Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!
pezgirl7 replied to regularlyleaded's topic in Once Upon A Time
Colin's singing voice sounds like his speaking voice, but Jen's sounds completely different. It's a pleasant, Disney princess-sounding voice, but it might take some getting used to. At least their voices sound good together. -
Except he wrote the book before he met the producer, so it was probably before he had done any drugs. And he wasn't a drinker, either. It's weird that I'm more saddened by a robot getting his arm ripped off, than I am by any of the other characters' misfortunes.

I really enjoyed this episode. It felt like a mini-movie, and reminded me of Mulholland Drive. So many weird little things that didn't really seem to have anything to do with the story. Like the Santa convention, the shoes left in Gloria's hotel room, the useless box, the Whatchamacallit wrapper left in the suitcase. The robot story made me sad, but I'm not sure what the point of it was. You can try to help, but in the end you just have to observe and let people self-destruct on their own?

Spoiler Discussion: The apple was poisoned?!

I also thought the lilies of the valley were a strange choice for flowers, until I looked it up, and Grace Kelly had those as well. Kate Middleton also had them in her bouquet when she married Prince William. I guess it makes sense, since they're all regular girls who became princesses. I know Emma was technically born a princess, but she didn't grow up knowing that. Aww, I liked her dress. I mean, it's Snow, so I wouldn't expect much more. I thought Hook was wearing a regular black tux, with a black dress shirt and a black bowtie. Are there photos of him in leather? -

Here's her dress! It's not what I imagined. I don't really like the headdress part of the veil. Someone on tumblr posted a side by side with Grace Kelly's dress, and it looks pretty identical. http://mindyourhelm.tumblr.com/post/159794115872/grace-kellyemma-swan Charming and Snow look nice. I'm guessing they don't have bridesmaids or groomsmen, because I would think Henry would be a groomsmen, in which case he wouldn't be sitting with Regina. I still can't figure out where the ceremony is. Maybe it's just some random rooftop? Still bummed it's not on the Jolly Roger. -
Since they deepened Dan's voice, and probably auto-tuned him, I just can't see them having Dan perform live. From interviews I have seen, I don't think he would be comfortable with that. I'm not even sure what his voice sounds like live!

I really did not like how Snow convinced Charming to abandon Emma. He really needs to stop listening to her! Also, I'm sorry, but Ginny's crying face really took me out of the moment and just made me laugh. Josh Dallas was amazing though. The way he looked at little Emma was beautiful. *pics from here

I seriously can't stop listening to Evermore! That song has really grown on me. I predict that it will be nominated for an Oscar, that Josh Groban will sing it at the ceremony, and that it will win Best Original Song! :)

OUAT vs. Other Fairy Tales: Compare & Contrast
pezgirl7 replied to Camera One's topic in Once Upon A Time
She didn't flat-out tell him she wasn't interested. She said "Sorry, not this evening". Then when Gaston asked if she was busy, she said "No..." and just walked away. But yes, later, she flat-out said she was never going to marry him. I think him trampling her cabbages was the last straw. LOL I do think it's funny how she said people could never change that much, when that's pretty much what happened to the Beast. -
I just found this last episode so depressing. I really don't understand why they had to kill Jackson. It didn't seem to serve any purpose to the story, except to maybe leave Reid even more alone in the world. I don't even understand why he couldn't take a few days off to visit his daughter and grandchild. And then he had to put their photo in his desk drawer at the end to not even be reminded of them. And then the only main character left, Mimi, decides to leave her theater and marry some rich, old guy. Which also sounds depressing and against her independent nature. I going to pretend this last season never happened, because other for a few shining moments, these were not the characters I fell in love with. Probably the only thing I liked from this episode was seeing some of the past characters in the flashbacks. And wow, a shave and some hair coloring really made Adam look like a young Jackson again!

Since it had Michael's handwriting on it, I just assumed that Michael made it and gave it to the delivery guy a while ago. Which means Michael has been planning whatever it is he's doing for quite some time. I'm just wondering why Michael needed a credit card if he wasn't really ordering pizza, and only just contacting someone to deliver the origami flower.

I don't understand how something that basically has the F word is rated 4+ and was approved by Disney! Hmmm. Definitely sounds like something Hook would say though, if the show were on cable!

I'm pretty sure he's wearing a bow tie, so not buttoning his shirt up all the way would look pretty strange. ;) I don't understand why he's dressed for a wedding, but Emma isn't. -
Thanks! I also completely missed the name reference. I thought at first that Michael was behind all that, but I didn't think it was possible because he's been locked up!

So was the letter that T-bag received suppose to have been from Michael? Even if it wasn't, why did it have to be so cryptic? Why couldn't it have just flat out said that Michael was alive and where he was? Also, I kinda missed it, but didn't the quote on the bottom of the letter have something to do with T-bag getting a new hand? That could mean the same person who sent the letter is responsible for T-bag getting out jail and getting a new hand. So there's some group that doesn't want people to find out that Michael is still alive, so they try to kill Lincoln and Sarah, but do a horrible job at it. Why aren't they trying to kill T-bag? None of this really makes sense at this point.

NOOOOOOO Frankie!!! :( That was hard to watch.

OUAT vs. Other Fairy Tales: Compare & Contrast

Well get ready to be surprised! I think I prefer the new movie to the animated version. I need to see it a few more times though before I can say definitively. -

I'm hoping she realizes pretty quickly that Hook wouldn't just leave. Here's a quote from Jen I saw on tumblr: In the promo it looks like she's going through Killian's chest, and looking at Liam's ring. It'll be interesting to see if that's just her saying Goodbye, or if either of those things will come into play later. -
Well I disagree with that last statement, but don't want to get into it. I didn't think that they implied that the boy was beaten by his dad. I just figured he was an uncaring father who showed no love towards his son and taught him that it was ok to be selfish and cruel towards those who they considered beneath them.

Fandom and Viewer Issues: "Fan" Is Short for "Fanatic"
pezgirl7 replied to Emma's topic in Once Upon A Time
I just checked Colin's twitter, and it was a group of 26. They named the group, so they must interact with each other quite a bit. I don't see anything strange about it, since fans buy their idols things all the time. It happened 50 years ago with the Beatles, and who knows, maybe Abraham Lincoln used to get fan gifts too! :) I've never sent anyone a gift, but I have participated in charity donations in place of a gift. To me that makes more sense for someone who has enough money to buy whatever they'd like. Although, I'm sure it's fun to receive a physical gift that's a surprise.
