  1. So, uh, you think that if the government wanted to know Supergirl's secret identity, they wouldn't have her blurt it out in front of the whole DEO - yes, transparency is good, but people don't need to know the name of every undercover CIA operative. They could just keep her name written down on a piece of paper somewhere for the president's eyes only (and head of the DEO, and maybe chairman of the joint chiefs of staff). I mean, I bet they already know her secret identity, they just need her to say it. And you think the President would've offered her and her family secret service protection if he wanted her to reveal her identity.
  2. Most have an attention span around there - I believe for children it is something like 2-5 minutes per year old they are. So, at *most* it is probably 30, 35 minutes. Maybe 40 on the upper end, but she is still a young child
  3. At least at the schools I have gone to, if your credits are over 10 years old, they no longer count towards a degree.
  4. Yeah, but you were 9, Sophie is 6 or 7 - her attention span is probably 15 minutes at most - there's a big difference between 9 and 6, maturity and attention span wise. I hope they go back to her acting like kids - the kids making slime and laughing when it made fart noises - that is what a 6 or 7 year old does! And Poppy was very brave to leave them out of her sight when they were playing with that slime.
  5. Oh, and I forget - that coffee shop lady, she is scamming the neurologist, right? Just so we are all on the same page. But, since this show is everything is perfect and nice, it's going to end up she needed it to sponsor an international orphanage that needed $2000 or else it would have to close its doors
  6. I reallllly doubt Kate's credits are worth anything anymore.
  7. I did driving lessons with an occupational therapist - it helped a lot, but in the end, they recommended I not take the test as my other disabilities impacted my performance too much - I had to look at the turn signal lever in order to hit it, I had issues telling how far away things were, stuff like that
  8. I can buy Sophie being more mature than the others (Also, the kids acted the most like kids in this episode than any episode before - especially with how they dressed Poppy!), but not "Watch something like Downton Abbey" mature - maybe something more like "Watch a cooking competition show and be able to focus the whole time"
  9. A driver rehab program would have an occupational therapist teaching him how to drive - another medical professional. Shaun would probably take it well - better than Lea freaking out on him, at least.
  10. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH This show. I want to strangle this show. So, "chemo" is just a single drug now? That is how they are treating it. All chemo is not the same. There are a bunch of different drugs that are chemotherapy agents. Immunotherapy does not have no severe side effects. Immunotherapy can KILL YOU. It is not a magic cancer bullet! On Shay, I am surprised Iggy didn't tell him how immature he was attacking his reputation (potentially damaging it irreparably) - or at LEAST make Shay apologize. Iggy should have told Shay "Sorry, but I can't see you anymore, you clearly do not trust me"
  11. The whole episode I was like "that guy has to be a Ritter, all of them have the same facial features!" Shaun took Glassman's license, but did not report him, so Glassman can still drive. Also, Lea should *not* be teaching Shaun how to drive - he should go to a driving school - or maybe see an occupational therapist at a driver rehab clinic Glassman should get a personal care assistant to drive him around - I mean, he's a doctor, he most likely has a good amount of money to hire someone beyond what insurance will cover.
  12. Yup. One of my possible ancestors who died in 1870, her tombstone might list her maiden name - she is listed as "patience johnson, wife of george clark" on the cenotaph - then she is buried elsewhere in the cemetery under a different name - patience berger
  13. I bet he was in affordable housing too. Let's go with the nicest option - it was rent controlled and Randall wanted to keep it in case the kids wanted to go to Drexel. My great-grandparents had a rent controlled apartment in NYC. My grandfather sold it after they died in the 80s. It was like $5 a month (They had had it since 1935 or so). Now it rents for something like $3000 a month. It was something like an 80 or 90 year term on the rent control. I had a few cousins who went to college in the city, they could've benefited from a very low price apartment :P
  14. he has time to add racecar driver, and when he becomes first dude, he can become an amazing interior decorator for state dinners
  15. Maybe he preferred to pay for a lease instead of a much cheaper storage unit because he wanted things kept exactly like William kept thing or some weird Pearson-y thing
  16. Well I mean a few Thanksgivings ago it was unseasonably warm and my mom's herb garden was fine. This Thanksgiving? Noooooooooooooope There are apparently two cracker barrels in NJ! One near the NJ-PA border, and one near Cherry Hill.
  17. I half want it to be Eve Tessmacher or whatever her name is.
  18. He implied he put his name on William's lease when William started being with him full time - that was like, by Thanksgiving, right?
  19. Yeah, if they didn't have the time they could've done a quick memory test - but I imagine that a surgeon like Glassman would want a full accounting of everything, given how much control he likes to have over things - he is a very independent man
  20. yuup even the NGOs who go to wartorn countries to help have to bribe people to get through
  21. He told them a short story about the Pearsons, they robotically did everything Toby asked, then when they woke up from their stupor they joined a "hey we got fleeced with a story by the Pearsons who came from Pittsburgh" facebook group
  22. I looked this up earlier in this topic, or in another topic on here, but in Philly, you have to be a resident for 12 months, and it has been a little over a year since he met William, I beleive
  23. I bet they are going to botch it amazingly. Probably not as bad as some shows, but they are gonna botch is baaad. Do you think they were gonna have the character do chemo, then the actor was like "no i am not gonna shave my hair" And how long until the radiation doesn't work, then they go "IMMUNOTHERAPY! CAR-T CELLS!" or something like that? Yeah, I mean couldn't they just bill it under the generic visit code (versus psychotherapy) instead of "Oh we're doing TMS" (which I imagine would be much more expensive)
  24. Maybe she was there because she is a celebrity doctor :P
  25. Probably a bit from column A, a bit from column B
