  1. The pre4view looks like it might be a light/somewhat humorous episode.
  2. I agree. It took me out of the scene.
  3. IMO the end had a feel somewhat reminiscent of NCIS when Vance broke up the team, but there we knew that Vance was "one of the good guys", while Barnes, not so much.
  4. I liked the episode. Drew was great as John Ross (also was glad that he wasn't the bad guy.) Although some viewers don't like "Jack", I'm glad to get some more backstory on her. That said, there are still some gaps. Were the patches that she had in that metal box the shoulder patches of the 9 (?) who died?
  5. Big reveals: Jadis can speak "normal English", has a helipad and solar panels.... Okay, so? I think that Negan was so stunned when he first heard about Carl being dead, that for a moment he abandoned the "braggart ass hole" persona and felt "real" feelings. He seemed legitimately stunned and hurt...... Fortunately(?), Rick was able to get that back! :)
  6. Not sure where this fits, but shouldn't the date stamp for the thread be "2018.03.06"?
  7. IMO, it's a shame that "re-smart" Walter didn't seem to recall how impressive he thought Paige was during the crisis of the week. He seemed to revert to his "unaware dick" mode. I also don't like the "love triangle" of Walt, Paige and Flo, sorry Florence!
  8. This episode felt "off" to me. I know I missed a bunch of episodes, but: Who is Hicks? When was this trial where Gibbs wound up getting Fornell fired from the FBI? I'm confused! That said, I also predicted the explosion at the end.
  9. I think that she is in "Designated Survivor"
  10. Not sure if this is the right place to put it, but on a recent episode of Family Guy Chris thought Peter was a zombie and tried to kill him. As Chris said words to the effect "I must destroy your brain" and swung at Peter with a screwdriver, Peter said "what is this like the Walking Dead where we have two seconds of violence and talk about it for an hour?" It seems like you have that right.
  11. Regarding the promo photos for "High Tide", is Bishop's appearance (hair color, face makeup, etc) different than usual? If so, I wonder if the differences are for the undercover op, or a change in the character's appearance in general. At the risk of seeming shallow, I think that I prefer this "new" look.
  12. I missed the opening credits. Was the comedian played by the same actor who played Oleg (?the chef) in "2 Broke Girls"?
  13. I also thought that the Bracelet had "Jackson Gibbs" on it.
  14. As Melissa has been pregnant for several (?) months I think that they needed to make Bernadette pregnant asap, so that they could quickly have her (Bernadette) be "showing" and avoid the need for the all too obvious/classic tricks used in this episode to conceal Melissa's baby bump. I'd also guess that was in part the reason for the 3 month time jump.
  15. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one whose stomach was in a knot expecting/fearing that Mcgee would get shot. (Especially given all the "daddy to be" anvils being slung around.) Now he and Gibbs looked to be in deep crap. I do hate cliffhangers.
  16. He didn't know that she was pregnant (neither did she!) All he saw was Delilah falling/passing out, and being unconscious "until the paramedics arrived". They both found out the she was pregnant when the Dr. told them, which was after the long wait with Gibbs.
  17. I'm glad that i was not the only one who said "who the ^&*% is this guy". ( the guy who answered the call from the kidnappers at the end of the ep).Is he the "big Bad"???
  18. RIP Mr Ferrer. Condolences to friends and family.
  19. I'm also annoyed at CBS, but two things occurred to me: 1) There is the argument about "when do you end a series". There have been too many series that died of old age and/or attrition, having lost and alienated many of their hard-core fans. So when is the right time to go? 2) At least CBS delivered the cancellation notice far enough in advance so that a final season could be planned and produced, leading up to what, IMO, was a damn fine sendoff. (As opposed to the crap ABC pulled regarding Castle.)
  20. Great episode, great ending to the series. The machine, and its work goes on. I liked it. Reese went out saving the earth.... Not a bad way to go. The rest of the team survived, not too shabby either. I liked having Root be more (to us) than just the disembodied voice. Two things regarding Shaw: I'm glad she shot the bastard that killed Root. Also, when "Root" told Shaw what she thought of her – the comment about the straight-line – I thought Sarah S did a great job of showing Shaw's true emotion with subtle facial reactions. Well done show, and thanks.
  21. Wow, I missed that speech completely until reading that post. The content and tone feels similar to some of Sarah Connor's journal entries in Terminator.
  22. That is what I wanted to say, plus there were still some great lines-especially Shaw to Root.
