  1. This is a perfect example of why I’m thankful Meghan is relegated to punditry and not in charge of any major decision-making process. Thank you for not engaging her, Whoopi.
  2. I think it was ::gulp:: some of the brain matter from Trevor. Poor dog, they are not going a good job of keeping him well fed.
  3. So is anyone going to tell Lady Baxter that her rash assumptions and haggling caused them to kill a boy and the majority of his family for nothing? Not that they would care. Apparently, she enables Carlo who is not the smartest in that family. If Adam is dumb enough to show up for dinner at their house then there are no words.
  4. Chris Samuels left the stage almost looking like a bigger asshole than his wife.
  5. I think it’s interesting that Gina is the one owning going down this route while Jimmy seems so reluctant or as if he can’t fully buy the story. Even with his minion telling him over and over that it was a hit and they need to retaliate and he’s saying it doesn’t make sense it’s a hit from something Carlo did seemingly years ago. Gina just wants blood.
  6. Andy, Monique isn’t reactive to the situation because she’s most likely a sociopath.
  7. This. Plus, Monique is coming off of physically assaulting a cast member last season and bullying said cast member via social after the incident. If I were Monique I would have been contrite about physically assaulting someone and said, “we can agree to disagree, but I shouldn’t have put my hands on her”. Instead she doubles down and comes with a receipt book in an effort to try and spin the story. The messiness is what these women live for and are paid to do, but Monique is such an ugly person on the inside that she wants to burn it all down. And do it without caring for her reputation. Who wants to buy anything from her, support her or befriend her. Certainly not I. I wouldn’t want to be six feet (pandemic aside) within distance.
  8. Monique is such a simple-minded individual and she’s never held a legit job in her life, so all of her worth is tied into being married. And it’s clear shes never held a position and her podcast is tanking by the fact that she thinks a good use of time is pulling together a binder of “receipts”. She needs to go after this and I hope the ladies refuse to film with her again next season.
  9. Michael is a piece of trash posing as a human being. That ending note about their marriage being stronger than ever? If that’s what you need to tell yourself to keep the roof over your head, Ashley. Won’t be returning if Monique does. She is a delusional mess with no sense self-awareness.
  10. Monique and I are about the same age and I can tell you that I don’t care how annoying anyone is, I’m not going to fight them. Walk away, stay away and get off the show if you just can’t interact peacefully. This.
  11. Same! I nearly fell off my couch laughing because it was so dramatic. The other people in the winery looking like “what kind of fuckery is this?” would have been me. Ashley...whatever you need to say to yourself to help you sleep next to this man every night, girl.
  12. I know this is awful to say, but I hope this means Beth is off my screen forever.
  13. Amen to this entire post. Even at her most lovey-dovey with Rip and troubled teenage years, I can't muster much sympathy for her character. I've seen a lot of people advocating that she's a "strong woman" and I've even seen T-shirts praising her attitude and I wonder what world I'm living in. And her little snit with the assistant in tonight's episode? Yeah Beth, you firing her from her entry-level job because she dared bring your spoiled ass some tea during a tense time is really going to toughen her up. And calling someone names when you're pissed doesn't make you tough - it's actually the opposite. I still hope Willa Hayes gives her a run for her money until her and Kevin Costner come out on top. When Monica got into the car with the guy, I was really worried about her and wondering what she was doing. I was happy that it was a sting operation and saddened they found so many other remains, and this is the reality and not just for show. Walker has balls - he didn't even leave the state! I wonder if Rip is going to let his dark side take over. The only person I care about is Colby and I hope he's still alive. He literally doesn't bother anyone. Oh, and if I were Jamie I'd say F that family.
