  1. The boy cut off the cat's tail with garden shears as an experiment to see if it could cut through bone. He didn't seem remorseful. Hurting animals as a child is an early sign of serial killers, so I'm thinking it runs in the family. I have no idea who the murderer is. Seems like it would be someone less obvious than the dad, mom or older son. I do think the one sister is having an affair with her campaign manager. Her husband probably knows. He didn't seem very happy. Another poster above mentioned Lucas Buck from the 1995 American Gothic show. I watched that one too!
  2. LOL Yea, I guess that could be interpreted as the show trying to sell them as a potential couple. I just saw it as proof that Jesse has no interest in Emily. I finally had to google the character's name, it's so unforgettable! It'd be great if the show was teasing us, but actually never follows through on them becoming a couple. Plot twist! :P
  3. Hmm, I don't really see it as them trying to sell it. The woman obviously likes Jesse, and that comes through loud and clear, but Jesse is oblivious to her feelings and doesn't seem to reciprocate them at all. I think that comes through very clearly. Maybe the show is leading up to them getting together, but if it happens, it would come out of left field for me, because Jesse hasn't shown any interest. What I thought was interesting was Cassidy and Tulip's kiss. Was Cassidy just playing around when he asked for the kiss? He seemed a bit smitten afterwards. Not sure if that is going to turn into anything.
  4. Yes he was! I'm a huge Luke Evans fan, so I've seen everything he's been in. I liked the movie, but I thought Dom was miscast. They just put a bunch of bronzer on him to make him look Turkish, and his accent was a bit strange. His acting was fine, I guess it was just his look that was odd. I do like him as Howard Stark in the Marvel stuff. He seems pretty versatile. Here's my favorite Dom and Luke interview. :)
  5. Wasn't sure where to put this, but I'm finally catching up on the Paris con happenings, and seeing all the photos of the actors having fun together makes me a bit sad, because they all seem to get along so well. Why couldn't the writers have brought some of that fun to the show? We got a little bit of it with Hook and Arthur in the underworld, and Hook and Zelena and their snark in the Jeckyll/Hide world, but I feel like there was so much missed opportunity. On a shallow note, I will miss Robin and Arthur's attractive faces! I don't think I would enjoy this show as much as I do if it weren't for the actors and all the behind the scenes stuff.
  6. Dom is a hoot. He was in the movie Tamara Drewe with Luke Evans, and I just love watching their press junket interviews. They're so funny together. Joe Gilgun, who plays Cassidy, was in Season 1 of Ripper Street. He had some pretty cool hand tattoos. It took me a few minutes to recognize Lucy Griffiths as Maid Marian in BBC's Robin Hood. I only watched a few episodes. I haven't seen her in anything else. It's strange how many Brits they have playing Americans on this show!
  7. I thought the LWM always had magic. We saw it with the dragon in season one, with Walsh turning into a monkey, and with Emma's sparks. The dragon said: "Just because the boy destroyed Storybrooke's magic doesn't mean there isn't any in this world. " "There's magic everywhere if you're willing to see it. " "If you want to find magic, remember... what he taught you. You have to believe." It doesn't really explain why Ingrid couldn't do magic, but I don't think it's a total retcon.
  8. Can someone tell me if the second episode is any better than the first? The first was so boring and disjointed, and none of the characters' actions made any sense. Theo wasn't asking enough questions, and when he sees his wife, he hardly shows any emotion. Kate prevents herself from having a painless death just to slit her own throat? And she could have taken out Megan, but decides not to. This episode had no mystery. We know what is going on the town, but I feel like they could have done a better job at showing what it was like from Theo's perspective which would have made it more interesting.
  9. That's why I said it's MY philosophy, after having something of mine shown to millions of people without my permission. I've lived and learned it first hand. But I posted it online, so it was fair game. And honestly, it didn't change the types of things, or the way, I posted. People are free to mock or criticize something that is posted online. Doesn't mean it's the nice thing to do, but if you post something in a public space, you can't complain when people actually see it and then comment on it. Heck, this board is full of people who post hate and criticism about other people's work/writing. And yes, I know it's not the same thing, but I see more similarities in it than differences. People are always going to have differences of opinion on this subject matter, and I understand where those with other view points are coming from, but I just have my own opinion. :)
  10. I made some paper dolls that Graham showed to an actor on his show. That was over 10 years ago, and it was slightly embarrassing, but now I think it's pretty awesome! They both seemed impressed with them and weren't too depricating. However, I never expected the actor to see them, so I can see how some fans would not be happy. My philosophy is, if you'd be too embarrassed to show your fan art or fanfic to the person it's about, it's best not to post it online.
