  1. I still have 2 more pages to read but I just had to say I serious doubt Kim is schizophrenic. I believe alien or demon possession is higher on the list of differential diagnoses. Then again, I don't know Kim or her medical history however (again) I doubt schizophrenia. I agree with most of what you wrote however schizophrenia is a specific disorder and there may be subcategories but the underlying disorder is schizophrenia. Unless the terminology has been recently changed, I think you may be thinking of drug induced psychosis. I'll stop here otherwise I will start rambling about boring medical stuff like dopamine and hallucinations and parkinson's medications
  2. I haven't finished reading all the comments but I wanted to say (before I forget): So Jill was full of shit about getting a bad edit and everyone was up in arms about it not being a bad edit and if you didn't say it or do it then they couldn't edit it negatively….but Heather is the exception to the rule? Both Heather and Bethanny can be bitchy and rude (and they both can be entertaining). Personally I've like Heather in the past (well, was neutral to good on her) but went off her an episode or two ago. However I don't hate her or even really dislike her…just gone off her (more neutral to negative). I like Bethanny even though she is flawed (she is human so flaws are normal). I feel bad for her and know many people with lots of money that have fucked up lives and are not happy. I feel sad for her past and current situation. I don't see her as a victim but I do have empathy for her. Even if she was happy with everything going well, I would still find her entertaining. All of the housewives are on a reality show and so are somewhat fake in what we see and hear but some of it is real. I see it as them embellishing the truth or something similar to that. Bethanny and Heather are both great compared to Kristen ("I'm pretty" the friend of super villain bg)
  3. way too many episodes….boring The only people I find slightly interesting are Ryan the douche (I don't think he is a douche) and Jacqueline (sp?). I wish they were paired up instead of passive aggressive Jessica and basement Ryan (waking up from anesthesia). WTF~ Jessica don't cook after bragging about cooking but Ryan ("douche") does the cooking and cleaning (and gave her both closets). Jessica's cat likes him. I think Jac's cat like basement Ryan but he annoys me more than the other Ryan and Sean (lol). Sean and Davina are annoying together but apart I am sure they are ok and have the usual flaws that people have. I don't think Sean has a personality disorder. Davina doesn't come off well on the show or on twitter but I don't like or dislike her any more or less than I like/dislike Sean. I feel more sorry for Sean since he has people claiming to be colleagues (bullsh*t) on social media trashing him and Davina retweeting negative stuff about him. Hopefully she learns that is not wise behavior.
  4. Fabulous top-notch acting (especially Rachel and her boss) and gorgeous cinematography. I liked the complexity of Rachel's character and her boss. The dark twisted nature of the show was perfect and I liked how they mixed humor in with the darkness. I'm enjoying this show more than this seasons The Bachelorette. This show, despite being fiction, seems more real (yeah it had funny OTT moment that were exaggerations but it worked) than this current season of The Bachelorette. Excellent pilot.
  5. I love your idea of future seasons featuring Survivor and Housewives style shows;-)
  6. I think it was messed up editing just like the editors giving Heather the bitch face when Bethanny arrived, they edited Heather's comments so she sounded hypocritical (stop having fun with a friend, no, go have fun with a friend). Last week I was going off Heather now I can't tell since the editing is so unreliable. I think both Heather and Bethanny can be selfish/caring and bitchy/supportive. The obvious (in retrospect) editing makes the show itself seem like an unreliable narrator….hard to explain.I suspect that guy was looking around wondering why Heather was throwing shade on him for that article (I guess he didn't suspect that the producers put her up to throwing him under the bus) edit: and not the same as "an"
  7. Didn't Heather call Bethanny out on goofing around with Sonja at the table during dinner. Then after arguing with Bethanny, Heather essentially told her to go have fun talking to others. LOL, that is what she was doing when Heather got all pissy. I guess she worried that Bethanny was missing her (Heather's) roasting of that guy. Go away Kristen! Leave! The only thing memorable about you is that annoying voice saying "I'm pretty" (and the mismatched shoes, Elvis obsession, cute kid….ok, 4 things). I wouldn't be a fan of Kristen even if I didn't care about her friendship with skanky bg. Team (sticking with the 90s/00s terminology) Kyle/Bethanny is awesome. Not liking team bg/kristen.
