  1. I really worry that the whole's fan backlash of Metatron (I must be one of the very few that truly enjoy the character) will force Carver's hand in "dialing him down", and I sure as hell dont wish it ! Gimme more Metatron !
  2. Actually, and though I totally agree with you that Dean and Amara's bond should be a main focus of the rest of the season (and I also hope it wont transmit to Lucifer, but who knows, that could bring interesting stuff), I'm really fine with having a little bit more Sam this season. I have the impression that the last two seasons were mostly Dean, so I'd like that change to keep on for a few more episodes.
  3. Eric Kripke's pitching of Supernatural is amazing ! No wonder he got green-lighted with that, even though I dont remember Supernatural ever getting into that "leaving the audience with the possibility of a rationale explanation"... the show's never hidden from the, well... supernatural. ^^
  4. I'm still calling Lucifer... sorry, Clayton Haas, the brain of the terrorist operation. Unpopular opinion but I think Caleb is an interestingly written character. Then, again, all the main characters have real potential, it's just a shame they have to submerge all of it beneath teenage-movie formulas and cheesy dialogue... Anyway, that's the thing about this show, it could be so much more, but well... (though I totally admit it as a guilty pleasure ! ^^) Back to what happened there... so I think the real question is : who was at the Command Central when it blew up ? When you narrow it down, there's ONE main character that could potentially be dead : Shelby. I admit I'd be sad to lose her. Among other unacounted : I'm not under the impression that Raina was there. I dont remember her participating much in the investigation. It would be a shame to lose her though it could bring up a huge character crisis for Nimah, but I'm not sure it would be worth killing Raina and the writers would probably screw up Nimah's writing so I hope she's not dead. Since I'm calling Clayton Lucifer Haas as the brain of the operation I dont think he bite it, but perhaps his recomitment with Supernatural required him to drop the show, and I'm completely wrong about it, who knows... Maybe Caleb was there, if he was manipulated and brainwashed into the whole thing, he blew himself along, but I hope not. The character can still be useful and (imo) can be explored and developed a lot more. Alex, Nimah, Natalie, Simon, Miranda and Liam were all in the hotel so they're okay (except if the last two were supervising the evacuation from the CC, but last time I remember seing them was down in the boiling room, with the defused - or fake - bomb). Cant remember any other main character who could potentially be dead (except if Booth was in a hospital inside the station, but that's unlikey). But there must be casualties, so curious to find them out (which means I'll be back for that show in March... well, why not after all...)
  5. In a way, it is the most mysterious chapter of the entire saga, yes, even more than the House of the Undying, in my opinion. That final Sam chapter is atmospheric, menacing, setting a lot of things and posing quite a lot of brand new questions... I hope you'll enjoy it and understand why it closes the book ! ;)
  6. Just a detail I really enjoyed, caughting up on it again on rewatch : "- I consumed their souls. They arent gone. They're a part of me and in that way they live forever." Okay, I admit that was predictable and an easy way to justify what we'd call by our standards an evil act. But still, it's the first concrete clue we have as to how the Darkness sees the world and her views on how she could upgrade her brother's Creation.
  7. My theory for the absence of Michael and Adam is that Rowena's spell was meant just to make Lucifer materially appear in front of them.
  8. Totally ! From Brienne VII (the fight at the inn), it's one hell of a ride to the end ! Except maybe the next chapter coming for shimpy, which is good, but maybe less intense than the rest of them.
  9. Well that was a very strong episode. Perfect balance of hilarious moments (and punchlines !), really dark stuff, plot-moving one the long term, character-driven scenes... the actors were all brilliant (I missed Peyton tough, I wished she was more involved in the story but there might be a schedhuling issue at hand). Anyway, it's gonna be a long wait till the reprisal (well, it's all relative, after all. In the end it's quite a short wait) and they left on a really good note.
  10. Is he ? I didnt actually get that impression, I thought he was staying behind in town. I will have to rewatch.
  11. Ok, so Rumple is the resident Dark One in town again and no one thinks about warning Storybrooke about it ? I mean, did he really think he could fool anyone ! Yeah, sure, try to pull the act for Belle once again, that worked pretty well all the times before, didnt it ?
