My irritation with Porsha has less to do with her and more to do with her family that let her get to be this age and be a pretty idiot. I think they were all so certain that she was going to be a trophy wife that they never challenged her to use her brain.

Something that I learned about in my history of medicine class a million years ago is that nasal reconstruction using a forehead flap is a surgery that has existed for thousands of years. Elaine really should have gone for it because it has the benefit of just redirecting a local blood supply. Plus, I've seen some fantastic results using the forehead flap, but it is UGLY while healing. I wish this show would stop featuring mentally ill plastic surgery addicts. They need some real discussion of body dysmorphia.

I agree. I work in the mental health substance use disorder field I could tell during season 1 that Kim was abusing some sort of substance. Watching the Uncensored special, showed us that production and the crew knew she had fallen off the wagon. I just think poor Kyle was overwhelmed by Kim's relapse coupled with decades of trauma from Kim's substance use.

I'm sure Rocky told Leon about Kate "drinking." Leon slept through the entire fire and awoke the next morning. He had no knowledge about the alleged drinking except for what Rocky told him. Rocky has no understanding of how she comes across to everyone. The only reason Eddie decided to gaslight her was because Rocky comes across as completely untrustworthy. And that shit almost worked. How was she not aware that to come at folks she needed receipts?

I know it sounds very victim blamey, but I read it more like "before you realize that you don't have to put up with being disrespected." And what we've seen of James interacting with Kristen and Lala, makes me think that he likes to play head games.

I don't know if it's still available, but one of The Right Reasons podcasts had VPR producer on. He said that it's one of the shows where he has to do the least amount of "producing." He said that basically the cast has all been friends for years and they are messy as hell. All of his producing amounts to telling the cast to show up and lying to them as to why they need to be there.

Rocky has absolutely no self awareness. For two seasons, we've seen Kate be snooty, bitchy, but professional and competent. This season, we've seen Rocky be erratic, immature, unhinged, unprofessional, and incompetent. When she starts to accuse Kate of being drunk and unprofessional, I want to be like bitch really?!?! Who was the one who broke down in tears. Every. Single. Time. She. Got. Constructive. Criticism. Who was the one who striped off her clothes and dove off the boat when her asshole friend got fired? Who was the one who caused a 7 hour delay to her crew mates when she abandoned ship and couldn't even apologize? Kate could've been Nicholas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas drunk every time the camera was off and I'd still believe that she wasn't drinking because we've only ever seen Rocky to be an immature, disruptive, petulant, unprofessional asshole.

The fire was all Kate's fault. If Kate hadn't been so drunk, she would have seen that chef Leon left the oven ridiculously dirty and capable of catching fire. Drunk Kate was too drunk to clean up Leon's filthy oven before she negligently put a pizza in there. Clearly Kate is to blame. I don't know how anyone could think otherwise.

Rocky is such a self absorbed whiny child. I can't believe what a snot she was being when Ben cut his finger and needed her to sous for him. I love that Ben just calmly reminded her that this is how the restaurant industry works. Did she think that she was going to graduate from culinary school and Jeffrey Chodorow was going to give her a restaurant? What an entitled little shit. Not to mention how awful she was by rubbing her hook up with Eddie in Emile and Amy's faces. There's a reason people say don't shit where you eat. Eddie fucked up colossally. He hooked up with an attention seeking loon while he was on a reality show and had a girlfriend. I can't stand Rocky, but these were all CHOICES he made. Then to deny it, knowing that everyone thinks Rocky's a lying nutbag, not cool. Good for Connie. Emile is not tough or hardass. He's a little boy.

What is with sociopathic James? He's only agreeing to therapy with Kristen for a storyline, but I'm pretty sure that Kristen doesn't know that. At some point he must have cared for her. This feels especially cruel. Poor poor Scheana. Why do the worst things seem to happen to her? If only she wasn't an out of control narcissist, she might have noticed that the other half of her amazing relationship was miserable. Were the SUR girls being nasty to Lala? Eh, maybe. But Lala is a by her own implication a prostitute. Like if you're going to imply that, you should freaking own it. As we've seen, none of these chucklefucks is remotely professional. So I find it laughable that Jax would be indignant and huffy about being retrained. Also in my experience, places that aren't bar bars can't make drinks. Their bartenders can make the restaurant's signature drinks and like a basic rum and coke, but anything that's not on the menu and requires real skills and knowledge is not something they can do.