  8. Illness and disorder are often used as synonyms. The DSM covers a variety of disorders including mood disorders (like anxiety disorder), thought disorders (like schizophrenia), and personality disorders (like antisocial personality disorder). Personally, I consider "mental illness" a dated phrase. I do agree that we can not diagnose Sean--not enough data and the data that is presented is edited and not reliable.
  9. I forgot sonja defrauded people. Was that recent? In other words, did Heather help Sonja despite her defrauding people? If so then Heather only cares about how Sonja treated her (heather) and so the ill will comes from a place of selfishness and not from a place of "defender of justice". This HW series shouldn't keep criminals on the show. I mean recent criminals who committed acts of violence, fraud, theft….not talking about a public intoxication (even though I want Kim off BH---I'll go with use of a lethal weapon--Kingsley as a reason to fire her). I can't stand Theresa from NJ or Porsha from ATL. Did Sonja knowingly defraud people or was it due to neglect or ignorance. Sorry, I don't remember the details about it.
  10. I've completely gone off Heather. Bossy bitch who wishes ill will on her "friend" Sonja. I realize they aren't friends but I don't like her throwing shade on her delusional colleague. Bitch couldn't even pick Target or Macy's. I'm liking Bethanny and can feel her pain. If she is acting then give her an Emmy. I'm sure people are not polite all the time with their therapist especially when dealing with touchy/sensitive issues. It seemed healthy and natural that she got upset when he pushed her and got confrontational and then started to deal with the issue. I'm sure there is projection and a whole host of other defenses that go up and a good therapist helps with getting past all that (but I defer to people who do therapy or have had therapy…though I am sure I need it…lol)
  11. Wise words! Both are fake and real. The fake: both girls knew in advance who was going to be The Bachlorette. I would not be surprised if Britt knew she would get a story (just a guess). All of the scenes of both Britt and Kaitlyn are highly edited. Laila Ali is a much better catch than Kaitlyn. LOL
  12. Kaitlyn reminds me of a gremlin…something about her proportions and teeth/ears/mouth/lips/body. She is a good match for this group of busted men (maybe 1 or 2 ok guys). I swear there is a hint of porno music (70s funk) in the background sometimes when she is on but I may be imaging it. I was unhappy with her having the boxing and then not even checking on Jared after he got hurt. She should of saved the rose for him rather than rewarding the "hunk of meat" (her words). Jared looks like a rat with his scruffy facial hair but overall is decent looking (except from the slight rat like appearance). I thought Kaitlyn was going to laugh at some of the guys sappy stories. It was like she was thinking "cue sad story blah blah blah". That underwater PHOTO SHOOT was a lame date to take a guy on. I liked his ideas of spear fishing better. Photo shoot seems so vain and then to have to be trendy and say "everyone" is doing it underwater. Ugh! Fake Brit seems genuinely good hearted whereas fake Kaitlin seems trashy and selfish. I'm sure they both have good and annoying qualities. Kaitlyn's creepy appearance distracts me. She isn't ugly and is sometimes pretty but there is something about her appearance that distracts me and not in a good way. I don't want to comment on her personality since I don't want to give spoilers. She can be funny but one of her jokes (I don't think it was shown) threw Britt under the bus (meow). Girl wants FOUR kids and she is 29 or 34 or something like that…I guess she isn't going to want time to get to know the baby daddy cause she needs to get started soon. She was always going to be The Bachelorette once the producers found out about her relationship with Nick. The fact that all the pre-arranged dates are Kaitlyn style dates AND that Nick is coming on the show, just shows the amount of bullshit they are feeding us….She knew she was going to be TB and Nick knew as well to get time off from work and now where to meet them. Not really a spoiler since the preview showed Nick showing up and that boxing date and comedy club date yell Kaitlyn and not Britt.
