I spent the entire TC thinking, "Where the hell did he get that toothpick." I agree, he was thinking long term here because he knew everything everyone had (both Nick and Carl's advantages) in his alliance advantage wise. Therefore, he could go for the throat during this vote. I would have thought they would have went after Dan instead of John. Mainly because I thought it was known but everyone that Dan had at least one Idol. They had reason to believe that Dan thought Angelina was going to be the David vote so maybe he would not play the Idol. Or maybe I am just overthinking things.

As pfk505 said check out Dailymotion that is where I have watched the three newer seasons of Australian Survivor. The only thing that sucks is that the final episode or the reunion show is usually not posted for some reason. So if you are okay with having to look up who won, then I would say watch it on Dailymotion. To once again echo pfk, I would also say check out the 2017 season. Though you really could not go wrong with any of the last three seasons. Season one has a winner who I was totally shocked to see win the show. In fact I do not think I was ever more shocked over the outcome of any season of Survivor. Back on topic I am glad that Jabeni Tribe is no longer. Mainly because every time Jeff would mention that tribe name I would think he was calling them the Jack Benny tribe. I think this was a topic of conversation in another thread here but hearing Elizabeth say she planned on winning had me shaking my head. I mean I have to wonder if she honestly thought she could win the game. I mean from the moment I saw her I had a feeling she was going to be an early boot and I am honestly shocked that she made it as far as she did.

I tried to watch the NZ version and I was bored to tears. I watched about half the first season and the first four episodes of the second season. Though I will admit that I did check out the outcome of season two and upon seeing the winner I was like, "Really? That person was such a non-factor in the episodes I watched. Maybe I should go back and check out the rest of the season."

Exactly. I mean take Joe, I know he was on a season but for the life of me I cannot remember which one it was (was it last season?). I vaguely remember him and I remember not liking him but yeah I am at a loss as to why I did not like him or what season he was actually on.

The whole jacket thing was beyond ridiculous. I cannot believe she tried to use her "power" to try to bully Nick and Lyrisa into giving up their coats. That was beyond being an asshole. Still, I did enjoy the insanity of it all and Natalie was one of my favorites just because she was such an asshole.

It is funny, I have not thought of Christopher for like a month. When they are in the game or when the show is active I think about these people non-stop (I have problems) but once the season is over I hardly ever think about them.

Which Nolan twin is going to end up hooking up with Kyle? Because you know that will end up happening.

In regards to the Johnny/Devin fight, I think Johnny was wrong in bringing up Devin's dad. Especially since, at that time, he had passed very recently. However, I get where Johnny is coming from. When someone tries to back me in a corner, I often say that one thing I know is going to hurt them. I am not proud of doing that but I have done it in the past and then I often regret it immediately. It gives you a momentary feeling of victory but at the end of the day you know what you said is shitty and should not have been said. That is clearly what happened with Johnny in this episode.

As I said in the most recent episode thread, from an entertainment standpoint she amuses me to no end. She is so oblivious or does not care about other people and I love that. However, if I were on her tribe I would probably want to kill her, well not kill her because then I would end up in prison...you get the point.

Natalie needs to stay in the game for as long as possible, I just find her lack of self awareness so funny. Granted if I was on the same tribe as her, I would boot her ass as soon as possible. I hate the fact that the tribe switch happened so quickly. Yes the theme was terrible but what is the point of doing these stupid themes if you ending up killing them after three weeks? Also I never got original tribe loyalty that some players have. I mean I could see it in seasons where there is no tribe mix-up. However, if you click with someone from another tribe more than with people from your original tribe why not work with them.

I have to say even though the seasons are far to long and there are way too many people on the show, I really have enjoyed the past three seasons of Australian Survivor. I cannot really say that about the American version, though this current season has not been that bad. I started the second season of New Zealand Survivor and much like the first season of their show I have found the current season to be boring. I guess the Kiwi's are just not as interesting to me as us Yanks and the Aussies. I doubt it will ever happen now on the American version due to the fire challenge bullcrap that they don at the final four now. The only way it could happen is if they allow a tribe to get down to four players before the merge and I am not sure they would allow that again.

Right! I feel so dirty cheering on Johnny but now I am. Granted I always liked Tony (even if he is scummy in his personal life), Marie, and Cara Maria (though the last couple of seasons have made me dislike her more and more). That other alliance just sucks, I cannot stand Shane (I can't believe I was happy when he came back a couple of seasons ago) and I loathe Ashley. I was never a fan of Sylvia going back to her season on the Real World and it was so long ago I can't remember why that is the case but yeah I have permanent dislike for her as well. Sucks that Nelson and Corey are caught up in this nonsense because I like the both of them but to quote the late great Macho Man Randy Savage, "It is what it is."

You hit the nail on the head right there. In the final Tribal Council that whole situation seemed to consume him and that seemed to be the only thing that he could think about. I also felt that Sharn did not handle her reaction to that situation in the best of ways. She seemed far too flustered when talking about it, I found that odd that a lawyer could get so shook over something like that. I did not think Matt would be a bitter jury member. I mean he seemed happy whenever Sharn would dodge a bullet late in the game, so I really do not get why he became so bitter. Not that I am complaining though because I wanted Shane to win the most out of the final three. I just like her and have liked her for the entire season (She does remind me of my own mother so maybe that is why). I do think Sharn played the overall better game, heck I would even say Brian played a better game as well but it was cool to see Shane pull out the win. Thank you for posting the vote breakdown as the site that I was watching the episodes on did not put up the Reunion Show. I knew Shane won because I saw it on Wikipedia but I could not for the life of me find any vote breakdowns. I laughed reading this because I assume you are talking about Dead Man Walking Steve and not the Steve that was on the Contenders tribe. If so, the reason I find it so funny is every time Brian would speak or do anything Dead Man Walking Steve would look at Brian with such disdain from the jury.

