  1. Okay, this is petty and shallow and wrong in every way, but...were Nany's teeth always this big? Did she get some weird dental work? Did she just never smile before? Every time I saw her smiling this episode I thought of a skeleton. Or maybe the episode was so boring that's all that caught my attention.
  2. Unless the "pilot" thing is the excuse, I didn't understand how they were so stunned that someone else has their technology and can leap. I mean, they know Janice is out there doing God knows what, so how big a leap (haha) is it that someone else has the technology and is doing things. Hell, it's not even THEIR technology, they got it from the 90s and Sam. Guess what? Other people have wheels too.
  3. I had to pick between this and Amsterdam and I picked this. I enjoyed it. It was a nice way to waste an afternoon. I even like the French boyfriend, even though that part was a foregone conclusion. Light, fluffy entertainment I needed. I spent way too much time trying to figure out where I knew Lily from.
  4. I graduated high school well before 1986 and we had practice babies. It's definitely been around longer than 1986.
  5. Yeah, I didn't understand that. (And yes, I know logic has NO place here.) But if the tree was on Woodstone or even half Woodstone property, how could the neighbors cut it down without permission? If it's not on Woodstone property, how could the ghosts go there? Or in Flower's case, halfway around it. Then I dove down the rabbit hole of maybe the Woodstone property was once much bigger and so they can go more places, but half a tree bigger? Eh. No logic allowed.
  6. That's what I thought too. THAT'S a story.
  7. Did they tell the teams there would be "bandits" chasing the train? Because while we knew it was a set-up if they didn't, they'd feel pretty bad about cheering on the people coming to murder them.
  8. Considering how many "wrong" amputations take place in this country, when I go for my amputation (I'm a diabetic in a family of diabetics, it'll happen at some point), I want every single part of my body written on. Not this leg. Not this arm. Not this eye. Not this shoulder. I want it all marked out. I've even seen stories about the patients themselves marking body parts "Leave this leg alone." I'm all for it. Way back in the 70s on Trapper John, Gregory Harrison's character (can't remember the name) lived in an RV in the parking lot. It's not a new idea. I hate character having to put up with Teddy and Owen though. Nobody deserves that. Not the intern, not the other medical personnel and certainly not the patients. Kill them both in a fire and be done with it.
  9. That may or may not be true, but come on, it's Bananas. Essentially he's saying it's not any good until HE get there. Because of course he says that. It's Bananas.
  10. No, never too harsh where Kailah is concerned. I don't know, I might be tempted to think he was okay except for his whole association with her, whom I passionately and whole-heartedly dislike. He's obviously got a screw loose somewhere.
  11. For some reason, Rich's meditating didn't irritate me the same way Dom's did. Maybe because I just didn't like her. But when she did it, she made a point of yelling him she was doing it, in a "you better get this done because I'm over here meditating my ass off for you!" Whereas, he seemed to...just do it. I think he did make a comment about doing it but it seemed a more natural process. Hers was just for show.
  12. Anybody know why Kaycee and her brother had to leave so quickly?
  13. Oh my. I don't follow any of these people off-screen, so only know what I might run across here or there. But yeah...anybody going anywhere with Fessy at any time is totally deserving of a shunning. Blech.
  14. Already there. lol ETA: Wait! The plan was to bring NIA and really, REALLY rub it in Tori's face? That's Bananas level douchery right there.
  15. Yeah, it doesn't look like Turbo has gotten any more reasonable with age. I still don't understand how Aneesa and Jordan are ride or dies, but whatever. I think it was just an excuse to get Jordan in the game and freak out Tori. And it looks like mission accomplished.
  16. For some reason our feed really messed up. I saw a few people at cheese and the first couple try anatomy once and then all the sudden everyone was heading for motorcycles and some people were on 5th or 6th tries on anatomy. Survivor messed up too. One minute they're talking, the next they are in the middle of the challenge. Frustrating. I would have tried the anatomy since I work in a hospital, but I didn't see how long they had. Just all the sudden they were timing out. I probably would have had to do it twice though. Once to get the ones I knew and a second time to concentrate on the ones I didn't know the first time. Unless the time was extremely short, and I never saw the time limit, it doesn't seem like it would have been that hard. But apparently the cheese wasn't difficult either. The one team I saw do it seemed to go quickly.
  17. Wasn't Fat Maria a tree in Brazil or somewhere they had to kiss?
  18. Well, apparently Justine didn't have to finish the solo trip. They let her go on, thus setting the precedent that Angela thought she would be allowed to go on also. In one of the interviews, they said Angela had about 2/3 as much dirt as everyone else, so in team, each would do half, but she still had to do 2/3 on her own. And none of them even finished moving the dirt. Production let them stop and just judged who came in where by how much dirt they had moved. So if Angela had at least tried to stick it out, she might have been okay. But again, she thought she could take the loss and move on because that's what they let Justine do. It was really messed up all around.
  19. I haven't listened to it myself, so I can't vouch for it, but apparently Tyson's podcast points out how the whole finale was kind of hinky. Of course, the Challenge itself has been kind of hinky (Bananas), so shouldn't be that big of a surprise. But I always hope for better.
  20. Yes, even Angela said she had less sand. And then quit. I don't like Sarah but I don't think she deserves an asterisk. She finished. Period. The others quit. Period. They didn't keep trying to see if they would time out. They quit. However, I do think (hope) Sarah will be eaten alive in an international challenge, if those are real Challengers and not like this version.
  21. They've had finals where they climbed a mountain in a blizzard, they had a final in Iceland where they had to do a type of polar bear plunge in freezing water. They haven't all been a picnic.
  22. I agree. The others got to run solo legs, she should have been allowed to try it also. But technically it was a team challenge at that point. Still sucks for her.
  23. I was rooting for Angela, but she did that to herself. I still intensely dislike Sarah, but good on her for finishing. I am trying to convince my parents this isn't a real Challenge, it's more like Challenge Lite. Like Jeopardy and Celebrity Jeopardy. They don't seem to believe me since everyone quit. Real Challengers wouldn't have quit.
  24. Did I miss them showing how the order was made for the challenge? Because that's usually a pretty big deal, choosing who goes first and last. With Angela being last and Tyson being first...who made that order? Not a big fan of Enzo but good on him for winning. I laughed when he said something like he can't win a challenge to save his life, but he can win eliminations. Maybe not exactly the legacy you want, but one way to go.
  25. I watched the first couple of episodes of this, then missed a few, then watched this one last night. You're correct that nothing was said about the mask. In fact, I rewound it and looked at the map. It showed the boat, the motor and the fuel. It did not show a mask. Considering they told us who the snake was before the end, and showed a lot of the work the snake was doing, if the snake had tossed the mask up, I think they would have told us. It was just weird and I think a bad edit that the mask was not mentioned until it was too late. I didn't like that they told us who the snake was before the end. I like to try to figure it out as we go. The other episodes I watched they didn't reveal it until the end. Did they do that on any others episodes that I missed? It kills the drama.
