Just wondering about an incident where she claims Depp broke a bottle and used it to penetrate her vagina. A broken bottle can do a LOT of damage to the delicate lining of a vagina. Did she go to a hospital? What about shards of glass? Did she report this to the police? He had to leave the domicile at some time.

Sorry, but I know someone who lied and/or embellished the facts of DV. For instance, when a bloody nose turns into a broken nose. Not saying abuse didn't happened. I'm skeptical about the DEGREE of said abuse. Not that ANY abuse is condoned, so please don't misunderstand. Just trying to explain what I mean by overly dramatizing or embellishing. Questioning all the facts doesn't make me misogynistic.

Speaking for myself, how is it Rob's fault if the show embarrasses itself? His acting might be bad (can't argue a personal opinion), but by the same token, it's not as if he's been given Academy Award dialogue.

Well, there are also witnesses, stories, etc. to the contrary. No one is saying Johnny is perfect. All we're saying is that Amber has a tendency to exaggerate and over embellish her account of the events. In the same way that a disgruntled ex can call CPS to exaggerate (or lie) about alleged child abuse, so too can any woman do the same regarding DV abuse.

I doubt her brother is "fake" and I couldn't care less one way or another. I was merely responding to Keith's post. BTW, I also record all shows. I don't know what "treacly" means.

I don't mind her friendliness towards people. That's just part of her personality. My guess is that HGTV is trying to show more of personal life in the same way as they have with the Property Brothers, Joanna & Chip Gaines, Mina & Karen (from Good Bones), etc. etc. It gives the viewer some insight into her personality. I think the show did a good job of giving us an equal balance of both.

First, let me say that up until today, Leah was WAY too loud. Not that she was whispering today, but for her, it was an improvement (as it relates to this show). Leah is Leah, and she's never going to change...love her, or leave her. That said, I can understand why she doesn't want to do a Wendy-like "hot topics". Most celebrities don't like 'reporting' on other celebrities, and Leah already has enough backlash dealing with Scientology.

Am I the only one who actually enjoyed the show? I will miss my Friday night guilty pleasure.

I happened to catch a portion of a report today from one of the entertainment shows. I believe it was Access Daily, but can't be positive. Regardless, they were talking about the trial and how Amber's testimony regarding her feelings for Johnny ("it was magical") was almost verbatim to that in a movie starring Gwenyth Paltrow. The hosts were accusing Amber of acting out a particular scene where Gwenyth gave a very similar description. They put Amber's words and Gwenyth's words side-by-side, and I hate to say it, but there were very distinct similarities.

This show is getting more stupid and less funny with every episode. Did anyone see a shark?