  14. Pretty short episode. So now John knows the secret about Beth and Jamie, so now what? What Jamie did was absolutely despicable and to snatch that away from Beth was horrific. Yet John takes no responsibility for being such an aloof and unapproachable father that his daughter couldn't come to him? I'm still suspending belief that any clinic would move forward with the procedure on a young and seemingly affluent teenaged white girl with the last name Dutton. Ideally a character like Beth's would go and get therapy and try to finally heal from what happened and stay away from Jamie altogether, but I guess family drama means they'll need to keep stirring the pot with the secret being revealed. I'm also not a Beth fan and I don't find her to be any heroine, but that IMO. I hope Willa gives her a run for her money. The plot with Sila was sad. I was holding out hope she'd be found alive, but I know all too often these stories don't end that way. It's reminiscent of Wind River and I'm glad they keep a focal point on this issue. It needs to be amplified as much as possible. Rainwater was magnificent in that conversation with Monica.
  15. The friendship between Molly and Issa is so unnerving to me because I had an friendship just like that. My friend was the Molly: thought she was superior, smarter and I was always in the wrong. That tit for tar friendship lasted for years until I had a breakthrough like Issa. And you know what? I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulder and don’t regret closing that door. I know Issa and Molly will eventually have to become cool again for the show, but I wouldn’t blame Issa if she shut the door completely. Andrew is going to shut the door and I can’t say I blame him. Molly doesn’t have as much leeway with him as she thinks and he won’t allow himself to be pitted between his brother and her. Plus, him seeing how she is with Issa has to be hella concerning. I’m meh on Issa and Lawrence back together because I feel like it’s been there and done that. I’m willing to see how it plays out though.
  16. I also had a hard time believing Molly’s blow up and believing she wouldn’t wait until later to say something. The only thing I could think is she saw Issa’s night had been a success, she was jealous about it and this was her moment to do something to cut Issa down to size. Either way, it was beyond wrong. I don’t see how they can move past this and in real life they’d stop being cool with each other, but this is show land so I’m sure they’ll eventually come back together.
  17. Completely agree as well. I also think by the end of the series, she realized how negatively her actions really impacted Pearl and she was starting to make some amends. Her love for Pearl remained no matter what and I think she realized she needed to make some changes out of that love for Pearl. Old Mia wouldn’t have gone to her parents house in a million years and she’s been really shitty in the past, but it’s time to face the truth. I think Elena is an ignorant, racist (you’ll find someone that’s a better fit, my ass) wench and her kids had to live in her image. Even if Izzy ran back home, it’s likely not without conditions of conforming her personality and image to fit in with the rest of the family to be fully accepted.
  18. It wasn’t the best finale to me but I didn’t completely hate it. I was internally cheering when Mia told Elena that it wasn’t her daughter that had the abortion but it was Lexi. While Mia has been a selfish mother, I did appreciate her understanding a bit more how her decisions fractured her relationship with Pearl and her (tiny) first steps towards remedying them. I’m very skeptical that Mrs. Ryan’s mind would immediately think it was Mia calling. I know she’d always be on their mind, but it had been 15 years. Mia and Pearl ending up at her parent’s house. Maybe that’s a sign that they’ll stay for awhile. No words for Bebe. The last scene with her and the baby in a car in a parking lot in the cold didn’t bode well for the future to me. Bill living his best middle-age life when he comes home to find his house on fire. I know this is just a show, but thinking about Izzy going out on her own at such a young age made me feel somewhat sad. I didn’t know if she even took money, but just wondering how she’d survive, especially starting out. You know it would be rough for her, but she felt it was better than there knowing she was unloved.
  19. Gus could’ve hired Skinny Pete and Badger. It must be nice being Don Eladio. You get to sit around being flattered with your underlings kicking cash back to you all the time. Kim has gone from unlikeable (never cared for her) to insufferable for me. Will need to mute when she comes back next season.
  20. Agh, Jenna sure folded like a lawn chair with being ready to bring Carrie down to then aiding her to providing clues to finding the asset. I was chucking at Carrie’s face when Jenna told her she was quitting because it was reading “weak as hell”. Jenna just wasn’t about that life like Carrie. Which brings me to Carrie. I’ve watched this show from the beginning so I’ve seen her batshit, but she really believes killing Saul in exchange for the black box will save the world and somewhat exonerate her? I’m hoping Saul now sees it coming and there will be another way, because I don’t want this to be the way Saul goes out. I wouldn’t put it past Carrie for one second to kill him if she thinks she’ll “win”. Also, how is Carrie inheriting an asset when she isn’t even a government employee anymore? I feel like her clearance would be in shambles at this point. Zabel and Mr. President continue to be clueless idiots. I rolled my eyes at their “fuck yeah” proclamation.
