until they apologize, that Kody forgot Gabe's birthday. Where is Gabe's apology? Why isn't Robyn crying over the way that Kody mistreated his sons? There seems to be a planned and systematic attack on Janelle.

There is a lot of weight to this episode. We can all see that Janelle sees the writing on the wall. Robyn and Kody want her out. The 'unplanned' conversation about whether Janelle was still committed was clearly planned by Kody and Robyn. I still believe that Robyn and Kody think they will be able to act their way to swaying popular opinion that Kody is the wronged person in the family.

While Christine settles into her new life in Utah, the remaining wives and Kody have another tense conversation at Robyn's; Janelle feels Kody is making her choose between him and her kids, and they reach a breaking point. December 11, 2022

It does seem that Kody believes phones only work one direction--child to parent. I get it. I have a mother like that. Like Kody, she is likely a narcissist or has BPD. I'm not sure why Kody believes that Janelle should be in the middle of his conversation with his children, especially when he gets angry that Janelle isn't capturing his latest edict accurately. What really seems to be happening is the family has just broken into two families. The Janelle/Christine family has 12 well-adjusted kids who love to spend time together (mostly--Gwen/Paedon are the outlier), regardless of who the birth mother is. The moms have a deep friendship and have bonded over the trauma of 25+ years with Kody/Meri and 12+ years with the home wrecker and dog kicker Robyn. Then you have the family of Robyn and Kody. The kids all seem to have challenges, from anxiety, to autism to poorly socialized hellion behavior. Peeks into the Kody/Robyn home suggest a home filled with precious moments and platitudes. Barnacle Bob and her child, Leon, seem to be floating around outside of everyone else. Leon and Audrey seem to have a good relationship with Gwen, but I question their relationships with anyone else. Heck, we all remember Leon and Audrey moving to Parowan and failing to inform his highness Kootie. After the tell all I think I need to be done with Sister Wives. If they want to have specials on the kids, or even a few updates on Christine and Janelle post Kody, I will watch. But I have reached the point where I no longer want any money to go into the Kootie coffers.

I wonder if Meri is planning to move back to SLC to be closer to Leon. I don't believe Leon wants their mother in Denver, but SLC is only 5 hours away.

Yes and yes. If you are in the right frame of mind, knowing that you will be confined to a smaller space and you are good with lots of down time for reading, conversation, watching spectacular scenery or browsing the internet, it is an amazing way to travel. I have always upgraded to have a roomette, so that I have privacy, and I have never done it alone. But I am thinking about doing a cross country trip alone in a few years. Disclosure should be that I prefer trains to cars or flying. I used to live on the Acela corridor between DC and Boston, and I also like the train from Portland to Vancouver BC. I just find it more relaxing. If you are considering it, I recommend doing a smaller trip first, then trying the longer trips. There is something to wonderful about train trips.

I figured that Kody was quarantined to that row because nobody wanted to sit near him because Robyn and Kody are unvaccinated and, well, Kody kooties.

Robyn Brown: She wanted the family, but got stuck with the man.
Ms.Lulu replied to Rhondinella's topic in Sister Wives
And ideally, said nubile young woman would start as a spiritual wife, until she convinces Kody to marry her. Once they are married, she'll dump his ass and insist that he sells Kody Pass and any other assets with his name on it so she can get her half. -
Agreed. If Rish lied about when he heard I think he'd lie about cheating. Dude showed the world he is a liar.

Paedon has said that Kody isn't vaccinated. I'm guessing that due to patriarchy that means none of Robyn or her kids are vaccinated. Christine has talked about being vaccinated and Janelle has mentioned members of her family being vaccinated. Janelle's called out Garrison and Hunter specifically.

Next week I hope Janelle walks off and keeps walking all the way to NC or Utah.

Oh geez, Kody as King Tut and Robyn as a senior citizen Cleopatra were scary. And was that a sasquatch by the RV in the background?

I don't really believe Kody sobbed because of what he lost with Christine. It was probably anger spit at not being the patriarch.

Yep, she wasn't even sick enough to be admitted. And all those tests. I hope that Kody and Robyn pay them. And then Briana trying to justify the visit to the hospital that robyn could get worse. Or crying that Kody is depressed. She needs some acting lessons. Just not from her mother.

It would be freaking awesome if Janelle ends the marriage next episode and the season was a twofer special. I would be satisfied. And I would never watch again.

This music is ridiculous. I can't tell if the producers are poking fun at Kody and Robyn or if they really think it is dramatic. I mean, Robyn thinks she is wasting away while waiting to see the ER doctor.

This is the Meri segment so that she can draw a paycheck. I wonder if it is in her contract that even though she is no longer relevant that she must have at least 1 talking head.

If Janelle hadn't left Kody, this should be enough to do it. He disappointed his son. He discounted his son. He deprioritized his son. I hope he is happy spending the rest of his life with Robyn, her dysfunctional brood, and the barnacle Meri. Or when Janelle did? We all heard Kody say that if Janelle caught Covid he would be the one to take care of her. She did and he didn't!

This is heartbreaking. Kody calls on Gabe's 20th birthday to get information about Covid because he and Robyn have it. Kody doesn't remember it is Gabe's birthday. And that is the last conversation Gabe has with his father.

Okay, here we go, Robyn is going to try to gain sympathies by saying she nearly died and was hospitalized for Covid. Except that she didn't and she wasn't. This next segment is really going to bother me. So many people died from Covid and there was a shortage of beds. Why would Robyn go to the hospital? I had a friend with 103 temperature and asthma who is Robyn's age and she was told not to go to the hospital until her temperature hit 104 or she couldn't breathe. If Robyn can talk and film herself she is not sick enough to be admitted into the hospital. It was clearly a play to get sympathy from viewers and Kody. argh.

Janelle isn't letting Kody blame the poor relationship with Christine on Christine. She says we are all responsible. What I don't understand is they are called sister wives. If my sister gets divorced I still love and support her.

So we all saw Robyn kick a dog and now dogs being around are a hot button for Kody. Is it because he is afraid that cameras will catch Robyn kicking another dog?

Single woman decisions is so such a nasty thing to say.

Are you a strong enough woman to help me heal (from Christine leaving) is code for stop talking with and supporting Christine and start acting like and supporting Robyn.