  11. Emma and Hook's "I love you" came in a far second to the Clexa kiss for best shipper moment, which doesn't surprise me. Isn't that the lesbian couple that just had one of them killed off?
  12. I actually feel like tumblr is better than Twitter, since tumblr is mostly about posting photos, while Twitter is the place for crazies to spew random nonsense at anyone they want. Not that tumblr doesn't have its issue, I just find it much less aggravating than Twitter.
  13. I've been waiting since last year for that Beauty and the Beast trailer, because of Luke Evans, and found it super disappointing. It barely showed anything! Definitely a teaser in the truest sense of the word. I almost felt like I was just watching a commercial for OUAT, except with better CGI. I'm just super curious to see how all the actors will look, and how they'll handle the servants. I'm assuming they'll all need to be done with CGI, which is why they didn't have much they could show in the trailer.
  14. I was watching in a delay, and had to fast forward through Henry's speech due to second hand embarrassment. I knew what he was trying to do, so I figured I wasn't missing anything. I feel like the finale had potential to be good, because we got to see some pairings we normally don't, and were in some new settings. And yet, it just seemed disjointed and didn't have the gravitas that a finale should. Other than the Captain Swan and Captain Charming bits, there's not much I would rewatch.
  15. I think it'd be fun if some of the other characters were also split into their darker halves, or lighter halves in Gold's case, but I don't think the show will go there. I think Regina will eventually be rejoined, and it kind of reminds me of the dagger. The darkness has to be tethered to a person that can control it, or be controlled. I feel like separating Regina from the evil queen is a bit of a cop out, because she now might not have any guilt or responsibility for anything that she did. So I'm pretty certain Regina will be back to her angsty self before too long. Hopefully sooner than later.
  16. Can someone tell me what Hook said when he stabbed Hyde in the back?
  17. I think this episode would have been great, if I hadn't of been so spoiled. Some of the super emotional, surprising scenes fell a bit flat for me because I knew what was going to happen. I still enjoyed the episode though. I still don't like how they killed Robin, and seeing little Roland at the funeral was sad. That's probably the last we'll see of that cutie. I also didn't like the casting for Zeus. I was expecting someone older, and more impressive looking. Everything from his hair, to his slim build, to his costume felt wrong to me. At least he didn't have Zeus' cheesy costume from The Immortals movie. Although if he looked like Luke Evans, I wouldn't complain. I was hoping they would explain that Hades somehow faked the TRL kiss with Zelena, but since it was apparently real, even though he was deceiving Zelena, and because she was able to kill him so easily, I couldn't care less if Hook and Emma ever get a TRL. That might change next season. :P
  18. I was just thinking that maybe Emma tells him that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him, and make beautiful, magical pirate babies. Not right now, but in the future. :) Hook told Emma that she was his happy ending, so I can see Hook getting very excited about her saying something as profound to him.
  19. Can you have a proposal without having an engagement? Probably not but I'm just trying to grasp at straws here! I thought for sure the lift, and the one quote about how Emma might be the one to propose, meant that it was actually happening.
  20. What if Rumple never really put Robin's heart back in his chest? Even if his body looks dead, could he still technically be alive? I'm guessing Robin is truly dead, and I won't miss him too much, but it just sucks for parts of the fandom.
  21. I noticed that too and was annoyed by it. But maybe it won't be so bad. If Hook is just learning about Robin's death, I guess I can allow them one moment of sadness. But just one. They better not feel guilty after, but knowing this show...
  22. I'm trying not to get my hopes up for the next episode, but what I don't understand about the theory being discussed here is, how does Emma having to give up Hook prove true love? Watching the promo, I was hoping Hook's "You should have let me go" is in response to Emma not leaving Hook down in the tunnels. Like something happens where Emma could have left him behind, while saving herself, but she decides to stay with him, even if it dooms them both. Yea I know, I'm being too optimistic.
  23. Yea, they announced the Chicago one a while ago. I keep checking to see if they've added someone I want to see, but sadly they haven't. I mean, I wouldn't mind seeing some of those actors, but I don't want to attend just for them.
  24. I don't think we can compare people who are in the lost river of souls to people who have moved on. The way I see it, "God", or whoever, decides who gets to move on to "heaven". I got the impression that most people in the river were put there by Hades, or by other people in the underworld. It's not that those people don't deserve to move on, they just had the misfortune of being thrown into the river. It's pretty ridiculous to think that anyone can just push another person into the water, and they're pretty much damned for all of eternity. I have no doubt though that all those people will be freed by the nevengers.
  25. It would have been so much better if Cora could have found out that Hook and Emma are now in love. I consider Cora the first Captain Swan shipper. "You chose her." :)
