She wouldn't even make it to the cars to make it to the first airport. I swear I know how old my family is, but I apparently never did the math. My mom had me when she was 17, my younger sister had her son at 17.... and when I was 36 my mom happened to mention she was grandma at 36. My brain could barely comprehend that sentence. Not to drag up an eaten muffin, but I kept trying to figure out, did Jasmine claim 2 muffins out of a dozen for herself when there's 11 still in the house? If so, she's lucky she got one. It should have been one for everyone and 2 for the baker.

I mean, I found it unnerving at first she doesn't open her teeth when she talks, but other than that, yes, she's lovely. Mashed potatoes? Can't say I've ever considered that as a burger side dish. Im 45. Mine was when I was 36 and my 16 year old employee told me I was older than her mom. Oh, and the young guys (18. 19, 20) we're hiring at my current job who can't read write cursive since they were never taught it in school.

Her problem is she apparently thought she could cash out and still have 100% access to the house and whole property forever and ever. -

I think Lilah’s delays are due to bad parenting. They never engage her, they plop her down. Do they encourage her in conversation or just talk at her. Half the time she doesn’t have her glasses on , can she even see? -
Yeah, she was totally trying to pick up Max, no matter what religious forgiveness reasoning she was trying to spin. All of the kids are damaged, but she seems the most damaged. Her literally clinging to Ethan when ever she saw him in previous seasons was very creepy. It makes me think there's some very dark things that happened in the home that we've yet to hear. As for Barry and Kim, I 100% agree that she was calling all the shots for years and IMO he had little to no say in anything. He acts like a guy who was just in awe he managed to get a pretty girl, and he would do anything she said to keep her. He and the older kids act like they were hostages who are just beginning to venture out in the world.

The Great Food Truck Race - General Discussion
Fostersmom replied to a topic in The Great Food Truck Race
Both Señorita and Salsa Bitch need to tie back their hair. And for some reason, the other woman working with Salsa Bitch's hair is bugging me too. But that's probably a guilt by association thing. Pasta guy needs to learn to make a smaller batch of dough or use double yolk eggs or something. 60 eggs to get the yolks to make the pasta is just too time consuming on a food truck. I felt bad for the other guy on the truck when they had him just driving aimlessly, but he's lucky he didn't kill someone when he hit the Covid tent. -
His point was don't come visit if you're going to act like miserable jackasses the whole time and not let the grandkids even really visit. IMO, that's a perfectly valid request.

Chris is lucky to have dodged the bullet on both of those. I'm not a realtor, but I wouldn't want to be associated with either one of those houses, buying or selling.

They have the same mother, Shane is their half brother.

I actually saw a preview for the episode on either Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood a week or so ago. I'm pretty sure our owner was told a while ago when the episode would be airing, I vaguely remember hearing the date at that time.

The company that I work for did some work for the episode that is airing Monday, it's not Gwyneth again.

His explanation is even more convoluted. He has known a choreographer for 20 years, knows a contestant admires said choreographer, wants to get choreographer a job on the show, so he wants to talk to the contestant dancer about it. What? That makes NO sense at all. I also take issue with the fact he reads one message that has NOTHING to do with his explanation and acts like the contestant staying anonymous is somehow NOT okay.

Matthew Morrison is married, so him sliding into a contestant's DM'S is even grosser than they are letting on.

I can see how it might be better to just leave the kitchen as is. It's more than likely going to need a total overhaul to make it average height anyway, and if I was a potential buyer, I'd like a say in the new look.

