About the script tease, I'm guessing it's the dreamcatcher that Hook is looking at in the promo photo while the others appear to be ready to leave Emma's. I love that Emma told Hook about the dreamcatcher, but sad that it happened off screen. At least we're getting hints of things that are helping to build character development.

Haven't seen the photo, but that sounds very disturbing and is a weird thing to post! It must mean that Hook decapitates Emma in the finale, becomes the new dark one, and sails off into the sunset alone with a bag of onion rings.

I need to know what is happening! Obviously we'll be getting a Captain Hook flashback. It seems odd that they would both be filming at the same time, but different scenes, so maybe dear old dad really is immortal or has been hanging out in the underworld.

I was wondering what the pro-Colin posts on tumblr were about. sheesh And isn't the character in the movie suppose to be 19? Not quite underage. If these people would spend half the time on worthy causes, think of what they could accomplish? Every time I see fandumb stuff, it makes me want to wear this shirt. I just watched the founder of that company give a talk, and he said they try to focus their energy into positive things instead of negative.

I just saw another post, on this board, from someone who also construed Hook's giddiness as perviness, and the only common denominator I've found between the other two similar comments I've seen is that they're all guys. Not surprising that men would see something different than women. Since the episode was written by two guys, I wonder if that means anything?

Yes! That was my point when I said "We get it, he's a pirate." It's not that I don't like his regular pirate outfit, because lord knows I do! I just thought the new outfit was made only to resemble his old one and then they tried to glam it up. The coat just doesn't fit him as nicely as his old one, nor does the vest. They both also look a bit cheap, which makes them seem more like a cartoony costume.

I didn't have a problem with it because of the ages of Henry and Violet. I don't think Hook was thinking anything sexual, he was just excited, like Charming was, of Henry having his first crush. I guess some of the facial gestures Hook was making could have come across as sexual, but honestly, those are just Colin's go-to facial expressions, and he was really turning on the camp in that scene.

Yes yes yes! I thought this before, but it was even more visible in last night's episode. We get it, he's a pirate. He just looks too campy now, and the extra eyeliner takes away from his natural charm. It's like when they were glomping those giant fake eyelashes on Jen. She looks so prettier now with a more natural look. I also wish Hook's Camelot outfit would compliment Emma's more.

Couldn't Camelot have been frozen in time for 28 years like the rest of the EF? So 5 years ago in Camelot could actually mean 2 years before the curse hit. Rumple would still be sparkly then. Also, I just remembered Rumple bringing up Milah. That was creepy.

The 5 years ago Camelot flashbacks were pretty boring, so I was mostly interested in the main cast. I loved how giddy Hook was when he learned about Henry's crush. The faces he was making were priceless. I also loved how he's totally over Emma seeing spirit guide Rumple. "Get on the horse." And the kiss at the end with the sun shining, and the field of roses, and the pan out... so perfect. sigh I loved the fake out with Snow and Charming. Too bad they still got screwed over. In reply to an earlier comment, I don't think Gwen and Lancelot ever had an affair. They shared one kiss, said it would never happen again, and then Lancelot left town.

Except Eddie said the symbols on Hook’s ring are a clue to his past, not just the ring. A lot of the theories I've seem seem very far fetched or very grand, like turning Hook into a king. One theory I saw that I did like was that the flowers on the largest ring looked like lotuses, which are associated with the underworld.

I know I shouldn't complain. CS, and their fans, have it better than most. :) I'm not holding my breath that Hook has any kind of connection to Excalibur or Camelot, or that his father is going to be Davy Jones or even have a role in 5B. It just seems too perfect and obvious. I do like seeing all the speculation, and the fans getting excited. It's not hurting anything. Most of us can handle any kind of disappointment that might come from our theories not panning out.

That's what annoys me the most about this particular plot possibility. With Emma's walls, cursed lips, stolen hearts and big bads causing angst, CS hasn't had that much time where they've been together as a true couple. 4B was pretty good for them, although it ended with them being separated for an entire year inside the storybook. I'm not saying I want it to be happy happy joy joy all the time, but I'd just like for them to not be apart so soon after 5B.

I thought of that, but I wouldn't call that working hard. It might have been a hard thing for her to do, but phrasing it the way she did was odd. If I have to break up with someone, I'm not going to say it was hard work. I'd say it was hard on me, or it was a hard thing to do. Anyway, maybe she was just covering her feelings in front of spirit guide Rumple.I hated when Hook held the cutlass close to Emma. Even if he had no intention to hurt her, and even though she's dark, it still was a very uncool thing to do.

I also don't understand what the point of the date was, unless she truly wanted to spend time with Hook. Or was she just trying to get info from him about something that had touched Rumble when he was alive? I don't understand why she told earworm Rumble that she "worked hard" to get the sword off Hook's ship. What was so hard about it?!