It's so funny because I read the recipe that yourmomiseasy posted and it looked a lot like mine. I will say that if you want a smoke gravy from this, you can put a drip pan under the turkey. But you really don't want any drippings that have been sitting in the smoker too long because they are too smokey. Like less than 2 hours in the smoker. I use turkey stock from year before for my gravy.

I like them together too. I think they are probably as close as we'll ever see, on this show, of a functional normal relationship. It helps that they were friends first. They, especially Arianna, can be smug. But for the most part, I like them. I also don't consider them making out while Tom was with Kristen to be some unforgivable sin. Tom and Kristen had a really dysfunctional relationship and were clearly unwilling to sit down and discuss what was wrong. It's clear they had never had a talk about cheating as a deal breaker. Plus Kristen kept insisting that Tom and Arianna slept together, which they still deny. Whether you consider making out cheating, Kristen was willing to put up with much greater transgressions from Tom. So I keep wondering why Tom and Arianna is the hill Kristen's willing to die on other than Tom is legitimately happy now and it's killing her.

This has been my assumption too that a siphoning witch is a rare mutation that might be slightly more prevalent in the Gemini Coven, but not only found in their bloodline. On another note, it just occurred to me that the actor playing Julian also played Julius Caesar on Spartacus. Caeser was such a smug ass.

Seriously. If this season is all about doing favors for you and yours, why wouldn't Tyra throw a bone to her mother, who birthed her and is a competent photographer, instead of her incompetent boyfriend.

I call bullshit on that call out order. Nyle's shots were really striking especially because his mother really played with her angles. Mikey's were really strong too. He was giving tons of face. I thought both of the girls' photos were pretty weak. Lacey looked great, but disconnected from her mom. And when Mame looked connected to her mom they didn't look that great.

I give this show a lot of leeway when it comes to fantasy law, but there is no way that any judge would have allowed the DA to put a bug in a defense attorney's practice and potentially ruin privilege for every case Annalise has. A judge might have allowed a wire tap on Annalise's phone and definitely would have allowed one on the Hapstall's phone. But a general bug picking up everything? Bullshit. Sinclair is the worst. I'll be quite glad when that silly bint gets got.

Klaus and Aurora have anti-chemistry. I can't watch them because there is nothing between them. I just sit back and listen to Joseph Morgan's voice. The first interesting Strix we've met was Genghis Khan's senior torturer and this show had to kill him. Why did the show have to go through the insane machinations to get Rebekah back to New Orleans? When once she got the spell, Rebekah would have come back to New Orleans to resurrect Kol.

This love affair plot only works because Denis O'Hare is just that good and Finn Wittrock is great playing off of Denis. There was no lead up to this great love. We only saw brief snippets of the romance in this episode, which was ironic because it was so obviously doomed. This great love only existed on the screen for maybe 10 minutes and only works because of the acting. Alex is the worst. She cares so little about her daughter and husband that she abandons her daughter and gaslights her husband. Plus she's smug about John being an unfit parent. So much man ass. I ain't mad at that.

Jax' birthday is in July and we know that they filmed the birthday trip and arrest in Hawaii and Scheana's birthday is in May. So I think they filmed May through July of 2015.

My biggest irritation with Eddie is not that he cheated or that he didn't discuss the change in the status of their naughty parts tetris. My biggest irritation is that he's trying to maintain this fiction that Rocky seduced him. Like excuse me?!?! Seduction takes work. What Emile is trying to do to win Rocky over is work. It's not working, but it's work. All of Rocky's endless flattery of chef Leon was work. All Rocky did was lift up her skirt and flash Eddie her choni. That's not seduction. And if it is, it's the laziest seduction I've ever heard of and Eddie is the laziest dumbest heaux for falling for it.