  13. Well she never wanted to marry any of them and just wanted to fuck a few of them. She has to keep the show going long enough for them to have enough footage for enough episodes so she can't get rid of all of them. She shouldn't have been TB but at the same time I think she was picked because of her relationship with Nick.I wouldn't be surprised if Nick put the water in his own suitcase so he could play victim.
  14. I bet he doesn't even remember the water on the suits after he gets REJECTED for the second time on tv AFTER SEX. I feel bad for him but I suspect he gets a lot of "pity fucks". After knowing his history, then if Kaitlyn didn't hate the guy then she should have agreed to date him and then off camera break up with him at a lunch date the next day (or dinner after filming) and agree to play the girlfriend for a week or something. Seriously, that is the least she could have done for him.
  15. I still like Ryan ("douche", not "basement") more than Jessica but they are both fake imo
  16. I wish the guys knew that she was already emotionally intimate with Nick prior to the show and that she made out with Nick (now physically & emotionally intimate) the very night that she first mentioned the possibility (aka foregone conclusion) that he would join the show. I'd feel bad for all those other guys thinking they may have a chance at a real relationship but then I remembered they are most likely just famewhores (rare few genuine ones imo) on a "reality" show. Is it Big Brother or Survivor that has produced more genuine and more long lasting relationships?
  17. Rodney--it is stupid to piss off an entire state, especially one with a lot of people. Texas has large densely populated cities and small rural towns. I initially did not want to move to Texas due to stereotypes but now I can't imagine living in any other state (I totally get the love and pride for Texas). I love the independent spirit of the people and the state in general. I also love New York, Maryland, Florida, California, Utah and so many other fabulous states~in fact I haven't been to a state that I didn't like. However, I only want to live in Texas. I like the saying "I wasn't born in Texas but got here as fast as I could". My breakdown of the big cities in TX: Austin is a college town/city~a party town that supports "weird" (keep it weird). Decent music scene and a great city overall but the traffic sucks! San Antonio is a great place to raise a family. Small town feel (slow) but it is actually a big city. Dallas & Houston are more cosmopolitain. Texas: everything is bigger and better here;-) Fiercely independent and proud.
  18. I like realitysteve's spoilers;-) So Kaitlin and Nick were face-timing each other while the Chris season aired. It sounds like Nick reached out to her so I guess he wasn't keeping his distance from TB (didn't he want to get over it or something like that). They liked each other during their face-time and during all this Kaitlin finds out she is TB (she knew she would be The Bachelorette and they cast it so that she would be "chosen"). It sounds like Nick also found out early (before broadcast) since he got time off from work (he works?) to be on the show. How did he get on the show? I'm sure the show will make it seem impulsive but how would he know where they are filming. I guess he could have contacted the show but if the face-timing happened (I believe it). I think they had a face-time "thing" going on and she got him on the show and I can see production loving it. If Nick didn't have sexual hang-ups/dysfunction already then I bet he does now….lol (I know that is mean but why the fuck would he come on this show again after his last experience)
  19. After reading all the spoilers, I am finally looking forward to this season! lol @ Nick being dumped again after sex
  20. I JUST found out the winner and am THRILLED! In retrospect, I liked this season of Survivor now that I know the ending;-)
  21. Toxicology screens can vary. Also some substances clear the system faster than others. Marijuana is fat soluble and you can test positive for it for a long time (weeks to months) whereas cocaine clears the system in a few days. Also the amount used can make a difference. In health care in my area (TX) a random drug scree in a urine drug of abuse screen (UDOA) which includes cocaine, amphetamines/methamphetamines (Ritalin/Adderal test positive as does street meth), canniboids (sp?), opiates, benzos, TCAs (not sure why these old school antidepressants are tested in a UDOA), and I think LSD/pilocybin (sp? for pcp). I do remember that GHB, ecstasy and solvents like toluene are NOT part of the standard drug screen. I think Kim had a serum (blood) drug screen done in California and I'm not sure what is standard for police testing. I would have thought they were