So sorry to hear that Lookeyloo! Prayers for a speedy recovery and that the speech issues resolve themselves. I am sure that was terrifying and I hope you both get some rest. In the mood for a funny story to cheer you up? Last night I had a dream that Jilly Muffin set a new world record in the 100 freestyle at the Olympics! Bwahaha!!!! As the mother of a 14 year old competitive swimmer this brings up so many questions. What did she wear to swim? How did she get all that hair in a swim cap? When did she get so motivated to work for something? i woke right up and texted my daughter. She is with her team in Puerto Rico training right now. They fly back tonight. She (at 5:30 am so no Duggar time for her) texted me back right away and said, "No fair!!!!". For the record, my daughter has very thick, LONG blonde hair that she deep conditions regularly, gets clarifying treatments and regular trims at the salon, and can get it into a bun/swimcap ready in about 15 seconds. We'e seen Duggar hair under regular conditions. Can you imagine what their hair would be like if subjected to chlorine all the time? Now my daughter gets to spend the rest of the long weekend catching up on schoolwork b/c no SOTDRT for her either.

What is sad to me is I think Cate thought she was being a good mom in that scene. She probably would normally let her wander off, but realized the cameras were watching. So, she thought I better make her come back here. She yelled. It is all she knows. She doesn't realize a good mom would go play with the poor kid.

Wow! Finally watched the sneak peek. That was intense. Some really strong emotions at play there. Part of me is hoping MTV is playing with the time line again and this is in response to Cat Gate. Otherwise, it is sad knowing this all is just going to result in him moving back in shortly down the road. I feel terribly for Jen. I know she is at fault for enabling him, but a mother's love is almost unshakable. Not sure how Jen and Larry would be able to move past this. The producer seemed pretty emotional too; although she had to be thinking, "Finally!".

OMG is "Aivah" meant to be "Ava"? Wow, I guess her name is unique now? Poor kid.

She always has shoes on in these pics...on the carpet. Maybe that is why it looks so dirty? I know the shoes are part of the "look", but it grosses me out. There was an episode last season where she had them on while sitting with her feet on the couch.

Plus her makeup looks tasteful. No raccoon eyes!

Why am I picturing the Duggars (or Sierra) trying to have an Italian theme for the wedding ? They probably are sick of the backlash about not serving food at their receptions. I want to be there for his family's reaction to frozen lasagna and garlic bread at a wedding!

I am sure this is what is going on with Jinger. I am always cold and I am not even particularly thin. I wear long sleeves even through most of summer unless I am going to be outside for a long period of time....like going for a run, the beach, or playing tennis. If I was going shopping or out to eat I would definitely have long sleeves on. I would rather be hot walking from my car to the store than be freezing the entire time I am walking around Target b/ the air conditioning is so cold. It is supposed to be in the 90's here next week and I can't wait. Maybe I will actually swim in our lake. Watch out neighbors. I will be wearing a bikini.

Thank you. I have always struggled with my skin (even now at 39). My parents took me to a dermatologist regularly as a teen even though it was a "luxury" we probably couldn't afford. I never realized people assumed that meant I ate crap and never washed my face/sheets!

How big of fame whores are Sterling's parents? They bought her a new house across the street from Kail in hopes of more screen time? Can't really think of any other reason.

I guess I am the weirdo who loves the summer heat. I can't get enough of it. I don't ever feel truly warm unless I am in the sunshine. It is only in the high 70's here today and I think it is a pretty crummy summer day. Needed my cardigan most or the day b/c it is breezy. On another note, does anyone know what happened to my home page? My shows aren't showing up although if I look in settings they are all still selected. iPhone if it matters.....

This is such a great point. I live in a neighborhood where kids do run around, ride bikes, and play quite a bit. My youngest is 10...every time she wants to ride her bike to a friend's house (a few blocks away) I let her go, but I feak the whole time. Not because I think she is in danger, but because if something WERE to happen I know I would be blasted all over the country as the bad mom who wasn't watching her kid. I relax when she makes it to her friend's house & gives me a call. Growing up we were gone all day. Came home for lunch when we were hungry and then when it started to get dark. I am sure my parents never knew exactly where we were. And it is not like we had cell phones to "check-in". Awesome memories, awesome childhood. Sorry for being off topic as these kids are not old enough to be running around the neighborhood by themselves. Just hit a nerve.

Was it ever explained why Sookie changed from home birth to hospital for baby #2? Also, who was watching Davey when they took off for the hospital? Lorelei met them at the hospital and Rory (who was grossed out by contractions) went back to Yale. I guess we are supposed to assume they called another neighbor, but a throw away line would have been nice.

I am not an Adam defender, but I think if he had gone to the father/daughter dance (instead of all the things Lemons saw on his Facebook page) wouldn't everyone say he only went b/c MTV was filming? Obviously, it would be ideal if he went to all her special events.

In The Fesitival of Living Art episode, Kirk is parked in a red zone. In a previous episode (maybe when Jess got his car?) Kirk says he wishes his mom would let him have a car....or a bike. In the same episode, Lorelai wants to be the Renoir girls so she can wear the beautiful dress. She doesn't get to actually wear it though. She wears a blouse and jeans.
