The one thing I was glad was clarified is that someone made the offhand comment (in the viewing space with Hunter) that once an item is used in a round, it wouldn't be used again; I was wondering about that. That also means that they likely have to re-spin on occasion when an item comes up again and they edit that sequence out for TV.

I'm quite sure the Randomizer, which I'm convinced is the Tiny House where Hunter is forced to live in in Guy's backyard, is not as random as we are meant to believe.

If before seeing this season Tori was my therapist, it would be highly unlikely now after seeing all this she would continue to be my therapist.

from where it cut-off for a number of us (thanks TNT and their channel guide info!), whatever it was, was quite high up so hard to tell. from the video, it definitely has fins. could be a lower stage of a rocket.

not surprised at the final two. did anyone else observe their knife skills over the season in the occasional edit? (aside from what I believe was staged Peachez problems in the finale). they weren't new to this. I have the feeling these two are line cooks somewhere and this entire season was planned.

they are just trying to get the Maureen character as far from the "homemaker in space" of the original series as they can and went way too far. it's infuriating. happy this thing is being put out of our misery.

yeah nice try; not that many people have Hulu and far less even know about the documentary. Her staying on RHoSLC I think is a bigger problem; she should have cut ties after the arrest. Though I imagine some in her circle think she can get points for proclaiming innocence throughout the rest of the season. Here in Silicon Valley they had no problem putting together a jury for the Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos trial, with a large amount of national and local media out there about the whole collapse of the company.

I look at it from all points of view. The HS agents and NYPD, etc go into those situations wanting to go home to their families. So many of those raids turn ugly because it involves a criminal, and they sometimes don't want to go quietly. Apparently, law enforcement, forthwith known as "Heather's Po Po Squad," showing up armed like that isn't unusual in Utah, as it's a concealed carry state and they have regs for serving warrants.

I believe it has to do with if she had been tipped this was about to happen, whether or not she was capable of self harm. Or I've watched too many cop shows. 😁

I expected to dislike Joe Buck too (because it seems like more than half the planet does), but I think he's turned out to be one of the best and most natural in the role. I like Coates (she's a Minnesotan after all! 😉), but if you've ever listened to her SiriusXM shows, I'd be worried that she'd go on a bit (and then go on again); concluding the end of a thought for her is a process 😃. Though the format would likely force her to keep it succinct. Agree about Ben Mankiewicz, he deserves a try out if he's available. PS. I do wonder if the irate LeVar Burton fans actually watched the entire time he was on?

yeah, RIchards actually has a lot of industry experience. Beauty and the Geek, c'mon! ;) I'm not sure he has the radio background though that Alex had. Which served him well. Trebek had mentioned Ben Mankiewicz, who, if you've ever seen or heard him outside of his rather stiff Turner Classic Movies job, I thought would have been a great choice.

Did anyone watch this new Food Network uh, gameshow(?), with Kal Penn? I've only seen the episode with the "culinary witch." Yeah, that's right. Did we know they were a thing? I don't think they thought this concept all the way through. Besides being longer than I think it should be, that episode ended for me with a thud of "oh... that's it?" Should have been more chances at taking cash throughout IMO. I'm not sure this was originally an FN property to begin with based on the production. Anyone else see it?

That shot and the music was the best part of the ep. I'll put in a plug for an acquaintance of mine and mention the Twin Cities (MN) group, The Rose Ensemble, for their album, "Nā Mele Hawai'i: A Rediscovery of Hawaiian Vocal Music" from which some of the choral pieces were used for the show. 🙂

More surprising for me was seeing Stephen Caffrey (one of the more memorable villains from the later seasons of Columbo I thought) showing up as a jeweler in this last season.

I think you're not alone and why she likely consciously limited her exposure on the show this time around. I agree, it bothered me whenever some of the designers were relying so heavily on outside manufacturing (i.e. blow-up outdoor furniture). but the SO reminded me this isn't Tim Allen's garage-bound Assembly Required "maker" show. ;)

every time we see Sutton's store I'm reminded of the early 1990's movie The New Age, with Judy Davis and Peter Weller. Except that Sutton can afford it.

I think this "crew" coming on board may have been in fact a backup crew for BDSY in case all went to hell with COVID and the main cast. Of course, as my wife points out, wouldn't they have needed a backup Captain Glenn as well? ;)