  12. Just passing by to give a bump to this thread as we patiently wait for a third season that is more than likely going to be amazing !
  13. I really wished for a John Simm (cameo) regeneration into Michelle Gomez this episode ! Well, sadly it didnt come to pass. Actually, I enjoyed that finale though I'm let down by quite a few stuff, but, well, in the end, it had really decent (and some awesome) moments. Sad we didnt get a Missy appearance, I think her non-presence (apart from the opening two-parters) is my biggest let-down of the series.
  14. Well, I've read (or seen on youtube, cant remember) some kind of essay where, basically, the point was that the poor way Sam describes his penis is a reflexion of his own poor views on that part of his anatomy. I kinda like that interpretation, actually, it makes sense (imo).
  15. Wow, I loved it ! I mostly laughed my ass off, especially during the first half of the episode. And I definitly shed some tears during the ending ! As cases of the week go, I couldnt expect more ! Introduction of a new creature (adding to an already imense mythology) in a very clever way. Emotional punches of secondary characters delivered perfectly without needing an over the top exposition (that twin story - and acting !) brought me to tears !). Some real insight into the mind state of one brother in preparation for a big event (guys, next week's gonna be totally awesome !). And damn, there were some hilarious stuff in it ! I'll definitly have to rewatch ! Loved it ! EDIT : actually a lot of my hilarity comes from meta-"private" jokes. The formule is so predictable ! But it works ! I mean, you can tell exactly the structure and the main narrative beats in advance, but bloody hell, it works and I laugh every time I see something coming up ahead ! Of course, there were some awesome brothers reactions as well and wtf jokes (that riff !) that totally worked on me ! So all in all, on many different levels it was a very good episode for me !
  16. Hahaha, I just spent the last 20 minutes reading the summaries of the chapters ahead (and yeah, a wiki being a wiki, I opened quite a dozen tabs, so all in all it was quite the reading), and indeed, things are definitly ramping up from now on.
  17. She added the dreamcatcher to the spell, thus erasing everyone's memory... or at least everyone that was taken by the spell.
  18. One point this episode convinced me of was that Emma is amazing at fighting the Darkness. I think a lot of Hook's snarks and deeds were influenced by the Darkness, in the way, in the end, it influenced all the other Dark Ones. Yeah, you can say that Rumple appeared more rationale at times, but deep down, he was as sneaky and twisted as Hook appeared to be here, he was just better at finding himself excuses. But really, Emma is giving a hell of a time to the Darkness ! She's given in a few times, yeah, but always managed to pull herself above it, so kuddos Emma !
  19. Yeah, but they were the Cult of Skaro, the most open-minded Daleks to ever exist and even they were quite reluctant to the idea of a hybrid.
  20. The Hybrid is actually a High-Bird and it's the shepard's boy ! Sorry, already out ! x)
  21. Think your confusing Euron with Victarion ! ^^ It was a Victarion chapter and it's Victarion that will go and try to fetch Dany ! ;) Well, personally, I enjoyed that chapter for Euron's mad-as-always speeches, I'm repeating myself here, but I love his rock star attitude, for me, the alchemy of the character works (as opposite to Daario where the same kind of alchemy fails... or doesnt work with the same efficiency).
  22. Anyone though the "Hybrid is me" line could actually be misdirecting and it's "Me" with a capital M, aka Ashildr ?
  23. Well, judging by next week previews, I dont expect to be disapointed ! ^^ I wont say anything about them if you want to remain unspoiled ! :) And yeah, in the end, my main question after the episode is "how is the Doctor a hybrid" ? Meta-Ten was half-human, ok, but he wasnt the Doctor... at what point did the Doctor received DNA of another species ? Cant remember from Nu-Who at least ! But it will probably, in the end, be a twisted choice of word for something else !
  24. Wow, that was something ! Too soon to delve further into the episode, but damn, that was a performance !
