  1. I've never attended a Shen Yen ballet, but when my daughter lived in Prague and we visited, she and her husband took us to a cult run restaurant where they enjoyed the food. The staff was nice, but they always had a video going of their female leader. Keep your sales resistance up and enjoy the show. It sounds like a an interesting show.
  2. My eyes! Why isn't she wearing a mahdest, skin tight mermaid skirt and a hoodie blouse?! 😜
  3. We've been binge-ing this show for about a month and last watched this episode. I'm not enjoying the Mars story. I've been disgusted with selfish Ed for many episodes now. I hate the Miles story. I'm sorry, but that actor makes such awful faces, I just want to punch him. I really hope the next few episodes can redeem this show, but I don't feel very optimistic about it, because the writing has gotten very poor.
  4. That's a good point. Kaylee appeared to have no use for the nurses and doctors who helped to save her child's life. She pretty much shrugged off the death of the NICU twin as the "Lord's will". Now she's vague posting criticisms of Jonathan's aunt. I hold no hope for Kaylee escaping the Mahmo cult. It's just that I don't think she's capable of the kind of narcissism that Jill demonstrates. I think she's trying to me Mahmo's favorite. That will never happen, but she's useful to Mahmo as long as she's trying.
  5. I think Kaylee is a lost cause and is setting herself up for a miserable life. I don't think she can be Jill 2.0 because she's more of a people pleaser and doesn't possess Jill's narcissism. She's not bright enough to see what is happening in her own life. Jill and her clone wannabe are making digs at the Coverett family. I truly hope that Tim flips that house and moves closer to Heidi's family. I also think that September is too far away for the wedding. Jill could spoil his life by then. They should move the date up, change the locks on his house and rent it or sell it and go no contact with the Rods.
  6. Someone posted the following on Ellen Coverett's instagram page after she posted Christmas pictures: I have to say that Timmy is looking so happy and starting to look healthier since he’s been with Heidi and your family. We apparently aren't the only ones who see the difference in Tim. Unless that comment was from one of us! Ellen answered diplomatically, btw.
  7. My husband is installing a new kitchen faucet. He hates plumbing jobs and the swear words are flying! 😳 Peace will reign again when he's finished. 🤞
  8. Surely this is the nicest Christmas Tim has ever experienced. I'm glad he found a family that has embraced him. They seem to really care for him and made an effort to give him thoughtful gifts. All he has ever experienced in the past is everyone doing their best to please Mahmo. He never even knew that his feelings matter until he met Heidi.
  9. Site was down last night. Thankfully, it seems to be working fine now. Hope it stays that way! In other news, it's our 46th anniversary today. Woot!
  10. I certainly don't. But then, cooking is an everyday occurrence for me. For Jill, it's a very unique activity!
  11. I wonder if Jill was a light to her Amish neighbors, lighting the way to her KJV brand of Christianity and Plexus?
  12. If a lady really asked Jill that question, it was likely someone who has been fooled by Jill's ample use of filters, not someone who met her in real life. Yeah, she's aging. She only thinks she looks as young as her daughters.
  13. That sounds like a terribly scary moment you experienced, @Ancaster!
  14. Especially since Alyssa has a heart condition. But I guess they needed a golden penis to carry on the Webster name 😢
  15. I wonder if Jinger is ever mistaken for being Jer's daughter? He has kind of a "what age is he anyway?" look!
  16. For a woman with 13 children, she talks to babies and young kids in such a shrieky, ridiculous tone of voice! You would think she'd have learned a different approach after all these years!
  17. Thank you to all for the kind words regarding the loss of my Mother. I think I learned where the expression "heartbroken" comes from. When I learned of her passing, my actual heart felt like it was literally breaking! I had to sit down and take deep breaths. People have been so kind and I really appreciate it. We're going to have a memorial service at the end of January. There's a lot to do to get her house ready to sell and to find a place for my brother (who lived with her) to live. The taxes are too high for him to remain there. Anyway, there's a lot to go through in her house full of memories. I worry about my brother being alone there after so many years of caring for her. I'm really thankful that Mom was able to stay in her home until the very end. That was what she wanted. She touched so many lives in her 93 years of life. She really had a wonderful life, like George Bailey!
  18. Yes, thank you for asking. My kids had all just left for their in-laws when I got the call. My husband is here and I've been talking with my siblings and my kids. We have to plan things and hold one another up. My youngest sister and her husband are home with Covid. I wish I could hug her. It's really hard to believe, even though it wasn't unexpected.
  19. My Mom passed away this morning. My brother found her. She died peacefully in her chair this Christmas morning. She was 93. My heart is broken.
  20. 🙄- I bet Jill's neighbors were thrilled with the intrusion! And the stupid smiley tract!
  21. Kaylee does look really pretty in the pics on her way to Jonathan's family. Apparently, there is no need to trowel on a bucket of make up when they visit his family! At the RodHouse, it's a requirement!
  22. Yeah, I get when people put their tv over a fireplace, because it's usually the focal point of a room. But why did the Dillards put it up so high?
  23. I do wish you luck, @oliviabenson! You are so clever and well educated and you deserve a job that pays a living wage!
