  1. Hi. I'm best known for writing the movie School of Rock and for appearing on the fourteenth and eighteenth seasons of TAR with my father, Mel (and finished sixth in the former season and a measly tenth in the latter). He is the third former racer to come on Survivor (as Natalie & Nadiya from TAR21 and TAR24 were the first two). It'll be interesting to see how he deals with this show. And on another note, I wonder if Mel is still with us? He was fairly up there in years during their TAR seasons.
  2. Hi. I'm a "Redneck Lawyer" from Kentucky who'll probably be as overly praised as Donathan. He thinks he'll have the Southern charm of J.T. from Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains, and Game Changers. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to remember that J.T.'s charm really only worked in the former season, but was clearly gone by the latter two.
  3. Hi. I'm a fan of Sandra and was totally on her side about eating the goat in Game Changers, so many of you are already going to hate me. Not I, though. She seems to already be self-aware about her weaknesses (the physical game) and plans to use the social game to make up for them. Let's see if she can.
  4. Hi. I'm a "social media manager." Whatever that is. On the one hand, it's good that he idolizes Jeremy from San Juan Del Sur. On the other hand, posting all of the "likes" that he has is his real claim to fame? I really don't know what to think about him.
  5. Hi. I'm the first SWAT officer ever to be cast on Survivor and am a big fan of Malcolm from Philippines. Sounds like another person who might put the physical game first, but being in a job that requires him to talk to people frequently, he might have the social game down, too. We'll see about him.
  6. Hi. I'm the first Alison to be on the show, and I describe myself as being each of the three words that made up the title of season thirty-five. I'm also one of the few doctors to ever be cast. Her skills could be put to use if someone on her tribe gets injured, a la Margaret from Guatemala. And it could bode well for her that she wants to play like Andrea.
  7. Hi. I'm yet another Jessica who was cast for the show, and probably with as little chance as every other one who's played. I kind of want to root for her, since I used to live in Lakeland, where she's from. But her youth might hinder her too much and get her voted out early, so I probably won't.
  8. Hi. I'm into cooking shows despite not cooking at all and probably think too much before doing things. Overthinking might prove her undoing in this game, though if she's like Aubry (of whom she's a fan), she might get a ways into the game. But predicting the nerdy girls' game longevity is a lot iffier than predicting the nerdy guys' game longevity.
  9. Hi. I'm the typical, hard-working Southern girl who has no time for lazy people. She sounds like a true fan, because she went all the way back to Africa to name Tom as one of her favorites, followed by Sandra from Pearl Islands. So at least it sounds like she actually applied. So I'm a tentative fan for that reason and hope she at least makes the jury.
  10. Hi. I'm the token Asian woman who will probably be as clueless as Simone from Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers. Seriously. Her first season was that very season, and she likens herself to one of the luckiest winners in the series. I smell recruit, which means I smell either an early exit or a useless goat.
  11. Hi. I'm a bartender who most relates to Malcolm from Philippines, Joe from Worlds Apart, and Jay from Millennials vs. Generation-X. This means he'll probably be putting more emphasis on the physical game than the social or strategic games and might only be carried far enough to be voted out when his physical game becomes a liability. But we'll see.
  12. Hi. I'm a Stanford graduate who wants to play like Parvati Shallow and Natalie Anderson. It's good that she wants to emulate two past female winners, but her description of herself as being "scrappy" worries me. No one who's ever described himself or herself that way has fared very well in the game.
  13. Hi. I'm a realtor who is a real fan of Parvati. I don't know. Realtors do need to have glowing personalities, so if she can maintain it, she could play a Parvati-type game. I just wonder if she could actually do it? . . .
  14. Hi. I'm a robotics scientist and play the clarinet as a hobby. Kind of dig him for his musical background, and I like that he's a Stephen fan, but I'm wondering how far he could go, because the "nerd" types do go a fair ways. But could he be the same?
  15. Hi. I'm a professional wrestler and a mixed martial artist known as things like the "Mayor of Slamtown" in the wrestling world. Wrestlers are typically tools and/or heels, so I expect this guy to be the same. Ugh. Add the fact that he's a fan of Cochran and Worlds Apart Mike, and I'm already sick and wary of him.
