  1. And his babushka scarf. To me, it looked like he had shorts on and maybe some kind of brace on that leg. But with Jordan you just never know.
  2. I'm sorry, but I don't think Aneesa can finish the final even if Jordan carries her through the whole thing. As in, over his shoulder carries her. But I hope she proves us all wrong.
  3. Nany would literally kill him. Not pretend, not how dare you, literally murder him. Possibly with those ginormous teeth she has acquired.
  4. Man, this season has gone on so long I didn't even remember some of those names. Anneliese and Tommy? Who? Laurel was on this season? I completely forgot about Kailah, but that's my default state, so the reminder was awful. Poor Olivia. If I had any shame, I wouldn't tell you how many times I watched that nose hit in slo-mo. But it was probably about even with how many times I watched Claire get hit with that watermelon on TAR. I Was NOT expecting that shot of her with no makeup and two black eyes. Still better looking like that than 75% of the people on the planet.
  5. Okay, I hate to be dumb, but I'm missing something. In the original timeline, all the people died within a few days and it was believed to be a government cover-up. I got that. But are they saying they all originally died in the bomb blast and the government made up their deaths a few days later? No one saw them or missed them for a few days to a week after the reactor test? At first I thought they witnessed the reactor and then the government had them killed to cover it up. In their everyday lives. But then the bomb... I feel like I got confused somewhere in the middle.
  6. Someone noted last week (and maybe before) that they are in the middle of an emergency and they have time to just stand around chatting about their families. That happened again this week. Big forest fires and Bode and Freddy are just chatting about their girlfriends. And yeah, either one of them walking that far away from the work would be considered an escape. Not just Freddy for going, but Bode for going also and no one's going to listen to "I was trying to get him back." Other than that, I love Freddy. "I don't need any help for my eyes...oh....y'all are all blurry! I need help!" lol The old guy was kind of a jerk about the whole thing but he wasn't entirely wrong about them talking and not working fast enough to save his house. Of course, they shouldn't have been needing to save his house anyway, but....stop talking and work.
  7. I just read where Annie Wersching died. Annie Wersching Dies: Actress In ‘24’, ‘Bosch’ And ‘Timeless’ Was 45 (msn.com) Well that didn't work. I guess I don't know how to link it.
  8. I getcha. There is something about him. He seems to get excited and scatttered very easily in challenges. If he's like that all the time, that would be hard to take.
  9. I agree about the sob stories. I hate to be "that person" but...we all have problems. And I'm am sure the people who didn't get selected for the whow had problems also. It shouldn't be a major part of the show.
  10. I don't think Aneesa can win a final even with Jordan. Fessy can't win a final if there is food involved. So to me, the choice was between the Rookies and Banany. They are the ones to beat going into the final. I hope the rookies take it all.
  11. While the show is a bit more boring now, if being social media "aware" prevents some of the more gross things, like what happened to Tanya and something else I can't quite remember at the moment, I guess I can live with that. Or maybe I'm just old now. One of those. Funny that Bananas is mourning the days before social media, when he is riding that horse as hard as possible himself.
  12. Is this the episode that will air "whenever" after the football game on Sunday? I heard just a snip and wasn't sure if this was it or not.
  13. Part of the reason, not the whole reason because I do think the producers are shady, but part of the problem is that the rookies don't stick together. They let the vets get in their heads and turn them against each other. If they actually found a way to stick it out, they might have a chance. Because as much as the producers love a Bananas, seeing him swing in the wind draws it's own viewers also.
  14. I guess maybe there is some advantage to using real fire, so people are less scared of it, but my employer uses a light board with simulated flames and fire extinguisher. The board recognizes the spray from the extinguisher and if you don't spray correctly (at the base, sweeping side to side) the light board makes a bigger fire and you get an alarm screaming at you. It's gotten so bad that whenever anyone mentions their "last day" I assume they are a goner.
  15. The actor that plays Oscar was on something too. Stargate maybe? ETA: I had to look it up. He played a colonel for some episodes on Stargate SG-1.
  16. Last week, I thought it looked like the Harper character was hiding the beginning of a pregnancy. The way she was moving around in the bank and the way her jacket and shirt hung. I guess I was so focused on that, I didn't notice Lopez.
  17. I get that Jordan had a good strategy, but he's just so damn smug about the whole thing. It's very off-putting. If he's like that in real life, he'd be impossible to deal with. I was watching all the people careen around in that bus and thinking "this is why they make us wear seat belts. This is a seat belt PSA right here." In the previouslies, they showed them chasing the ducks from the 1st (?) challenge. That was sooooo loooong agooooo. This season has lasted for years. They had better make Fessy eat something nasty in the final or else this whole thing was a waste.
  18. I know it couldn't happen because Moriah wants to win and/or come back sometime, but in my mind's eye she and Fessy roll the cylinder up and after a few seconds she says "Remember all that shit you did? Bye boi!" Then lets go, jumps off the ramp and lets the cylinder roll over Fessy and kill him. Just me? Okay.
  19. YYes! Clayton Jennings. He gave me the heebie jeebies even before I knew about the charges, and honestly I'm kinda slow to catch on to things sometimes. I guess he did a fair job of burying things coupled along with alllll the other religious creeps popping up. And I have no doubt he's still creeping it up too. But I do hope his daughter is okay.
  20. I'm glad they gave Phil a happy ending. And I'm sure I'll stop crying someday... I hope his mother isn't a permanent fixture. I love Vicki Lawrence as much as the next person, but please, no more of Lurlene.
  21. I can't say I would have "never" helped the other team, but I dang sure would have let them get way farther down the road before I helped. Maybe 2 hours or so. But I understand they were out in the cold and time was burning, whereas I was sitting in my comfy chair eating popcorn. Possibly not the best choice given what we were watching. I severely dislike Fessy, so that helped. I could not get "devotion" for the life of me. The other words I got pretty quickly and thought about devotion, but couldn't make it work in my addled brain. I kept thinking I was a letter short of making devotion.
  22. No thanks. But again, isn't it sad HOW MANY of these there are? So many it's hard to pin down the one guy I knew about.
  23. Except that would never, ever happen. He would no more than get the words out of this mouth "dont' tell anyone" than they would be running around screaming about it. Like keeping an idol secret on Survivor. Never happens. Phil will always be the best.
