This may sound super crabby, but why do my retired friends choose to call me at dinner time? Or in the evening at all? We have an evening routine that we like, and phone calls are as irritating to me as they are to my millenial offspring. I don't mind texts. I've taken to turning my phone off in the evening!

Puts me in mind of this. -
🤣 Soon Abbie will be "loosing" money, due to the foolishness of joining an MLM!

I haven't watched the video, but I think I know the answer to when will Joy move to California - never!

I think Jeremy would eventually be as qualified as Johnny Mac himself. However, I don't know what attracts people to MacArthur. Perhaps he's an engaging speaker? I don't think Jeremy is, from what I hear.

I think he will work for MacArthur and that he probably hopes to replace MacArthur when/if he retires.

Undoubtedly, the big announcement will be a shill for an MLM. Here's how I feel about that, Abbie.

Northern Exposure - General Discussion
BetyBee replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Northern Exposure
I just watched the episode where a Spirit Chief tries to help Ed to find his parents, or at least his father. (Season 2) After watching (and loving) Reservation Dogs, I was completely comfortable seeing a character engaged with a Spirit elder. I have no idea how I felt during the original run of the show. It was a sweet episode. I just love Ed's character. -

I may be jaded, but I think Gil and Kelly's values are fluid, and I doubt that they care about what their daughters wear, at least when they're gestating. -
Northern Exposure - General Discussion

That sounds good to me! We're only just starting Season 2 and only watch one episode at a time. I'm old, so I saw most of these episodes many years ago. I'm not certain that I watched it all the way through back then, though. It's a relaxing show to watch. -
Is anyone here familiar with Dr. Ramani Durvasula? She's an expert on narcissism and I'm finding her YT videos fascinating!

My super control freak oldest sister (the executor of Mom's will and trust) is being impossible. I think she's making poor decisions. I don't really care about stuff or even inheritance that much, but she's doing everything in the slowest, most un-wise way imo and she keeps claiming that what she wants is "Mom's wishes". We haven't seen anything in writing and she keeps wanting to hold in person meetings, with her typed up agenda and wants to control what we can talk about. She also wants to exclude spouses from these meetings (except for hers). I think she's being ridiculous. I'm very unhappy. She put off the memorial for over a month, for example. It makes the good-bye that much harder.😢

Amy probably thinks we would all benefit from HER parenting tips. She and King Pickle are raising a holy terror.

These 2 spend entirely too much time together, as it is. I can't imagine what they are hoping to achieve on this marriage retreat. C&E may be hoping to impart marital advice to the other couples! 🤮 I'm sure the other people in attendance work for a living and lead their lives as adults.