She purposely puts ingredients in things for her current husband knowing Chris doesn't like them, Matt not liking them isn't going to stop her. -

I think it's usually the Christmas show, which was Covid impacted this season so it was Che and Tina Fey half way hosting, but not swapping jokes. -

Zach, who used his child to break the news, questioned Matt's reaction like he expected Matt to start ranting and raving about them moving. He obviously didn't get the over the top theatrics he was craving. Given Zach also tried to use his kids as bargaining chips, I have no doubts Zach and Tori expected to be handed the farm at pennies on the dollar. Zach and Tori better hope like hell TLC keeps churning this crap out, because they really don't have a back up plan or way to support themselves. Tori's degree isn't going to pay the mortgage alone if she needed to use it and Zach's lazier than hell and he really has no marketable skills to support a dog, let alone a family. -
S47.E20: Selena Gomez / Post Malone

I don't know what has inspired Selena to be so flat, but it is painful. I remember her from her Disney show, and she didn't speak like that. A few months ago she was doing a radio voice over for some radio awards or show or something, I don't quite remember, but every time I heard it, all I could think was she was being held hostage and had to record the promo to be released. She just sounded so lifeless and like she was being bothered to have to promote it. But after seeing her on SNL, I guess this is her new affect? It's not good. -

Seriously, who uses their child to announce news like that? Not cool at all. -
Valerie's Home Cooking - General Discussion
Fostersmom replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Valerie's Home Cooking
She needs a good stylist. I do get the impression they are responsible for their own looks on these shows, and I could see her refusing to believe she's not the right size or shape for everything. The monstrosity she wore today in her ode to her Irish mother was just horrible. Although, I found today's top so ugly I can't really picture it looking good on anyone. I was curious about the health benefits of the meat substitutes when they first came out. So since it would be an easy comparison, I looked up the nutritional info on a regular Whopper versus their Impossible Whopper, or what ever it's called. While a lot was basically little differences here and there, I was surprised at how much fats were still in the plant based version. And the sodium was much higher. So yeah, unless your end result is literally no meats, the health benefits don't seem to quite be there. -

I do think he did have dreams of Jeremy one day taking it over, expecting Jeremy to do everything his way. But Jeremy proved himself to be lazy beyond words, extremely useless, and seemingly expected it basically for free. While Audrey is running a pyramid scheme, she does seem to be working her hustle hard. I have no doubts none of their joint projects would ever get done if Jeremy was in charge. I do think that if Jeremy ever grew up and actually had half a desire to work, he would have just followed Matt's directions and Audrey would have been the one making sure things got done. I agree, Zach never had a serious chance. He might have a slightly better work ethic than Jeremy, but also expected to have an actual say in things. I don't think he quite expected the farm for free, but also wasn't thinking he should have to pay a fair market value. Tori doesn't seem to have that much of a drive either, so while Audrey would have been cracking the whip behind Jeremy, I don't see anything ever getting done with Zach running the show. Obviously neither twin, and likely Matt for that matter, ever took Molly or Jacob into consideration. -
All I could see last week was the pots basically dancing across the deck like an amoeba. The stacks seemed so loose. I have to wonder if that played a part of 2 guys getting crushed. Right? He was way to into the rescue. I literally said out loud, "I'm sure Francis was happy to be crushed so you could watch a show". I'm glad I'm not the only one to feel this way.

I watched the episode of Bloodline after the show and Josh was on it.... he looked horrible and if I had to guess, he's still using. Shane's their half brother, they have same mom. Make you wonder how they never saw each other with their mother, although I am getting the feeling the Harris boys never saw much of her themselves. I remember reading the second wife was pretty damn abusive with Jake. I also remember Josh saying he tried to protect him since Jake was so little, but he was a kid himself, so there was little he could do. I don't by any stretch of the imagination think Phil was father of the year, but I also get the impression that abusive step mom had a big hand in cutting off anything to do with Mary's first kids and the Harris brothers and Phil. Plus, back then, it would have been the mom's "job" to keep her kids close, not the ex-step father's.

I really enjoyed today's show too. GZ, Alex, and Katie just really seemed to balance each other nicely. No one was talking over someone else, no one was shouting, and no one was acting like a hacky comic. I haven't missed Sunny's crappy shortcut recipes or screaming at all and Jeff can be a lot to take at times too. Today's show was a nice refreshing change!

It is ugly, but ironically it did fit the event. She was at a tea party... finger sandwiches, little pastries, potted tea.