  21. I’m at the point where I don’t care who burned the Richardson’s house down as long as it burned down, preferably with Elena in it. Save Pacey and the kids. Elena is a rotten, putrid, narcissistic racist so there’s nothing else to say about her. Mia, while I don’t think she goes out of her way to hurt people, has a very warped sense of helping those she cares about. Her believing that her art would sustain her and she could live on very little as a transient deprived Pearl of so much. She doesn’t understand that it wasn’t about the money, but it was about being able to provide Pearl with stability. She has been way too selfish for too long to understand that. Good on Brian for letting Lexie go. High school romance aside, he wanted to stick it out with her but he couldn’t get past her gross sense of entitlement to move on. Unlike Pearl, he didn’t have rose-colored glasses when it came to the Richardsons.
  22. Agreed. When he stopped at the door and looked back at Hector, he gave a look like he didn’t know if he could pull out of this one. It was interesting to see that facade of being overly-confident drop for a few seconds. Even he must know he’s treading on thin ice. Kim standing up to Lalo was a bit too Wendy Byrd (Ozark) for me and in real life, I don’t know if her speech would convince him to back off. She can’t die right now, so I guess he had to move on. I was interested in her fight with Jimmy about quitting at the firm. Is she expecting Jimmy to continue being a friend of the cartel to support her pro bono work? If so, she’s better prepare for more visits from Lalo-types. I really like Mike using the “fear as an effective motivator” to Gus, which is what Gus told Mike in BB. I wonder if something happening with Nacho becomes the catalyst for Gus coming around to Mike’s line of thinking there. I felt like Nacho when he thought he was finally rid of Lalo and Lalo jumps back into the car. Lalo is truly the annoying relative that never leaves.
  23. Even little PJ is over it all. I was cracking up at her refusing to smile at her hot dog king daddy and sweet but dim mother. She’s just wants them to get it together. I honestly didn’t have a side in the Todd/Kandi argument. Kandi is probably so used to operating at this pace for so long, she doesn’t know how to slow down. Todd may have a point, but his bruised ego is speaking volumes as well. I still can’t understand him not wanting Kandi to give his daughter money for HER BIRTHDAY. Even if Kandi wasn’t well off, giving her money for her birthday shouldn’t be an issue. I really feel for Kaela in that regard because she knows he’s not going to treat Ace and Blaze (🤦🏾‍♀️) the same way when they’re older. Kandi wouldn’t let him. Not going there with Nene...
  24. These bastards killed Kenny. Poor Nico. That was a sad sight. Not going to lie, Villianelle’s wedding looked amazing before it all went to hell. At least they sent her off in style.
  25. Finally caught up on the series this weekend and thought this flashback episode did a good job of showing how Elena and Mia's past shaped who they are today. I thought Tiffany Boone did a great job mimicking Kerry Washington's facial expressions and while she's not a perfect look-a-like, she was believable. It seems that Mia grew up in a restrictive and religious household which left her naive and yearning to be free when she arrived in New York. It was shitty of her renege on her deal with the Ryans (although the way they went about approaching a surrogate was beyond slimy) and Pearl has paid the price throughout her life. I liked the montage showing them on the road throughout the years as Pearl was growing up. I did feel for Elena as she was trying to manage with a screaming baby Izzy and the other kids started crying. Her coping mechanism to call her ex-boyfriend to try and relive her carefree times wasn't the best choice and it was extremely selfish, but I could understand she just needed get away. I agree. At the very least, Lexie and her family are vipers and Mia had them pegged correctly from the start. Despite Mia's faults, I honestly had problem with her remarks to Lexie. She knows Pearl could get run over by a car tomorrow and Lexie might shed a tear, but she'd move on. She couldn't put her name down at the clinic because of how it would affect her future. For Pearl, black daughter of a working-class artist, it won't matter. It's probably the first (and perhaps the last) time anyone was going to call Lexie out on her privileged behavior, so not feeling sorry for her.
