  1. I have given up on this season, it broke me earlier but I kept on watching due to force of habit. The thing is while I don't like Nicole, I really don't dislike Cody (Though the more of see of his entitled side, the more I dislike him), and I like Enzo fine enough (I wish he would have made the big moves he said he was going to make. I am still waiting for one to happen.). I just cannot watch anymore. Yes I will watch the last episode because I have to see either Cody or Nicole win, but I am still not thrilled about it. The thing is, last season I stuck to the bitter end and the final three was the same with how I feel about this final three. I did not like Jackson, I was neutral on Holly, and I really liked Nicole. I really do not have any reason as to why I am bailing on this season and I did not bail early on last season.
  2. Honestly I don't think Nicole was the one to change him. I remember during his BB season there were pictures posted of him prior to his stint on BB and he looks like he does now. I think the Victor we saw on his season was the exception and not the rule.
  3. I didn't see tonight's episode due to watching Supernatural, but I completely agree with you here. I noticed it before but I really noticed it during Wednesday's episode. That not looking into the camera when he is in the DR is annoying. It is just so strange. This line was hilarious. Also, I wanted to add this last night but I just did not. I am so sick of them having the formation of the "Root" in every introduction to an episode. I have watched that damn clip enough times that I could probably recite what they say word for word.
  4. As the days go by. I am not sure if that is the case for Paul/Nicole's season and to a lesser extent Tyler/Kaycee's season. The alliances in Paul and Nicole's season seemed to be fluid. Especially near end game where it was more multiple pairs facing off (Paul/Victor vs. Nicole/Corey vs. Natalie/James/Michelle) against each other. In Kaycee's season there were two big alliances that were facing off, but only one seemed to understand how to play the game.
  5. When I was in college years ago I had a speech class as well. The professors chief feedback was and I quote, "Far too much swearing in your speeches. This is a classroom not a bar." That always gets a chuckle out of me.
  6. Paul is that you?
  7. Yes, I would say Seven Nation Army would be a bit more demoralizing. Because Day O is at least a little more up beat, where as Seven Nation Army you have the all consuming bass guitar (Or did they play it marching band style? I do not remember because that episode aired so long ago now.).
  8. Enzo winning HOH...maybe he is Keyser Söze, yo.
  9. I just wanted to add that my dislike of Michelle didn't come from the joke. I got her joke and I did not find it offensive especially when it was confirmed that he did indeed play the piano. I just found her over all attitude to be sort of crappy. But as you said, we will see. I might end up loving her. I was just going off first impressions. Also, @North of Eden, I forgot to quote you but I second what you said about Victoria. My god is she beautiful.
  10. You are not wrong and I am an idiot for not checking before I post. But I tend to have one stupid post a day on this site. Okay nothing to see in my previous post...move along now.
  11. I was thinking about something tonight, is Cody the only one left that can beat Nicole? I am not sure why I am feeling this way but my gut is telling me it is true. I don't think she can beat Cody. I think it would be tough for her to beat Enzo as well but it might be doable. I do think she can beat both Memphis and Christmas, that is if there is not an anti-winner bias. When she was talking to Christmas, I thought to myself, "This chick might win the show twice. She's going to be the Sandra/Tony of Big Brother."
  12. Memphis is around my age or a little younger, I highly doubt they would cast him to be on The Challenge. Pretty much CT and Aneesa are the only two who are regularly cast who are in my age range. Basically what I am saying is, he is probably too old to be cast on The Challenge.
  13. Exactly. As I said in the Live Feeds Threads, I think Nicole is one of the worst dressed women I have ever seen. It looked like she was wearing a little girl's nightgown during the veto ceremony. The thing is, she is pretty and she did look very good in the dress when she made the nominations. I find Nicole to be very lame (I was going to say corny but that is not right) as far as her personality goes. That would be my most apt description of her.
