I am tired of all of these business storylines. Thinking back to watching soaps for 40+ years and were they always like this? Maybe because GH was set in a hospital it was more varied but even that became Mob Central. Elena is a nurse but besides her, Chance and Sharon, is every single character dependent on NE, CW or Jabot for a paycheck? People can have interesting personal lives without corporate intrigue?

Yes. Plus Chelsea has been in a stable relationship with the same guy for years. Kail’s kids will be juggling schedules with 4 different men. So I don’t consider her situation nearly the same. From what I saw, Chris is not the dad and has been trolling her on SM about trying to hide this kid.

Daniele is a real harridan. She really is lording her citizenship over Yohan. That is all I got. Isabel seems OK but the fact Gabe was sending money puts up red flags. Same thing with Jeymi.

And I get that, even as a “senior citizen” who is a little portly herself! (And I think if there was a doughy, middle-aged man, we would be saying the same things.) But she (or a he) can still be in a love story, no? My guess is the demographics trend pretty old for soaps. Characters really don’t need to be put out to pasture once they are over 55-60. We don’t have to see graphic sex scenes - wish I could erase that awful romp with Devon and Abby. I dunno. I think the fans would go for a romantic partner for Traci.

I have to say I think this is the worst crew of any BD show with the exception of Rachel, who is still weird but seems to be one of the few people on TV who have actually reformed themselves. She was so bad her first season and now seems to maintain her professionalism - does not engage in the drunken nights away. I really don’t care to zoom in on some guy’s erection after receiving a lap dance from a girl with a terrible dye job. And Ross is just gross - nothing attractive about him. I don’t find any of the guys attractive, in fact. Alisa is just a bitch and Hayley’s crass.

Is Teeter supposed to be from Texas? To me her “accent” is terrible. Have lived 45 years in Texas and have never heard anyone speak that way. To me the only time she was remotely compelling is when they tried to kill her in the river. Totally expendable character.

So I have binge watched this show the past week from the start and I find her completely repulsive. I don’t really like the actress’s choices, either. My God does she ever just walk instead of sashaying everywhere she goes?

I think some ways she is beautiful but something about her mouth and the way she talks seems off. Ruins her look for me. (And I have coworkers who think similarly.)

I like Taylor well enough but I just don’t think she has any charisma. She is famous. That’s it. I think people objected to the treatment of her more than actually loving her. Also - watching the broadcast last night I was reminded yet again why I really dislike the racial/gender aspects of how some play the game. For Taylor to not nominate Jasmine because of some sense of female and racial solidarity is just stupid. (And, yeah. Cannot blame Turner for his wtf moment there.)

I would love to see Kyle get his comeuppance when he mentions that someone else did the dumbest move ever (admittedly it was) and then he blows up his own game in large part because of a showmance with woman too stupid to know the difference between Denmark and Newark. I also LOATHE the PDA, etc on these shows. Have some self-control, you exhibitionists. You can have a romance without sex, esp if you are never alone and never not on camera. Just gross. My guess would be Christian just based on his name.

Targeting houseguests or making alliances based exclusively on race was something many people objected to last year with the CO. To me it is distasteful no matter who does it. Maybe some think it is acceptable since the CO got praise for it.

I thought she had a makeup person, too. But her makeup was horrible - her eye makeup was so heavy that is all you saw - not sure I could actually see her eyes.

The character is so one-dimensional. She is the spunky vixen who loves fiercely. @@ Man … how ‘bout dressing her in jeans and a tshirt occasionally, particularly in a park. lol. (Diane always heading to the park in a dress and heels. lol) But they *think* she has layers with a tough exterior but yet pshe feels so deeply. The show would be better with her gone. And the dresses are so not flattering. She is about my age and she looks way better than me but you are right - her skin is not young and taut so the revealing dresses actually make her look older and desperate.

My God is MS a terrible actress. She is worse now than when she started! It is so bad it is like Phyllis never has organic, genuine conversations.
