Well, I was curious to get your thoughts on the latest Sam chapters, where you can see him manipulate the election of the new LC, it was some great moments for his character ! Oh, and I was also wondering if you'd comment on Val and Dalla, and the fact that Mance is a father in the books. And that amazing moment where Jon compares the red of Melisandre to the red of Ghost's eyes... red and white, blood and snow... And obligatory : "I soooooooo miss Val in the show !"... cause Val ! ^^

Everyone talking about Jeyne and Robb's arc, and I'm just here, waiting for shimpy's thoughts on the remaining of the Wall story arc... ^^

Hehe, you're getting closer and closer to the end of the book... You'll find out that most of the remaining chapters are centered around one particular story arc and I definitly cant wait for you to read these ! :)

Well, I was let down by the episode. It was decent, but I was so convinced this would be the time "where they talk"... Akin to the Doctor's Wife, I thought the Impala would take human (female) form or vessel and she'd talk with the brothers, it would have been glorious, but it didnt come to pass !

Really curious about this one ! Can be either awesome or quite boring ! But I trust it will be good !

I liked it so far but I didnt want to see him jump into redemption train ! I wanted him to keep spiraling down and down into dark places, but the end of last episode suggested he may get himself out of it, and I would have prefered otherwise. In other remarks... c'mon, Clive gotta have noticed that Liv's erratic behavior is synched with the victims they investigate on each time !

I'm surprised Peyton didnt at least consider her crush maaaay be, possibly, a zombie. All with the white hair and all (well, even if it's just an act).

Some (not to say all of them) of the psychedelic / distorded scenes during Brian's side effects were really great visuals !

Of course ! ^^ I didnt want to openly say her name because even though shimpy's already met her, she probably doesnt remember her and I dont want to influence her reading. But yeah, I'm still sad she didnt make the cut. Not necessarly at the Wall, but linked to that arc storyline. A gorgeous blonde woman you saw only once so far at the beginning of the book and whose lover fell to his death at some point. It starts by a V and she has a pregnant sister ! ;) Cant say more ! ^^

Yeah, Slynt is a total jackass ! I still regret not getting the Ice Cells in the show but I can understand why that bit was omitted. Speaking of regrets (and to stay in the Wall storyline), I'm still not over a particular character being cut, but that's mostly because I have huge childish crush on her. You've met her already, and she's a very minor character, but I wont openly say her name here. Readers will know who I'm talking about ! ^^

Just noticed you didnt notice (or didnt comment) on some info you get in Jaime's chapter return to KL. I wont tell you what I'm referring to though ! ^^

If we can get the book before S6, yeah, I think a month in advance would be the perfect timing... which would mean a late February (my birthday !), early March... that would be gold ! But I dont get my hopes up. I'm still betting on an August 2016 release.

Okay, okay, I dont want to be the one to bring that topic back again, but I'll do just in passing... Shimpy, you have heard (read) the name of a new character that is the reason we wanted to discuss Balon's death with you. I wont say anything more but perhaps that will ring a bell ! ;) Oh, and yeah, you've learnt some news about Theon... hehe, you know he's most likely gonna be back in the story, but for us readers, that moment where Roose gives a piece of his skin to Cat is the first time we get any Theon whereabouts and hints that his story is not necessarly over ! ;)

Yeah, as much as I'd want to discuss Balon's death, we should wait for shimpy to get that one information she'll receive very (very !) soon...

I dont know about luck, but I cant go to my father's hometown in Morroco without getting the "Aman awid Aman" jokes (which would litteraly translate as "Water, bring me water !" ^^) Sooo, you've read the Bran chapter at Queenscrown... I know the show couldnt have done the tower in the middle of a lake and the "under water" bridge visual, but I loved it in the books !

Since we're on talking names, here's my two cents on the conversation : My name (Aman - spelled like the capital of Jordan) is quite unusual, and it's a Berber (Amazigh to be precise) name (you know, those tribes who lived in Northern Africa before the Arab invasions, my father is from there and my mother is French). And it means "water", which is a thing I've always loved ! ^^ Oh, and back to the books : looking forward for you to reach the Bran and Jon chapters that come after the Arya you're reading now ! ;)

Yeah, reading them slowly it took me two days each if I remember correctly ! But first, let's wait for shimpy to finish the amazing book 3 ! Looking forward to know at what point she is now !

He, I was actually wondering as well about Could be interesting...

Aaaah, that duel chapter ! Even though the Beric / Sandor duel was pretty intense in the show, I was left a bit disapointed. The way GRRM wrote that scene is really breath-taking. Very visual, and claustrophobic (all with the intense heat, the sweat, the dancing light of the flames in that immense cave...) But yeah, the book version of it is bigger than nature and would have cost a hell lot to render in the show (and would have felt a bit too much mayhaps). If I recall correctly, the Blackfish was much more "gentle" to Edmure in the books after his fail attempts at the funeral. The (failed, imo) combinaison of the Blackfish and the Greatjon in the show didnt work for me and I dont like the show! Blackfish as much as I wished I could. I know I often say that, but you have an amazing chapter ahead ! (that Jaime !!!) :)
