  1. The demon did kill the people in the ambulance. Not sure why it didn't kill more people when it was in Casey. It didn't kill the guy on the train, it just dislocated his jaw and clawed at his chest. If I remember correctly, the jaw dislocation was done without touching his face. I don't know what Marcus put in the bath, but it did look like salt. Maybe it was some sacred, blessed salt? I think we just learned that the retreat in the first episode was for "deviant" priests. That would explain why so many of them looked so creepy in their rooms.
  2. Ugh, these demons suck! I hate that they're killing all the good guys. I'm still worried for Marcus and Tomas. Marcus looked awesome kicking ass tonight. And Tomas finally made his choice between the church and the girl. Hopefully he gets his parish back at some point. That scene with Angela and Kat in the bed was super squicky and hard to watch. The demon said humans are ugly, but it sure seems attracted to them. I think Angela is trying to fight the demon, at least judging by the preview for next week. Only one episode left! I don't want this show to be over. :(
  3. T is for Time Travel, as in Emma and Hook's time traveling adventure, which are my two favorite episodes.
  4. L is for the lovely lip locks that CS have had.
  5. B is for the Bromance between Charming and Hook, even if some people don't see it. :)
  6. Wow, it has been a long time! Z is for the angled zipper on Hook's new vest. New topic: Things on the show that we are thankful for.
  7. I just saw a gif set on tumblr that reminded me that Emma called her parents "mommy and daddy" in the AU, and it annoyed me when I was watching the episode, and it still annoys me. Emma is a grown woman with a teenage son. I don't know any adults that call both their parents mommy and daddy to their faces. Occasionally I will hear people, mostly from south, say daddy, but to hear Emma say it was just weird and creepy. Perhaps that was the point though.
  8. Maybe Hook will be miserable and alone and still filled with vengeance in the AU, but Emma will still be able to convince him to help her with whatever she needs help with. And then he'll say something to make her realize how much the real Hook has changed, and that both of their lives are better since meeting and falling in love. And it'll make her feel good about herself, which is always nice.
  9. http://deadline.com/2016/11/the-alienist-daniel-bruhl-luke-evans-cast-tnt-drama-series-1201860525/ Luke is one of my favorite actors, so I'm super pumped! I also love this type of genre, and time period, so I have high hopes for it. TNT wouldn't be my first choice for a network, but they do alright.
  10. You asked why the priests included the family, and I was just trying to give an answer. The whole family was in the room for all of two minutes, while no prayers were being said. The priests promptly ushered the family out as soon as the demon starting throwing people around, and they were forced to sit outside in the hallway. Then the family went home, and only Angela was allowed to be there while they were actually trying to exorcize the demon. I can't argue what would happen in real life since I know nothing about exorcisms except what I've seen in movies, and for me, the whole show is based in fiction since I don't believe in demons. I'm just trying to explain the characters based on the story the show is telling. If Angela hadn't been allowed into the room, and Casey had died, what would have happened to the demon? Would it have had to possess another person to stay on earth?
  11. I'm not sure why the demon would bring up an abortion if it never happened, because it would just ruin its credibility. Watching Angela's reaction, I think it was probably true. I think the demon was totally boasting about ruining other men for Angela, including Henry who apparently was very verile. The demon was probably over exaggerating, and since Angela didn't even remember being possessed, I have my doubts to the demon's claims. I don't understand why Angela would have to grit her teeth with Henry though, in order for his statements to be true. The idea is not that she wasn't enjoying it, but that it wasn't as enjoyable as how the demon made her feel. Ick, why I am talking about this? LOL Tomas brought the family because he thought Casey was going to die. Angela was the only one involved, after much protesting from Marcus. But I think he allowed it because they were out of options. I also think since Angela had been possessed by the same demon, these were special circumstances. But looking back, it was probably a bad idea!
  12. See, I'm thinking it's the opposite. I think he might be the one person in power who hasn't been compromised and will be able to help the good guys, but the show is trying to trick us. I think he was just a random guy, and that scene was just thrown in there to confirm what they had already hinted at; that Marcus is gay. I think the demon was saying Angela aborted her first child, because she couldn't stand the thought that it would be messed up like her.
  13. I feel like the church wouldn't think it was a huge deal that Tomas had an affair, considering they've let child molesters continue practising. But I suppose he could lose his parish and be forced to go to that creepy retreat place. Also, it would be pretty embarrassing. Here's a nice photo from Ben Daniels' twitter.
  14. Wow, that end was a shocker! I really thought they had vanquished the demon, but it must be super strong. I feel really bad for Angela. The demon screwed up her childhood, and now she'll have to live with killing her mother, assuming she survies the demon. I thought the end was going to turn out to be a dream sequence, and I suppose it could still be, but I doubt it is. Marcus and Tomas saying the prayers together while being all passionate and intense was bad ass! And kinda hot, I'm not gonna lie. :) I liked the scene of them in the bar, too. I'm guessing we haven't seen the last of them working together. Does anyone know what Marcus said in Latin? Something about Tomas being a brother? Poor Father Bennet! I just knew that Cardinal, or whatever he was, was a baddie. I wonder if he's possessed too?
  15. Today is the 27th anniversary of The Little Mermaid! Time sure flies. I was at Kohl's today at bought this cute Ariel mug, which I did before I knew it was the anniversary. Strange coincidence! http://mobile.kohls.com/product/prd-2600974/disneys-the-little-mermaid-ariel-coffee-mug-by-jumping-beans.jsp
  16. I probably used the wrong term, but a blue filter won't turn everything blue, it will just give everything a cooler, moody hue. Here's an article that shows some examples, and says most horror movies are blue. http://www.cracked.com/article_18664_5-annoying-trends-that-make-every-movie-look-same.html My thought was that the blue set pieces helped to match the tint placed on the actual video.
  17. I thought it was just a decision by the set designers to bring a darkness and moodiness to the scenes. The whole show has a cool lense tint to it, so I think the blue sets help match that.
  18. It does have more of the beast's backstory. And they made Belle an inventor, so I'm not sure if they changed anything else about her. Gaston is more fleshed out, and I think has a military background, as opposed to being a hunter. There are also some new songs, as well as some new lyrics in the Gaston song, that never made the animated film cut, but they decided to use for this one. I was worried about how the beast would look, but I think they did a good job. I'm mostly excited for Gaston because I'm a huge Luke Evans fan. I just hope the scenes with Gaston and Belle aren't too creepy because of how young Emma Watson looks.
  19. The ratings for the show are very bad, and get worse every week. I'm pretty sure it will get canceled. :( There are suppose to 10 episodes, but I can't find any information about the last two, so hopefully they air them. http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/exorcist-season-one-ratings/
  20. Great acting in this episode! Geena Davis was awesome in the mental breakdown scene and the Marcus actor is so intense. Once again, Marcus is a pillar of strength, even when he's tormented. He has the strength of his convictions, and Tomas needs to start taking notes from him! Is he really waiting for a sign from God to tell him what to do? Uh, that's not how life works for most people. I loved seeing Bennet kick some ass! I thought for sure he was a goner, but then he busted out some moves and did an exorcism on the fly! Why the heck isn't he is helping to exorcise Casey?
  21. I watching the Snowing sneak peek, but not the other. I really liked the Snowing one. It was fun and quirky and reminded me of season one of Lost.