Now that Shonee is gone I am good with any of the three winning. I do think that it is Sharn's game to lose but I honestly believe that all three have played a good enough game to win. I said it before but I do love the fact that Shane ran parts of the game and her plans were the plans that were implemented. You never get to see that on the American version or at least not recently (in the earlier American seasons there were older women who did very well, but none were in their 60's that I recall), this is mainly because the older players (especially the older women) are among the first to go. I really do not consider Brian to be a villain. Is he a scrub? Of course I mean the guy is called King Grub due to his personal hygiene or lack there of. But he does not matchup well with villains from the American show. I think Benji and Zach (k?) were more in the vain of the villains you would see on the American version. Brian is just a guy that is a little sneaky and has poor hygiene. I was happy when he won F4 Immunity, mainly because I was interested in seeing how the women would vote.

I have read that people are often attracted to people who look similar to them. Maybe that is the case for them? Fixed that for you...

I will echo everyone else, I want to see Sharn win but I would be cool with a Shane win as well. Honestly even though he is a scrub a Brian win would not be bad either because he has done the work to get to the end. I just think that the jury is going to be so anti-Brian that he will not beat anyone left in the game. @WearyTraveler: I noticed all the scrubs things he did in the last episode. The nose wipe thing really grossed me out. I mean what the hell was that all about? I could see if he was done eating but the whole damn leaf still had, at the very least, half the rice left. I have been/still am an anyone but Shonee for the win. If they are trying to frame her potential win as something great...well that is just a messed up narrative. Mainly because while yes she's been an underdog, she is not really a likable underdog. She seems very vapid to me, though I will say she has pulled out some strategic thoughts that I did not think she was capable of.

As much as I hate to admit this, I was completely confused as to how Fanella was voted out until they showed us the next time on Survivor clips. The reason was I thought Brain and Monica were supposed to vote for Sharn and Fanella and Shonee were supposed to vote for Shane not the other way around.

Taking this off topic... It depends on what you would consider successful because the following have all had at the very least decent careers in wrestling and they were all on Tough Enough. Ryback- He was a mainstay on the main roster for years. Matt Morgan- He found his success in TNA/Impact Wrestling Kenny King- Found success in both TNA/Impact Wrestling and ROH. He was also a contestant on the Bachelorette. Josh Mathews- Never made it big as a wrestler but is head play-by-play guy for TNA/Impact Wrestling Sonya Deville, Velveteen Dream, and Mandy Rose are all currently with the company

I applied for both seasons 4 and 5 and at that time I was a young guy. If I applied now I would be the first out the door as the token old guy. Reminds me of something someone posted on TWOP years ago. During the first season of Survivor Greg got others on the Pagong tribe to vote for Just Peachy and I think the first round of voting ended up being a three-way tie with Peachy getting two votes (Might have been three I read it so long ago I cannot remember). The fucking Brick! Oh how I hate The Brick!...being an American I had never even heard of the place. However, after watching most of the BBCan seasons (I did not see all of seasons four and saw the first episode of season six) I can honestly say I am sick of BBCan constantly pimping out The Brick! I know it is there number one sponsor and all but it is just as annoying as hearing...Grover? Grover Johnson! over and over again. BBCan has had its good seasons and its bad seasons. The first two seasons were pretty good, the third was decent, the fourth (from what I saw of it) sucked, and the fifth was really good. I hate reading spoilers for scripted shows and TAR (Though I did read the spoilers for the upcoming TAR season). But I love reading spoilers for Big Brother, The Challenge and Survivor. Sadly the Survivor spoilers have really dried up in recent seasons and now I have to watch it unspoiled which I think is part of the reason why I am losing interest in the show, well that and the dumbass themes. That would be epic casting right there. Also, I said it this year and I am going to say it again...they need Gary Busey on there ASAP. Tom Hardy should not be allowed to do an American accent. His American accent is absolutely terrible. Hell Dick Van Dyke's English accent in Mary Poppins is better than Tom Hardy's American accent. You are talking about the Autons. If you think they were creepy during new Who, you should see them in their debut episode Spearhead from Space (Which was also the great Jon Pertwee's debut as the 3rd Doctor). The Autons from 1970 were creepy because they were so low budget looking which added to the creepy factor. You think this is bad try watching Australian Survivor. The game is fifty days long and I think it is going to end up being fifty episodes long. They do stuff like non-eliminations and the new one was they made a guy the dead man walking which means that he was still in the game but could not vote for two Tribal Councils. Yeah so the had a non-elimination episode just to make him the dead man walking. I mean don't get me wrong I like the show but it is just too long. Yeah he should have really put more work in with Sam. She did not want to be made a fool of and in her mind Tyler did just that. Haleigh looked amazing tonight, she's a triple threat. She's cute, pretty, and sexy. Okay no more shallow comments from me...well except for my comment below on the lovely Miss Panabaker. This times a thousand. I do not care how much either wants to spin it they were both probably crushed to hear him say that he was basically using them. I am not sure why he would say that but he did. Not going to lie I've got a tiny crush on here. Love Killer Frost.
