If she is gonna put her kid on a reality show and he is old enough to know what it means to say something on camera (which he is), then they are not off-limits. God knows people have gone after Rinna’s obnoxious kids. Pretty sure Delilah was about 16 with the “chub chub” comment. Plus the situations are totally different. Erika was a total bitch to him. He didn’t do anything to deserve that so people were right to call her out. In this instance, he dragged his mom on camera. Whether it was deserved or not, I don’t know. But either she comes across poorly or he does.

Easier to make your “own” money with vanity businesses, perhaps, when you are getting $3.5mil/year from your ex.

This show is just so boring I find myself either not finishing it or not even bothering to put it on. And I have been watching since the 80s! I feel like it is the same old shit - they are bringing back old characters (Mamie, Danny*) but cramming them in these awful “business” storylines. I am sooo tired of hearing about who is trying to buy into a company or wrestling for control. At least back in the day they were about product development - Brash & Sassy, the face cream, Restless Style, that awful development in Wisconsin (the name escapes me but I think it caused an earthquake lol) but even if it was bad it was different. Now one corporate intrigue storyline runs into the next and I cannot tell the difference. Does anyone really care about Diane and Jack? Let alone for the 8th celebration or whatever for their engagement/wedding/reception. *My husband walked by when Michael Damian was on and he said “My god. Does that guy not represent the aging soap star?” At 60ish? Maybe he ought to show a LITTLE bit of grey to go with a what we will call not exactly a youthful face! Makes him look haggard.

I can imagine getting the slide out will be a challenge!

It has its place if done right but does not eat up the show. Honest to God I feel like this has been all it has been about for 2 years.

This show is so dull that I start it, get distracted, and half the time don’t care to go back to it. And what did I miss? “Corporate intrigue.” That is not why I watch a soap! At least Arya possibly being deaf had nothing to do with “corporate intrigue.” Almost every romance even makes it a major point in the relationship: Nate/Victoria (gross), Ashley/Tucker, Diane/Jack, Audra/Kyle, Nick/Sally. It seems like for MONTHS they have been only talking about their effin’ “media” companies - Newman, SNA, CW. The 80s called and wants Wall Street back. Victor Newman =/= Gordon Gekko

Good Lord I know it is talked about here but Sharon Case looks worse every day. She needs to leave her face alone! She has always had a killer body and still does but her face with the fillers! No way would a young man as attractive as Chance waste his time with a woman who looks like she needs an appointment STAT with Paul Nassif.

God this show is so boring. I have been very busy and have not had time to watch my DVR and when I do, it cannot hold my attention so I just turn it off. Check here for major developments. There is not a single coupling that I enjoy.

Ashley has potential but she is her own worst enemy. She does seem to be the ONLY one who works towards having a career that does not depend on TM notoriety. But then she insists on acting like Bar’s choices are not super dysfunctional. Like yeah they are bad but not CRAZY bad. She needs to get away from him but I think they genuinely love each other. He has such a screwed up family and background.

But being called a dick is not flattering. You are basically calling someone an asshole, which is similar to c*nt, I think. None of it is nice! I don’t like TJ or his family but Kimberly sure doesn’t worry about giving his people a bad impression of her. lol

The thing about Ashley is it seems she has a terrible temper. She is going into a profession where she has to take some shit sometimes. It is not a career for weak people and I consider someone with a hair-trigger temper “weak.” She might find it difficult to keep a job.

What is with these people constantly patting themselves on the backs about what good jobs they do parenting? Except for the truly awful ones like Farrah and Jenelle, I think most of them that do parent are decent enough at it in terms of the kids are housed, clean, supervised, fed. (Amber does not parent the child we see so I am not counting her in here.) I have been a parent for 24 years and I am not sure my husband and I have ever sat around talking about how well we do this gig. Cheyenne waxing eloquent about how she co-parents, Maci and Taylor and their *very purposeful* (for the camera!) family talks, etc. Just blech.

Taylor explained to People that she would be purplish because of the mix of red/blue blood until her 3rd surgery.

OK I am just watching this but the misinformation Maci is spewing about PCOS pisses me off. I feel like she is using it just to get on her soapbox about the SCOTUS decision. - signed, 25+ years dxed “cyster” And now deeper into the series I see Maci is so desperate for a story that she drags politics into it again with the Uvalde school shooting. Listen, Maci. Every parent in the U.S. thinks about school shootings but I have never met one who felt the need to personally meet with Moms Demand Action. 🙄 ————— These people are gonna ruin Ryder. She is an adorable child but absolutely spoiled. You can dote on children without making them think they are the center of the universe.

Kimberly did not seem that bad until she wigged out about the apartment. It was like a switch went off. For someone who lived in India for a year without running water, it seems like she would be more realistic about building standards in developing countries. I agree with her about the “baseboards” - why not finish them out? But if you only have the money to half-ass and cobble together an apartment, what do you expect? Their homes will not look like they were done by Chip and Joanna. Both she and TJ and are not very likable.

The people in this cast seem awful. With Kenny, however, I think he said an issue with home was Hannah’s school is 45 minutes away. I don’t know if there are not closer, decent options. But that is 3 hrs in the car every day with round-trips in the morning and afternoon. That would get old very quickly. (OTOH, I think Armando’s family has been VERY involved in Hannah’s life with his sister and her kids playing prominent roles. For Kenny to manipulate Hannah by showing her only the fun, shiny stuff of living in a city when she does not fully understand crime, etc. is pretty shitty. She already moved away from them. Taking her even farther seems wrong.) TJ’s mother seems like a real peach, laughing at her soon-to-be American daughter-in-law for having the temerity to want a white wedding dress. Much is made about the insensitivity of Americans in this franchise but that train runs both ways. I had a friend years ago with a very serious Indian boyfriend. He eventually broke up with her because his plans included one day moving back and he knew she could never be a traditional Indian wife. Seriously took this episode for me to fully realize why he did that. lol She insisted she could but he knew better. If my son was moving off with Mary, I would do whatever I could do to stop him. Because if a young man treated a young woman the way Mary treats Brandan, every alarm bell would be ringing that this guy is manipulative and abusive.

Yep. I was thinking of them putting Chelsea, with zero formal training, as Creative Director of a global fashion brand in a Milwaukee suburb. (Hey, LA writers … places are different from L.A.) Same thing with Sally and weren’t they reworking CW interiors? As if it is easy to move from clothes to business interiors? Now I am not denying that some people just have style and can pull clothing and also interior looks together. But these are businesses that you would think would hire vetted professional firms. It is not like me asking my stylish friend to run to Marshall’s with me to re-do my bedroom. Why can’t one of them just be an interior designer with a small office next to Rexx Rugs? Nope. Cannot do that. No corporate intrigue. When my aforementioned son asks me why I watch this crap, I tell him I don’t know. Because I have been watching it for 35 years? Habit?

Speaking of stupid names … Adam bringing up Restless Style. Have not heard that name in a while. This show has always glommed onto trends in the most inane ways. Remember Wisconsin being a fashion hub with “launch parties” and “pop-ups?” Same thing with Omegasphere and “gaming platforms.” When I told my 18 year old son about Chelsea’s game to help people with their mental health, he thought it was the dumbest thing. I am sure it will rival Dark Souls or Overwatch. 🙄

And she would not participate in phone sex if she is nun material, it seems. I think that is a lie to make her storyline more dramatic.
