I don't see a lot of mommy bashing on my SM. I see the Humble Brag Mommies. You know: #noepidural, #sleepingthethroughthenightat2weeks, #breastfedonly, #notoxins, #nochemicals, #clothdiapers, you get the idea. Back to Jessa...she is the one who chooses to put her kids on SM, but at least it shows an attachment to her kids. Mama Bear is coming out. Would Jill do the same?

No matter what Luis does it will not be enough. Sure he can buy a crib, car seat, stroller etc, but Brianna won't let him take Stella for the weekend or whatever. That would take too much away from her, "woe is me" narrative. I am not trying to say I have huge hopes for Luis, but I don't think it matters either way. The coven would never admit that a man could be as capable as them.

Thank you for understanding my sarcasm. I guess it was actually more "wishful thinking" than sarcasm, but I know better.

Of course she will! She just has to toss the baby in the crib with a bottle and a hot dog and she will be good to lay on the couch all day and post. This is why we watch this show. For these valuable Mommy lessons. ?

Surely JimBob and Michelle wouldn't be vacationing in Hawaii if something was terribly wrong. Even they aren't that self-centered, right? RIGHT????

I am seriously concerned that this is the best Jenelle could pretend to be a mom. What must it be like when MTV is not there? She wants us to believe that she is a loving mom, but the truth shines through loud and clear. It is all about Jenelle and what she wants and how she feels.

I know Kaiser is too old for a bottle, and giving a baby a bottle to sleep with is always terrible for their teeth, but I hope she doesn't take it away. It is his only comfort. His only way to soothe himself. I can't imagine how lost he would feel without it. Clearly, Nathan and Jenelle did not want Barb and Kaiser to have a relationship. However, I think at this point Jenelle would let her see him just to give herself a break from her stressful life. I think Barb steps back from him to protect herself. She doesn't want to wind up in the same position she is in with Jace. She can't take on another baby full time and still give Jace what he needs. I also can't imagine the emotional toll of worrying about him. WE worry about him and we don't even know him. Perhaps it is unfair to Kaiser that she is not as emotionally invested, but I get it.

I am guessing she thinks all white cheese is the same.

Sorry, couldn't get rid of the quote box. Just wanted to see, if I counted from the first contraction I was in labor for weeks! I would lie in bed and watch the clock and pray for another one to come. They would be very regular for several hours on end. I thought they were painful. The difference was, when the first real contraction hit, I never wanted one again! I went from "please keep these coming so I can get this over with" to "OMG I can totally wait another couple of weeks" instantly.

I think homebirths are just another way women one up each other. I am not so much in to the whole mommy shaming thing, but many women are. I gave birth without the epidural! Well, I used no pain medication at all! I gave birth in the tub! Well, I gave birth at home. The Duggars give birth at home with no Midwife, medications, or prenatal care. Top that! I will gladly tell anyone that asks that I used any and all pain relief methods offered. Except for the one who came too fast. I still haven't quite forgiven him. He turned 13 this year.

S05.E01: Joy's Wedding/S05.E02: Triple Date Night

This got me thinking...do you think they are taught to wash themselves properly? Or would that be "touching themselves"? I probably don't want to know. Why do I wonder these things??? -
So sorry. I know how scary this is. I hope you get good news tomorrow.

Sorry to hear this Arwen. Strength and healing thoughts being sent your way.

Some of them almost look like they could fit in to my kids heathen Catholic school. They wear maroon shirts with a gold crest and khaki (or plaid) bottoms. Of course our students usually brush their hair, wear nice shoes, and iron--or remove promptly from the dryer--their clothes!

Saw a new LLR low on my FB page today. A woman posted her birth announcement with her newest shipment. As in the baby was laying in the box of new inventory with some kind of announcement like "our new arrivals" or something like that. No idea who this lady is or why it showed up on my page. Think she might regret those photos some day when she realizes the time/money she wasted on LLR or gets the shudders by seeing her baby surrounded by all those hideous patterns? Just throwing an idea out there for Meri and Maddie!

My LLR radar must have been on this weekend. Never been to a sale or bought anything, but thanks to this site I can spot it a mile away. Example 1, saw somebody I hadn't seen recently and thought she looked great. She was wearing slim cut dark jeans. Saw her the next day with LLR leggings on...woah! Apparently she has not lost weight. Huge difference. Also spotted a lady in a full ensemble with a huge fugly burnt sienna colored top and leggings. Then a woman in a polyester type top that looked like something from the Walmart baby section 20 years ago. Ugh. Point being....people are actually buying this stuff! Meri has to be selling stuff, but it will never last and she will be stuck with a ton of inventory.

Thank you! This annoys me to no end!

It is so hard for dads to convince a judge they are the best choice. I am a preschool teacher. In my class there is a little boy whose dad is desperate to get primary custody. Mom has a DUI (with child in car) and several failed drug tests. Best he can get is 50/50. I can't imagine the fear he lives with. As much as I despise Kail she is not putting her kids in that kind of danger I don't believe.

I really have a strong feeling Jessa is having a girl. She will really feel superior then. Poor Jilly, no sister mom in sight. Of course she still has plenty of siblings to take advantage of.

What a strange outfit for the photo. I guess not strange, but just not special. Looks like she grabbed some random things out of Israel's too small pile. So many cute baby boy options nowadays. Is she even excited about this baby?

I need a reason to throw a fancy party. I want that cheese table (your version, not the Duggar's)

A few thoughts: I love the magic of Stars Hollow winter. I live in the snow belt and hate cold/snow, but I would love it if it was like in SH. So, white and sparkly and must not be too cold b/c you can wear skirts, dresses, fashionable hats & boots. Rory's new voice is bugging me. I am sure she is just not putting on the baby voice she used before, but it seems weird. Not her fault. I wish her character had some redeeming qualities. She is still self centered and a special snowflake. I do admire that she has kept up relationships with high school and college friends and is working towards the career she wants and hasn't settled for a regular job. Maybe her relationship with Paul was supposed to be a good thing? Like, "look at wonderful Rory. So kind and thoughtful she doesn't want to hurt Paul's feelings and break up with him"??? I don't see it that way, but trying to figure out what ASP was going for I thought Logan needed it all or nothing with Rory? He didn't want to continue to date long distance and wanted to settle down. I realize casual hook ups are not the same as dating, but still seems off. Rory being ok with it seems out of character, too. Loved the funeral! Well, love doesn't sound right, but it was very well done and made me teary. Loved that Emily called Lorelai out. I loved her shock at seeing Emily in jeans and a tee. Didn't care for the surrogacy storyline, but I get it as a midlife crisis kind of thing and it as a plot device to put a wedge in between L/L. I don't find it at all out of character that they didn't have a real conversation about it. Luke felt Lorelai out about the situation and she didn't seem in to it, so he dropped it. You don't have a baby unless both partners are committed to the idea. It is called maturity. Luke could let it go because he cares more about Lorelai's happiness. It wouldn't have played out that way though if Lorelai had been the one to want kids. I liked seeing the townies. I loved that Kirk was still Kirk, but it was a little much. Loved seeing Michel, but the Sookie explanation seemed lame. Don't remember any mention of Jackson or the kids. Band practice was lame, but I can appreciate them still keeping up with something they love. From my comments it seems like I enjoy it, but I did. I just liked the nostalgia of it all and I really do like Lorelai and Rory as characters even though I don't know why when I examine them too closely!
