I think Emma and Regina have chemistry too, just not in a romantic sense. Although that could just be because of my own personal preferences. They're both very headstrong, and I preferred their relationship better when they were both butting heads. Looks like we might get to see more of that now that Emma is the DO.

From the Fandom thread: I think it's interesting and funny that some of the things you like about SQ, and don't see in CS, are the same things that I actually like about CS. I find it ironic that Hook is now in love with the Dark One after spending three hundred years hating the Dark One. Not to mention the irony of Emma having had a child with Neal, the only other person besides Emma, who Hook was willing to give up vengeance for. Also, Hook wouldn't even be alive to fall in love with Emma if it hadn't been for Rumble killing Milah, the mother of Emma's first love and heartbreak. Hook and Emma never would have met if Hook hadn't been working with Cora, the mother of the woman who caused Emma to grow up alone. Turns out that there was more in Storybooke for Hook than just Rumple and revenge. I do think there are some similarities between Hook and Regina's stories, and Emma has been able to forgive both Regina and Hook. But I think Hook and Emma's back stories are even more intertwined than Emma and Regina's are. Although to be honest, every character on the show seems to be connected, some just more than others. And as far as what makes Hook different than Neal, Graham and Walsh? Well, I could write a thesis on that, so I will spare you. :)

Kingofhearts, I had the same thought yesterday after reading some comments by SQers on tumblr yesterday. They were disgusted at Hook about a certain spoiler, and one said that Hook and Emma have "always" had a disfunctional relationship, which made me assume that they thought the opposite of Emma and Regina's relationship. I don't hate Regina, and I try to be understanding of other people's viewpoints, but sometimes I just have to scratch my head and wonder how people can see a character or relationship so differently than I do. I have never been part of fandom before where the fans have such differing and divisive viewpoints.

I was just on youtube perusing the massive amount of Hook fanvids. I can't believe how many AU and crack ship ones the are. I came across a Hook/Aurora one with a priest AU. Wasn't sure where to put this, but I just saw, only for a split second before navigating to another page on the board, something funny in th Promoted Stories section at the bottom of the board. It was a photo of Charming stabbing Hook in the AU, and I think it had the word gay in it. I guess Hook did have a bit of a painful look of ecstacy on his face with Charming standing behind him. LOL But Colin's "in pain" face has always looked like something else. Has anyone else seen it?

I thought it was pretty clear that Regina used the dagger on Emma because of the way Emma started moving forward and then stopped and did a weird thing with her body like she was being held back. Why show Regina grabbing the dagger if we weren't meant to believe that she used it?

If they had genderbent Prince Eric, I would have been a bit bummed. The Little Mermaid was my favorite movie growing up. I had a crush on Eric and Ariel/Eric was probably my first OTP. So whatever the writers do, they're not going to please everyone, obviously. I can see them showing Mulan with a new female character, so the audience can see that she has moved on from her heartbreak with Aurora. I can't see them breaking up Aurora and Phillip, especially now since they have a baby.

That was my favorite part of the video. I was waiting during her pause, wondering what she was going to say, and then I loved her response. She was pretty accurate about most things. I wonder what people or tags on tumblr she was looking at. That would make a big difference on how you view the show. Did she just view things in the OUAT tag to do the video, or does she just follow a lot of people? I would never be able to give as much detail as she did on the shows that I don't watch that come across my dash.

I like seeing co-stars interact with each other, like when Jen and Colin do interviews together, or Colin shows up at soccer games with his co-stars. But I can't remember ever shipping real people romantically. I suppose some could think there was a fine line between the two, but I do find the romantic shipping, especially when the people already have a significant other, pretty strange. What do the shippers get out of it? Can't they just be happy with the friendships and the on-screen couples?

I agree that they don't look a like, but that it would have been nice if Hook had some connection with Camelot. Maybe they can take a page out of Tangled, and have him come across a wanted poster of himself, where his picture looks slightly off, and he remarks that 'They can never get the nose right'.

That street fair just looks fun! I'd go to that, especially with all those beautiful people walking around. It is odd though. I wonder if it's some kind of morale booster for the town's residents. Seems strange for it to be a welcome party for the Camelot people. I wonder how long Arthur is going to walk around in his armor? I love Hook's popped collar, but where is Emma? Everyone seems too normal for Emma being off somewhere as the dark one. ETA nevermind, just some more photos from filming, with the Welcome banner and all the Camelot people. They might look to be the same age, but Snow and Charming have been alive about 30 years longer then Emma. Although since Charming was in a coma for half his life, he is probably the closest to Emma's actual mental age. Add in Hook and Rumple, and the whole physical versus mental age thing on this show is pretty crazy and a becomes a bit irrelevant.

I love coming on here in the morning and seeing all the glorious new spoilers! As much as I want the CS scene to be real, I'm thinking it's either someone tempting Hook, or perhaps Emma is in some kind of dream land. It's like that trope when someone is in a coma, and they are imagining this great life, but their friends and family in the real world really need them to wake up. The sleeping person has to fight through and decide to go back to their crappier life. I think Buffy was in some kind of funk like that, where she was imagining her mom still alive, and Willow eventually snapped her out of it because they needed her to defeat the big bad.

Now they're on a fake horse: oncepromised - Haha them on the fake horse is so funny and Jen can’t stop laughing. Colin looked like he was enjoying it though What do they use fake horses for? Close-up shots when they're suppose to be riding at a fast pace?

I'm officially excited again! Hook on a horse is just awesome, and Emma riding with him is even more so. And her hair looks so pretty. Even if it is a dream sequence, which I don't think it is, at least we'll get to see it. I don't think Emma's white dress has anything to do with a wedding, since white seems to be her color of choice in the EF. But what I like about it so much is that it compliments Hook being in black. They've got the whole ying/yang thing going on.

It wasn't a total waste. Hook looks hot pointing his finger. At this point, I think I'm just here for Hook and Emma. Also, watching the scene again, the delivery of Jared's line was very clunky. I don't want to be mean, but I feel like the older he gets, the less natural he becomes. Maybe he's just over thinking things.

The SQers seem to love the scene because they think Regina looks so wrecked. She sure has a strange way of showing it. Even Robin looked more concerned and devastated. And let's just ignore the man whom Emma said she loves, who picked up the dagger and tried to summon Emma with sheer force of will. Ugh, I should be excited with a new clip, but it's making me a bit cranky.

Hook should have stabbed Regina the moment she called him Guyliner. Not a great time to be snarky, Regina. Oh, but I know she's just covering because she feels super guilty. *rolls eyes* On a plus note, Hook's hair was looking particularly fabulous. Since Emma's not in this world, does that mean she's in Camelot? ETA From the zap2it article: Playing a game of “Yes/No/Maybe,” Kitsis and Horowitz offered “maybe”s to: Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood, Ariel, Balefire, Ursula, Cora. So, fingers crossed. I would love to see any of those characters again, except for maybe Rapunzel. She was a bit blah. Would really like to see Baelfire, but I would think the actor is a bit too old to play the younger version that was still around with Rumple, and I doubt they'd show him after he left Neverland.

Oh sorry, I'm not sure. I've lost track too! The twitter didn't mention seeing Lana, so maybe it was a different day.
