  1. Wanted to chime in to add my kudos for @BetyBee. Your neighbor is lucky to have you. And yeah, both doses of the shingles shot kicked my butt but I figure it's better than the alternative. My side effects just lasted like 24 hours (other than the sore arm)--hope you feel better soon.
  2. Oh, okay, poor wittle Benny. So I am bisexual and have had two abortions. Saying that is not an attack on my character. Take all the seats, snowflake sweetie. I mean, I am sorry Jessa lost her pregnancy and in a way that is traumatic for her. But trying to monetize it means you have to be ready for people to respond. That's on her.
  3. What @AstridMsaid ^^^. Jinger's outfit is made of fugly.
  4. That is an excellent point, actually, and quite unusual. Thanks for pointing it out. I did not realize how much I was rooting for Naho until it became clear she was not winning. My second choice won; I am happy (both of those kids are Bay Area, too, which is where I live).
  5. Definitely. I used to clean apartments in the summers for the university in the town where I grew up (between tenants) and I had to clean one that had had a fire. No way no how you just move back into a house after that without some serious cleaning and work. I think I care more about this than the writers, clearly. I am just over Maggie and her childish bullshittery. Being a supposed genius does not have to mean she is a terrible person. Winston needs to divorce her selfish ass and cut his losses.
  6. I know what you mean. All I can remember is it was not who I expected but I have no memory of who was even in the finale.
  7. I loved this episode. Tears streaming at the end of it loved it. Ellie's face after she apologizes to Riley for the kiss and Riley says "for what?" The moment of joy on her face--not an expression we've seen in the series, I think--was perfect.
  8. It was. She kind of sounded like a sheep.
  9. I mean, it may be more widespread but I am certain it is a CA code. I think it has been adopted perhaps as shorthand so maybe I have to forgive the writers? (Nah.)
  10. I thought it was lazy that the writers had Maya asking if Carina was going to 5150 her. That's a California code, writers, and Maya and Carina are supposed to be in Seattle. Agreed that Jack needs to be evaluated more than just, "so, you still got the outfit? Wanna come back?" I did get a kick out of seeing Sharon Gless.
  11. I hate the Vivica Fox CarShield commercials, particularly the one with the cold shoulder top and sprayed on pleather pants. Speaking of actors who are better than the commercials they sign on for...
  12. Thank you for that info--I will watch for him now. I did not realize either that they have to use everything. I guess it makes sense?
  13. I was happy to see that Elizabeth Falkner has decided to wear a chicken on her head. Or maybe she just goes to Anne Burrell's stylist. (I can't stand her and the sillier she looks, the better. She is a sore loser and no fun to watch, for me.)
  14. Exactly. Criminy ann. I think it was James?
  15. I am sad to have watched (on fast-forward mostly) that waste-o-time. When Katey(maybe) was unpacking a bag and Jed! (maybe) was playing with their kid, she commented that the carry-on was full of diapers and Hogan's Heroes. WTactualH? So, they travel with DVDs? So, they think they'll be able to play American DVDs in the EU? So, they like Hogan's Heroes? Also, the dialogue was pretty muted and then the video would change back to INCIDENTAL MUSIC and blow out my eardrums. I expect they are trying to monetize this so maybe try at least a bit?
  16. All the social media "chefs" had me shaking my proverbial cane. I was sure the woman who was crying in all her THs would be the one who went home but the show tricked me. A little concerned about how scattered the ICU doc was--I guess his skills are quite specific and his ability to focus did not transfer. I could never be on this show, what with all the shrieking. Dial it back, all of you! Shrieking in the elevator, yelling at the cooks while they bring their food to the center thing, yelling during the final challenge... I would need earplugs.
  17. The thing I did not understand was that last rescue seemed like a Squad job, which is not SuperStella, right? So why was her team doing it instead of Squad?
  18. If he's magnanimous. I'd charge at least triple.
  19. Bless her heart.
  20. They told me not to smile in my Real ID photo (Northern CA). I mean, you're at the DMV so it's no challenge to not be smiling.
  21. They had one challenge where they had to recreate their signature dish to share at a meal with other contestants, didn't they? And they used to have them cook for their loved ones, which was another challenge I miss.
  22. Maybe it's when you follow individual shows? I know there are radio buttons there one of which defaults to "let others see that I follow this content." Don't know if you can go back and change that and it would be painful to have to do it for every one.
  23. For instance--this would demonstrate actual progress. Even if not in the finale, it would be a good challenge to incorporate somewhere. It seems like they may have had some challenge like that in past seasons? Before it turned into more grandstanding and shenanigans than cooking.
  24. I hate hate hate it. I like to have color around me and have lots of colorful original art plus colors other than beige on the walls. But I guess I know my own taste, rather than following whatever is "in." Isn't it good for kids to have visual stimulation and wouldn't colors other than beige contribute to that?
  25. Is Guy trying to make it seem more like a sports program, with all the idiotic nicknames? (Sincerely asking--I do not watch sports.)
