BTW, a question, as I was away last week: Based on the "previously on FS:. it looked like Poe Shot Tom in the Leg, and Tom put a round into Pope's chest. Is Pope dead?

Did Stahma look, well, almost pink skinned in that "gray t-shirt"(?) she wore while held captive by Ms. Omec? Was it helped by the glistening coat of sweat? (or is it my TV). Would that be sweat porn? In the story line, is the "porcelain white" on Stahma's skin completely natural, or is it enhanced by makeup? (And no, I don't mean the actress's skin!! :) )

Reminds me of "The Lottery" (short story by Shirley Jackson), where the children participated in the stoning to death of some randomly selected towns person-the highlight of the annual town picnic. A related, though horrible, question: Did I miss something else? What exactly is the mechanism of Datak's execution-to -be-does the weight of those stones rip him apart, suffocate him or ????

I had read somewhere (?) that for this season, Irisa's eyes were being added by CGI (as opposed to last season(s) where she wore contacts). If that's true, then I'd guess that they are doing CGI for the baby as well. I'd like to hope that the showrunners would not subject a baby to those lenses. (Would it even be legal/medically proper?)

Did I miss (if I did, please explain!): The explanation for what happened to the baddies that jumped off the Solace?[ Beyond the "mini sub" theory] Who the bad guys were on that boat that met the big sub (and "the boss") in the last scene? {The guy with glasses looked familiar} How the sub that was clearly on the sonar screen disappeared without a trace? [ Countermeasures, sure, but against the Nathan James?] Thanks.

I'd say that he lost his sister due to the fact that the enemy soldier played upon his trust and naivety, getting Nolan to lower his weapon, giving the enemy an opportunity to shoot the sister.

I admittedly missed a few episodes last year, and parts of this season as well.......and I was thinking " damn, this show is a mess. It's like they just try to make up new crap each week...." After reading many of your comments, I guess, sadly that that is the case.

I missed part of the ep (damn phone) so I have a question: what were those slug-like things in the weapons (that Amanda confiscated from Datak ?). More to the point : what do they do to ruin all those weapons? Another question: Is Stahma's white face makeup less pronounced/thick this season? At times I thought that I saw the actress real flesh tone coming through.

Did Pilar (Linda Hamilton's character) borrow a line from Terminator: "come with me if you want to live"? Nice wink!

No way Gibbs is dead (wishful thinking???) That said, whatever the (non fatal, hopefully) physical damage is, my greater concern is about the mental damage to Gibbs' already damaged mental state. I mean, he was shot by a kid that he befriended, and one that he attempted to work his "Gibbs' magic way with kids" on. IIRC, prior to this, Gibbs was always able to "get through to kids. After this, what will he feel? The disillusionment?? The feeling of psychological mortality?

I agree, they should have taken their friends, but with the turmoil in the friends relationships, it would NOT have been a fun wedding. Maybe this is the start of pressing the "reset" button?While it gives the viewers something to wonder about leading into next season, I think that it could have been done in a better fashion. Thoughts: Leonard & Penny-don't jump into wedding on a whim. Shamy: sad for him, but he is still out of touch with reality. Howard & Bernadette & Stuart: It is a big house, but Stuart time to grow up. Raj & Emily: Unless her darkness is revealed ASAp to be a defense mechanism-he should dump her.

Scary thought, for real life. However in the movies, In 2001 , and in one of the sequels (?), they have a similar convo. HAL (the computer) asks, "will I dream" and the scientist says "I don't know" , as he shuts him (HAL) down. BTW loved the ep.

So it was Dornagen. Sad, but it could have been worse. Truthfully, when Tony, Bishop, and Abby broke into the bunker, i got a knot in my stomach thinking that it might be one of them... Comment/Question regarding Gibbs Vision/Hallucination as Dorney's casket was being rolled from the plane to the hearse: Nice touch, but does this bode poorly for Gibbs? Were the people in the vision :Pacci, Jenny, Dornegan, Kate, Mike Franks, and (?) Paula Cassidy. If not, please clarify.

Didn't he originally come from the computer division? And he did refer to his assignment since we last saw him, as ramping up his skills. And he so quickly, IMO, got reintegratred into the team-even getting a nickname from Gibbs. but: After hearing/reading about the coming "sad loss for the team", is it too obvious that it will be Dornegen (perhaps a red herring??) or maybe Jake... Sadly, if someone has to die, I'd rather it be one of them than anyone of the "regulars".

Agree! How about Root saying "he practically lives in the subway". Good episode. Hopefully Shaw was not brainwashed.

1) Stana just got married...Beckett wearing a baggy blue shirt....Will the "Stana is Pregnant" folks be in hog heaven? 2) Regarding the scene where she "talked the killer down"-I think that of all the people there, Alexis might be seen as the least threatening to the killer, and most likely to calm things down . 3) Regarding that scene; Did Alexis'/Molly's eye makeup look different than in the rest of the episode? To me, her eyes/makeup looked almost weepy/zombie-like (?) , to the extent that I was almost taken out of the scene.

Were these things ever "explained/answered" (again, within the overall dreck of the plot) : Why did Castle have to make that money drop? Why did it take 2 months to complete the "assignment"? Why leave Castle on a boat in mid ocean?

Weak episode. The ending felt rushed. As many have said, too many gaps, and little was revealed. Was this supposed to make us identify with Castle, as we still have no idea WTF happened that took 2 months.

When she was with Amy and Bernadette in her apt, they were congratulating her on passing up the acting, (in reply to her saying that she walked out on the audition) didn't she say (paraphrasing) "Yup, I did a horrible audition, then I walked out." If she gets the job, does it mean that a bad movie wants bad actresses; or that Penny is such a bad actress that she doesn't know when she was good? Either way, I agree with the hope that this is not another "separation at the end of a season" gimmick.

Was Abby's dress a bit more sophisticated/mature than recent ones? (of course, her "Gibbs" Cubed would have counteracted that...) When the "terrorist" pushed/shoved Bishop into the tent, I guessed that it really was Gibbs (no kidding!). My question: how did he get there? The infrared pictures showed heat from the cars engine and from Bishop, where was he? Or should I just realize that it is just another one of his magical powers? :)

IIRC "our" Tony's full name is "Anthony Dinozzo Jr." I know 4 guys were given the same name as their father. They were called, since childhood: "Junior"; "J. R." ; "Tommy"-Dad was Tom; and by the shared middle name, which was never used to address the father. I don't see it as a put down, but merely how he has always referred to his son.

I think that they (the writers) may do that because Castle calls her both "Beckett" and "Kate"..... Wait, what am I thinking? That logic probably gives the writers too much credit!! :)