  14. Same here, I missed him saying, "The last team will be eliminated", so I was just a little shocked that the Catfish guys were eliminated. I was thinking the exact same thing. It seemed like teams were still getting their intro packages twenty minutes into the show. That was just odd. I feel the same way about the song, it always brings a smile to my face. I am glad I am not the only one who feels that way. Yes she does look like Gabby. I was sitting there trying to think who she looked like and I was like, "Oh yeah that cute chick from Survivor." The only thing better than goats would be Llamas (Cass from Survivor could translate for them). To me the Llama is the ultimate TAR animal. I liked the football players as well. They just came across as nice, likable guys. So my list thus far is (I'm just doing this for myself so that I can look back at the end of the season to see if my feelings change)... Teams I like: Gary and DeAngelo Kellie and LaVonne, more because of Kellie than LaVonne, LaVonne was not featured enough for me to form any opinion of her. Hung and Chee, I always have a soft spot of the married parents teams and older teams if they are not assholes and thus far they are not assholes. Plus Hung reminds me of my aunt who is four feet ten and only weighs around eighty pounds. Jerry and Frank, As I said I always like to see the older racers do well. This team is my pick to win the show (I am spoiler free, so I have no idea if they did win or not. I try to remain spoiler free for TAR. The Challenge, Big Brother, and Survivor not so much.). Teams I don't like: Will and James, I honestly cannot put a finger on why I don't like them. They just seem like they have the potential to be villains. One of them did make a snide remark about something but I don't remember what was said but that was my initial reason for not liking them. Michelle and Victoria, Michelle proved tonight that beauty is only skin deep. Man did she come across like an asshole. I have nothing against Victoria so this is just based on how Michelle acted. Aparna and Eswar, I was not crazy about them saying how smart they are. Yes that is enough to get someone on my initial shit list. The rest of the teams I do not have a strong opinion one way or the other about them.
  15. I missed Thursday's episode because Supernatural was on and I am far more invested in the outcome of that show. The thing is, there has been really nothing on all weekend so I could have easily watched Thursday's show. However, I kept on finding myself saying, "What's the point?", so I never bothered to watch Thursday's episode. I was strongly debating on if I wanted to be bothered watching this episode. I did end up watching and it just was not enjoyable. I do not want anyone of these five to win. I mean I guess Enzo if I had to choose but yeah, I am not interested in watching the coronation of Cody. At least last season there was a slight chance Cliff, Nicole, or even Tommy might beat Jackson (a slim one). But this season it just seems like it is a push towards a Cody victory.
  16. I despise the way she says the word comfortable. I have never heard anyone pronounce it that way. Those Secret commercials with Camila Mendes and now Serena Williams in them. The song for the commercial is just terrible. I looked it up and the song is sung by Jessie Reyez (I have never heard of her). When I listen to her sing I think to myself, "Is there anybody that could possibly think this chick's voice sounds good?" Pretty much what happens whenever I hear Yoko Ono sing. Another song I hate is the song CBS is using to hype their shows coming back. I think the woman who sings it says, "At the end of the day, we won't break." My goodness is she a terrible singer, she is not even singing she's just whining. Once again very Yoko Ono like.
  17. The commercial is annoying. I hate the song and to me it does not really sell the show well. But I am glad to see the show back.
  18. Is it cruel to say she would have to pay me to look at her OnlyFans pictures and even then it would be a very hard pass?
  19. That's what I'm saying yo.
  20. I've said it before, as a guy I know fuck all about women's fashion. But what I do know is Nicole is one of the worst dressed women I have ever seen. Why does she dress so poorly? Is it by choice? Or do the producers pick this stuff out for her? A pink dress with kittens on it? What in the holy fuck?
  21. I said it at the start of the season, there was not one woman in the cast that I found unattractive from a pure looks perspective (Yes even Nicole A., I recall someone scoffing at me when I said last year that I thought she was cute.). Now when you factor in personality, that is a whole different animal.
  22. Maybe he was talking about his brother Paulie...
  23. Going off topic once again, but this post reminded me about an episode of the Wire when one of the young drug runner kids went to the country. He ended up calling up one of his friends talking about this weird chirping (I think that is what it was, it has been years since I watched the episode) noise. His friend said it was a cricket and the kid had no idea what a cricket was because of where he lived. I never really thought of that, having lived in the suburbs my whole life. But it has to be strange for people who grew in the city to then go to the country and hear all of these noises they have never heard. I know when I went to NYC as a kid I had a hard time falling asleep due to the constant city noise. Not from the aspect of never having heard such noises, but I had never been in a place where it was so loud and constant. Oddly enough, that is the only city where I have ever had that problem. I've been to Toronto, Montreal, Boston, L.A., San Antonio just to name a few cities I have been to and none of them bothered me but NYC. As much as I hate to admit it, because I do think she's an awful person, I do find Christmas attractive (Pretty much the same way I feel about Bayleigh, I think she's pretty, but I do not like her as a person.). I do think she (Christmas) has a pretty face. I am not a fan of her tattoos but that is a me thing, I tend to not like when a woman is covered in tats. I don't mind a couple here and there, but I am not a fan of full sleeves.
  24. Same here. I read the live feeds thread on TWoP off and on from season four. I would dip in and out mostly to see who was nominated. However, I really started paying attention during season eight. I will be skipping Thursday night's show because Supernatural is far more interesting than this crap.
  25. With the amount of spelling errors and typos I make or a regular basis. You sadly would not make much money off it.😄
