  1. Is she taking questions about her eyebrows? Because I have some! It looks like she shaved them off and drew them back on. Or more likely, that Jill did that to her!
  2. @crazy8s - I can see why your husband is frustrated!
  3. I saw this on Reddit. Josiah and Lauren and their 3 kids are on the right hand side. James blurred the faces of Lauren and the kids, which Redditors were praising James for, since he was honoring their choice to step away from SM.
  4. I'd rather have a Target discount than a discount on chemical laden Plexus products!
  5. Sometimes @Jeeves we all watch a little trash tv! In fact, that is how we small talkers wound up here!
  6. The best wedding present Tim & Heidi could give themselves is to sell or rent their tooclosetothebarndo house and move by Heidi's family. Tim can do his handyman work there as well as in Ohio. He has never known parental love and I believe he can change from leading his life to please Jill and learn to make a happy life with his new family.
  7. This episode was an improvement over Crossing the Line. But these writers handwave/yadda yadda over anything too complicated or difficult to explain. I mean how did Margo get away from her handlers? Last week we were left to wonder how all of the injured burn victims got safely back to the main ship. This week, there was no mention of the injured and the dead. And there was little ill will to the strikers who caused the explosion. I don't really care whether the astroid capture works or not. I just hope they don't kill off Kelly or Dani. I would like to see nasty Ed die a hero's death, thereby enshrining his legacy.
  8. Our cat just scared the life out of us! He's almost 19 and very set in his ways. Normally at this time of day, he would be sleeping on either the loveseat or our bed. My husband looked everywhere. Then I looked everywhere, opening closets and the garage door, though he rarely goes in either. We sat down to eat breakfast and suddenly he came strolling out of the laundry room, where his litter box is. I had looked in there! He's black, so he's easy to miss. Last night I was folding clothes and I put some black leggings on top of him and laughed, because I thought HE was black leggings! I have a friend who found her cat dead under the dining room table one morning, so it's always been a fear of mine! Anyway, he might not be in the best of health, but he's hanging in there and I'm so glad! I can't take another loss right now.
  9. That last line cracked me up! But then, when I thought about it, Kaylee probably does think that she has an excellent education, thanks to Mahmo. πŸ™„
  10. I was sound asleep when 2024 rolled in. I wish every small talker a very Happy New Year and hope for a peaceful 2024, filled with love and personal growth. Lots of hugs too!
  11. I've never attended a Shen Yen ballet, but when my daughter lived in Prague and we visited, she and her husband took us to a cult run restaurant where they enjoyed the food. The staff was nice, but they always had a video going of their female leader. Keep your sales resistance up and enjoy the show. It sounds like a an interesting show.
  12. My eyes! Why isn't she wearing a mahdest, skin tight mermaid skirt and a hoodie blouse?! 😜
  13. We've been binge-ing this show for about a month and last watched this episode. I'm not enjoying the Mars story. I've been disgusted with selfish Ed for many episodes now. I hate the Miles story. I'm sorry, but that actor makes such awful faces, I just want to punch him. I really hope the next few episodes can redeem this show, but I don't feel very optimistic about it, because the writing has gotten very poor.
  14. That's a good point. Kaylee appeared to have no use for the nurses and doctors who helped to save her child's life. She pretty much shrugged off the death of the NICU twin as the "Lord's will". Now she's vague posting criticisms of Jonathan's aunt. I hold no hope for Kaylee escaping the Mahmo cult. It's just that I don't think she's capable of the kind of narcissism that Jill demonstrates. I think she's trying to me Mahmo's favorite. That will never happen, but she's useful to Mahmo as long as she's trying.
  15. I think Kaylee is a lost cause and is setting herself up for a miserable life. I don't think she can be Jill 2.0 because she's more of a people pleaser and doesn't possess Jill's narcissism. She's not bright enough to see what is happening in her own life. Jill and her clone wannabe are making digs at the Coverett family. I truly hope that Tim flips that house and moves closer to Heidi's family. I also think that September is too far away for the wedding. Jill could spoil his life by then. They should move the date up, change the locks on his house and rent it or sell it and go no contact with the Rods.
  16. Someone posted the following on Ellen Coverett's instagram page after she posted Christmas pictures: I have to say that Timmy is looking so happy and starting to look healthier since he’s been with Heidi and your family. We apparently aren't the only ones who see the difference in Tim. Unless that comment was from one of us! Ellen answered diplomatically, btw.
  17. My husband is installing a new kitchen faucet. He hates plumbing jobs and the swear words are flying! 😳 Peace will reign again when he's finished. 🀞
  18. Surely this is the nicest Christmas Tim has ever experienced. I'm glad he found a family that has embraced him. They seem to really care for him and made an effort to give him thoughtful gifts. All he has ever experienced in the past is everyone doing their best to please Mahmo. He never even knew that his feelings matter until he met Heidi.
  19. Site was down last night. Thankfully, it seems to be working fine now. Hope it stays that way! In other news, it's our 46th anniversary today. Woot!
  20. I certainly don't. But then, cooking is an everyday occurrence for me. For Jill, it's a very unique activity!
  21. I wonder if Jill was a light to her Amish neighbors, lighting the way to her KJV brand of Christianity and Plexus?
  22. If a lady really asked Jill that question, it was likely someone who has been fooled by Jill's ample use of filters, not someone who met her in real life. Yeah, she's aging. She only thinks she looks as young as her daughters.
