I thought about this a little (not too much, don’t worry) and I wonder if Christina Hendricks being EP also affected the plot lines. Her character was made of Teflon until the very end and made out to be some criminal genius even though she wasn’t very smart. It’s conjecture in my part – but I wonder if having this feeling like her character was this “bad ass boss bitch” caused the storyline to falter. I mean if you compare Beth to the Tony Soprano or Walter White anti-hero trope, many people stayed with them in their journeys because there were consequences for their actions and you saw them wrestle with conflict. Beth? She’s just unlikeable and downright entitled – especially when it came to the other women. Anyway, I know the writing was…not the best, but I’m wondering if there were other factors that made the final season(a) of Good Girls this hot mess. Especially when they started on such a strong and promising path.

I came here because I was confused so I guess I’m in the same boat. Why did Annie have to go away to prison? Where were Annie’s prints on the gun from? Best thing I can say is that I hope Ruby and Stan left. No way did Beth deserve that ending. She didn’t deserve to remain standing after everything. And no way was she smart or cunning enough to be a boss.

As always, she looked silly trying to whip up her faux outrage. Whoopi’s face before they went to break said it all.

Pin it on minorities instead of focusing on the low vaccination rates in the red states. Hence her little dog whistle that the people in the Bronx “must watch Tucker Carlson”. Can’t wait until she fades into obscurity with her obnoxious drivel.

This woman is exhausting and I’m not even on set… First she says don’t make this political and turns around and finger points to AOC and Dr. Fauci (earlier) about making their constituents and hospital workers (which I have no idea what Dr. Fauci even has to do with that) get vaccinated. Other than MyFather, who told her she was smart? Seriously.

I almost fell off my couch when Ray said he was attracted to Katie. I guess since Erica Liles has never been a cast member he couldn’t name her – and Karen would have had a conniption. Ashley’s mom was looking at Ashley like “do whatever you have to do to keep the checks rolling” when she was listening to her.

White House, why won’t you let Meghan help you with Republican outreach on the vaccine messaging? It’s not like she’s trashed the current President every time his name is mentioned…

And the irony after she was having a near conniption yesterday about Gwen Berry “disrespecting” the flag while she was actually staging a form of protest against the institutional racism Black people have experienced in this country. But she’s going to cherry pick because Vogue = bad and flag = always good. In the end, we know she doesn’t care about Black people in this country other than when it’s convenient to be outraged to promote her cause.

Meghan seriously lost me on her talking points about Vogue. Plus, I thought she was wearing a crown on her head for a second and I thought she was taking that Princess of Arizona title seriously.

Same. I think the other ladies have worked out the strategy to not engage with her anymore and let everyone see how she looks. I’ve felt like the flag has been used by people like MeAgain to again divide and provide some sense of superiority over those who don’t “belong” as an American. Your ancestors may have been here as long as hers, but you don’t clutch the flag? You’re definitely not as American as her!

I agree. I was also thinking because her hubby strongly suggests she should. And if Whoopi lays into MeAgain, I bet she’s the one who has to apologize. I wish someone could ask MeAgain to quote (without referencing) her favorite verse in the Bible. Because for her to be such an authority on who is more faithful, I’m willing to bet she’s barely read it. Has she studied it? Interpreted and debated the meanings behind the stories? No, because she doesn’t strike me as a person who possesses an iota of intellectual curiosity.

Can she not go back to Fox News or go somewhere with her “tribe”? At this point, it feels like she’s picking fights just to see how far she can go. Having Ana on earlier this week was such a breath of fresh air. The women didn’t always agree, but everyone was able to get their point across. Plus, Ana doesn’t pout when someone objects to something she says.

Meghan sounds like my teenaged self when I’d argue with my mom. Except…I’m 37 and grew out of that 20 years ago. Catch up, MeAgain! Ugh, and Whoopi had to apologize while Meghan mutters her apology. There’s no justice in the world…

And WTF was that even. Is it just me or is she becoming even more (I know it’s hard to believe) nonsensical?

Sarah is out today but MeAgain is there? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Ugh.

There is no joy (no pun intended) left in this show anymore. The ladies are over MeAgain. The audience is over her. Can someone pull the plug on this train wreck?

I hope Meghan wrote down Sanjay’s response so she doesn’t have to bring up “not understanding” and why the “goal posts” move all the time. I feel like I can recount at least 2 times someone on the show has said almost the same thing he said about why things aren’t back to normal yet. And Meghan, since you dislike Dr. Fauci so much, don’t worry about whether he eats indoors or takes his food home. And go, Sunny, go!!!

And she’s not just vaxxed, she’s double vaxxed!

Well, she came up with an ad campaign, but no one seems to be calling her back...

But, but Dr. Fauci made her give her masks away at the beginning of this pandemic. He told her she didn’t need one and he’s been lying to her ever since... (that’s my sarcasm at her ridiculousness)

She wants it both ways. She wants the current administration to fix it all, but if they do something – anything not within her specificity – it’s wrong. She honestly acts like I did when I was...12. My parents pulled me out of that real quick. I wonder if the previous tactic of ignoring Meghan’s word salad nonsense isn’t working and the ladies are deciding to fight back. I feel like in the past few weeks they’d just ignore what she spewed as to not feed into it, but she’s so ridiculous it’s hard not to counter. Loved Sunny’s rebuttal and hope she does more of it. And Whoopi’s “frog’s legs” which finally got her to shut.up.

I’m sure Tamir Rice would agree. But alas... I think I’m out. I’ve zoned out Bill’s cranky old man rants because I would look forward to seeing some of the guests, but it sounds like he’s going to keep heading right down this path...at least until his solar power shed is cleared. Will keep up with the forum to see if there are any interesting insights from guests, but won’t miss Bill.
