  1. It's like she's unable to be in a sketch without chewing the scenery the entire time she's on.
  2. Jackson looks like Jacob in the top picture.
  3. At the rate the writer's strike is going, that might need to be CBS's plan for next year. It could be another season of Survivor players and their family members for an early fill in BB season. We know they have plenty of famewhores who would jump at the chance. I knew nothing good was going to come from him when he had the DR session about how this season could just knock off all the young people and keep all the older ones. Yeah, cuz that's what we want to see, and I'm saying this as a 46 year old. And I don't know why, but he creeps me out and has since the first moment he hit the screen.
  4. But the real test will be if we find out one of them is a murderer again.
  5. Yeah, I'm kinda over Kirsten after that little bit. She really is trying too hard.
  6. That would explain too much for this show. I was giving my sister a half ass recap of the show yesterday and I told her it completely looked like sucked away thing malfunctioned and wasn't even working. Given they were all just laying there, not even wiggling or barely breathing for that matter, I find it hard to believe, even with a BB event, that it was working as designed. Unless the design was to bore us,
  7. And the one guy looked like he wasn’t even holding on with one hand, just resting it on top.
  8. My grandmother caught the measles when she was pregnant with my uncle back in the 60’s. He was born with gangrene on his testicles and sterile.
  9. I think the issue with the Crepe truck is exactly what you said, you can get crepes pretty easily these days. They aren't different and new anymore. There was even a Crepe place in the next town over from mine for quite a while, they recently closed that location but still have another one not too far away. I don't know if they closed to lack of business, they were oddly placed given the rest of the eateries in that particular area are known for their many, many booze options, or if they lost their lease for another bar to open. Their other location is much better suited for crepes instead of drunken bar crawls. I think Paisani missed the mark with Italian food in sunny California. If I was outside in the heat, the last thing I would want is heavy saucy Italian. Honestly, I wouldn't even stop to look at the offerings if I had walked past. Nothing says beach food or California like a bunch of kids in hoodies doing their best good fellas impressions.
  10. Well last week we got mentions of both and Mrs. Van Halen (Ed's mom, not his actual wife) plus pics, so I guess this week's an improvement? Maybe?
  11. Last August I found myself in the hospital after having 4 mini strokes due to completely ignoring my diabetes. I knew I was diabetic, just didn't care and felt fine until 4 mini stokes in like 6 days. I've really been pretty diligent about eating better and taking all my meds since then, but even at the hospital, knowing my A1-C was like 16 when I got there, the nutritionist told me it's okay to splurge now and then, you want to have cake for a birthday, have a piece of cake, you go out with friends and want to have a whole pizza for dinner, have a whole pizza for dinner. Her point was very few people are going to make drastic changes and 100% stick to them every moment of every day and if you don't allow yourself the occasional splurge, you will be setting yourself up for failure when you become so frustrated and give up and go back to all your old ways. We all saw Amber is the type to harp to Trent about having a holiday favorite is not okay for him while she not only made it, but loaded her own plate up with it to eat in front of him. So in other words, endless frustration.
  12. One of my favorite parts of this whole episode was Keeley's FUUUUUCCCCKKKKK, complete with the Roy growl when she saw the poster of herself behind Jamie's door.
  13. Those shirts obviously don’t apply to her kids.
  14. LOL! My sister used to have a cat who wouldn't eat the x shaped food in her kibble. The other cats didn't care and we really wondered how different the x could taste to the cat from the other shapes. The dog was more than happy to eat the cat's left overs though!
  15. My issue with Dawn is she tries to force the ingredient to work with her narrative instead of embracing the ingredient and working with it first and foremost and if she can get it to work with her narrative great, if not, well so be it. Her timing issues are just tiresome. Its one thing if you having a timing issue here or there, I'm sure it happens to the best of chefs. But Dawn's timing seemed to be an issue each and every cook. As for Buddha, the less Buddha the better IMO. He's just so smug, I can't root for him, no matter how great his food can look. Instead I actively root for him to fail.
  16. I just like it's not beige. I feel like she usually wears a dress the same color as her hair and skin.
  17. I had never heard of The 1975 and yes, bad yacht rock was a perfect description but my main take away was the very, very obviously scripted every bit of body movement and facial affect of the lead singer. I made I about 45 seconds into the first song before I had enough and had to fast forward the DVR. It was just too overly precious and disingenuous, I noped out. The show was solid enough, the only sketch I didn't care for was the phone jingle, but I can't stand JAJ. I really liked the PDD pretape and the Waffle House sketches.
  18. That was somehow very oddly low key and low energy. I don't know how, but it was.
  19. Please explain to me what the hell happened to Shania Twain? She's a total hot mess. Did you see the top hat she had on on the red carpet? I was cringing for her.
  20. Three second into the new season and it's blatantly obvious any social anxiety Jazz has is 1000% exacerbated by her crazy ass mother. If she had a real therapist, not Cousin Debbie, I'd hope they'd recognize her mother is doing her no favors and be recommending she needs to stay far away from her mother and suggesting some intense therapy for mom.
  21. I suffered from migraine for years (turned out to be my birth control pills..... I'd take about them with my regular doctor, not my gyno, so the connection wasn't made for. a while) and yeah, I needed silence and darkness or I'd be throwing up from the pain, so filming in a grocery store wouldn't be happening.