just checking an ETOH (alcohol) level since it sounds like she didn't cooperate with a breathalyzer. I don't know the legal system and just have experience with healthcare (not in California). There are more specific drug test and most commonly they are used with testing opiates. Examples for use: To make sure you are taking your hydrocodone (norco/vicodin) and not selling it on the street (taking a tramadol will give you positive opiates but more specialized testing will show that it is tramadol rather than hydrocodone. To make sure your positive opiate test is really methadone and not heroin. I would think toluene isn't commonly abused so it may not be worth the cost of testing unless high suspicious based on symptoms and/or occupation (exposure at work). I guess a kid unconscious with some glue or something in the hand would be high alert. Are those "intervention" videos reenactments? You can't replace dead neurons (brain cells)! Rare exception is that the hippocampus (area of the brain) can have neurogenesis (create brain cells for that area). New connections from surviving brain areas can help compensate for some cell death but that just involves new axons (connections from brain cells to brain cells). Malnutrition, which is common with alcohol and substance abuse, can cause just as much havoc on the brain as direct toxic effects from alcohol and "drug abuse". Thiamine deficiency (vitamin B one deficiency) can be seen in alcoholic and causes a dementia (along with eye movement, balance and language problems)
  22. I thought Andy sucked at hosting reunions but this guy was horrible. It was obvious he didn't like Gina or even Gamble. He love Pettifleur, Janet, Lydia and basically let Pettifleur's temper tantrum dominant the reunion and kept cycling everything back to her and how did she feel. Bitch, go home! Pettifleur seemed drunk and/or on pills. For once I didn't mind obnoxious loud mouth trashy Jackie freaking out on someone. Lydia was irrelevant and she should not have been aloud to interrupt Gamble and Gina. I'm glad they shut her down and loved the very end when Gina said something like "whatever Ms. Seventy-OneTH" lol Manuela seems like a desperate thirsty snob and I love that Gamble called her out for being jealous and wanting Gamble's spot on the show!!! She exposed Manuela's thirst and was the only one who didn't seem afraid of her. I do wonder what Maneula has on Janet (you know she has tons of dirt on her). Why the hell would then bring on another team janet person and leave Gamble and Gina with just each other? I think Pettifleur seems broken and weak (pathetic bitch +/- drunk bitch = bitch, bye). However she is good for reality tv due to her comedic value. I would say the same for Lydia the Moron who spouts off comedy gold like "seventy-oneth" but Lydia is just a one line here and there whereas PF's entire party was laughable. However PF casts a poor light on strong financially independent women so between the two of them, keep Lydia who is basically a kept man toy I'm still a fan of Gamble and Gina. Chyka is the classiest. Janet is a shit stirrer and the rest I either end up laughing at them or getting annoyed with them. bad host imo
  23. In general one can't "grow" new brain cells but there are some exceptions~~IIRC the hippocampus and some other areas of the brain do continue to generate neurons (these areas are the exception to the rule)
  24. When has Blair not been right and Hayley been correct other then maybe once in one of the very early episodes. She wasn't right in Amsterdam since she didn't know H-Street. She mentioned it and a ton of other stuff but didn't "know" it. Transcripts of their dialogue has been posted on this site.Blair stays silent because he realized long ago it was pointless to talk to her when she is irrationally yelling and having a tantrum. She screeches like a fucking banshee when she is wrong or right so it is best to just tune her out. ha ha ha…she is why they lost and all her bitching and moaning about listening to her bit them in the ass. I wanted Blair to win but didn't want Hayley to win. I'm ok with the outcome and like the way they lost (Hayley's fault). Has she owned up to her horrible behavior and tantrums? No! It takes losing the race by an obvious mistake that only she made to own up to ONE thing--what about the entire season of her childish tantrums. Even with this last mistake, she tried to make it Blair's mistake by screaming at him to help with directions in the taxi to the place she thought was the clue. I'm so glad he didn't try to help with the directions to the building she pointed out (the wrong location)~~she would have tried to blame him or shifted part of the blame on him. I hope Blair is on the show again but WITHOUT Hayley!
  25. Listening to Hayley caused them to lose the race
