  1. You could well be right, but Annalise is so manipulative, and again, she is blaming Bonnie that she was failing at her class action lawsuit. To paraphrase, she says “I was trying to do something good, but look what you have done.” She is constantly degrading Bonnie. I love Viola Davis in this role, but honestly, if the K4, Bonnie, Nate and Frank all pushed her off of a cliff somewhere, it would be well deserved.
  2. I don't know how much I believe about the Annalise and Bonnie scene. Annalise has always treated Bonnie like shit, and now she is claiming she never thought Bonnie was worthless. BS, unless there is a complete retcon going on.
  3. I actually like the clip shows better. The full episodes are too tedious for me.
  4. What I enjoyed most about this episode was Shaun’s attempt at humor or least an attempt to understand humor and respond to it.
  5. I have never commented on this particular forum before, and I will admit I don’t regularly watch the program, only some occasional clips on Youtube, although I do want to chime in on Meghan McCain. I know some people found Jed annoying, and I will grant that she could be, but really no more so than Whoopie. However, I did think she had a dynamic that fit in at the table, but MM really seems uncomfortable and awkward. She really never smiles or laughs much and always looks so sour and stern (at least from what I have seen), and she is about as interesting as a bag of dust. I wonder if they brought her father on to try to increase her likability because from what I can tell, she really isn’t really generating a positive reaction.
  6. I don’t disagree. I just thought the story was leading somewhere else. I actually thought she was lying about being a porn worker and using it as a coverup for what was really going on with her.
  7. Pure speculation here, but I wonder if maybe the ladies are playing Kai instead of the other way around.
  8. I thought they were building up a story to the young sex worker, i.e. an underage runaway and/or a molestation case. Nice character moments for Claire, Shaun and Dr. Anderson, but otherwise it fell flat. When Dr. Anderson said his door was always open, I was half expecting Shaun to show up at his door to find it shut and have a meltdown though. I agree the show needs to pull back on Shaun’s outbursts. It’s a lot of hand waving to believe someone with pretty much no social boundaries would be allowed to practice medicine. I suppose he could be a diagnostician and consult on cases from afar, but realistically, there is no way he should be allowed anywhere near a patient, let alone at an OR table. That being said, I still find Shaun an enjoyable character, and I plan to continue watching. This is a nice feel-good show, and I need some feel-goods right now.
  9. I can hand wave a lot of things, but I found it completely ridiculous that they didn't ask the have the child removed from the courtroom when her mother's suicide video was shown.
  10. Interesting that the donor liver was named Oliver. For some reason, I was sure it was going to be the cat's name.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmca2wWi1CM This is a funny video about Kit pranking Rose.
  12. I was just watching the Russell Brand interview, and I found it awkward. Stephen didn’t seem very comfortable with him. I think Russell is intelligent, but I find him to be a bit of dick. It seems like he believes himself to be smarter than he is.
  13. I don’t think she got Kai to open up. Kai is feeding her what she wants, which is the illusion of believing she has equal control. I think it is over for Beverly. Game, Set, Match!
  14. I don’t know how much of his story I believe either, but I am fairly certain he was playing Beverly with his show of emotion. Everything we know about Kai says manipulator and we (and he) know that Beverly’s thing is equal power. It seems likely that he is just allowing her to think she has some control when in reality he is using her power issues to control her.
  15. I’m thinking that this whole series will be formulaic and cliched, but I have a bit of a crush on Freddie, and I do think I will be entertained. He’s kind of a lovable dork. Granted, there are problems when it comes to the actual medical stuff, but this isn’t a documentary. All I really care about is enjoying the show, and so far I am.
  16. I enjoyed this. I imagine it is going to be some endearing little fluff show and probably not terribly thought provoking, but I’ll probably continue to watch as long as it remains interesting and not completely unrealistic. I hope we don’t get a lot of contrived romance or interpersonal relationships, but if the show centers on Dr. Murphy, I can live with that.
  17. I don't like them either, mostly because I think some things are better left to the imagination. I certainly wouldn't want to watch my friends going at it, no matter how much I enjoyed their company.
  18. How would that help things though? If I was with someone who told me you look just like someone I loathed, I don't think it would make me feel better.
  19. Is there a reason we are assuming Kai and Winter are siblings? Unless I missed something, I never heard it mentioned on the show.
  20. I am sorry I spent time watching this. I loved the old school Twin Peak characters, and I wanted to see them, but this show was a mess. For me, nothing made sense.
  21. Not True, my Siri just doubts the Lannisters intents
  22. How funny! When I said that, she asked me if a Lannister always paid their debts.
  23. The only other one I could think of was The Grinch. Of course, the Jolly Green Giant came to mind, but I couldn't think of a way to present it as an acceptable clue - "vegetable giant" works.
  24. I thought "your pride" was a pretty good clue. Usher was a huge WTF. How could you do so well on the first 2 categories and completely tank that last one?
  25. The more I read this forum, the more convinced I become that the Rachel/Peter breakup was contrived and that they were both in on it. She claims that she was not begging for a proposal, and in so much as it seemed clear Bryan was going to be her choice anyhow, I believe her. That’s why it made no sense that she and he both said, she looked directly at him at the rose ceremony and stated she wanted a proposal. It would have made far more sense to have kept Eric. At some point, I think they both realized they were on different pages, but because, I believe, TPTB wanted Peter for the next Bachelor they were given a script to follow to give the show a controversial ending. There are quite a few reasons I believe this, but the live show really was telling, especially Rachel saying she cried her eyelashes off and then Peter saying her eyelashes stayed on the floor for 2 days, and he wasn’t about to pick them. LMAO!! What a weird thing to say. Someone had to have written those corny lines because WTF!
