  1. I have always wondered why Todd and Christy see in each other and now I know, they are both not the nicest people. I get sticking up for your wife but I think Todd should have stayed out of it. Christy is more than capable of handling her own. Speaking of Christy, her whole little spiel about how this is like "high school", well she started it with her own high school behavior of tattling to Tracy. I do agree though that Terra should have waited until another time to bring up the issue. Todd moved there to be with Christy, I remember they had an episode where he was looking for job and discussed the difficulties he faced as a little person.
  2. She isn't a virgin. Just waited until marriage to sleep with her husband. She clarified it on that pre season interview show.
  3. I don't think Elena is with Preston for citizenship reasons, it seems as if they have been together for a few years and I get the sense that she genuinely loves him. I don't she was faking on the show last night, she was genuinely upset and you don't get that upset unless you really care. She also mentioned that what helped her get through the act was thinking it was just her and her husband, so he is of value to her. I didn't realize Tracy was 40, she sure doesn't act like it. I will say this though, her stressing about getting pregnant will just make the situation worse.
  4. I hope the show loses the baby focus, it feels as if that has been the recurrent theme for the past three episodes. I hope Tracy and Christy get pregnant but I would like their storylines to not only focus on that. I am not tuning in to see Tracy cry every week that she isn't pregnant or find out how many ways Christy and Todd can have sex. Also agree about Christy, I felt that she was calming down but why is she telling people who Terra told about her pregnancy first, that's Terra's choice. It's just starting trouble. While I do think Elena over-reacted about the girl and Preston, however it is her right to be upset and her marriage. I get that Terra was just trying to be helpful but she just made the situation worse. . She went home and it seemed as if she and Preston spoke and dealt with it, Terra didn't have to bring it up again. I haven't been Joe's biggest fan, but he did get me with his comment about why he would want an average size child.
  5. I was worried the grocery cart would tip over also, but she looked pretty comfortable, I was wondering about Brianna's daughter myself so glad to have that question answered. I am so over Traci, I mean your friend said she is pregnant and you start crying because you haven't gotten pregnant yet. She has only been married a few months and as mentioned above, you have to try for at least a year before you would be considered to have problems. Her husband seems like a nice guy, he respone, "that's awesome".. How he puts up with her "woe is me" is beyond me. I don't think Tonya planned on outing Trevor while his mom was there, but he invited her to meet his mom while talking about moving in together. Then when said mom arrives it become "we're dating" not "we're in a relationship"..so I think she got pissed. As for Trevoree...he is an idiot, you send someone a facebook message and then turn around and say she's lying. What a douche..Also they said he didn't have a job, so how was he buying a house. As for Elena, from her husbands response it looks like she has been back and forth on the baby train.
  6. Suffice it to say not who I expected to be pregnant. While Joe's reaction wasn't the best I think he was just in shock and we may see a change later on. I really felt bad for Brianna, she was very supportive of everyone in season 1 and it did seem as if they were just piling on her. Her health issues are her business and she shouldn't be pushed into saying anything in an open forum. Did not like Traci that much this episode, she could have been more understanding. Surprisingly I liked Christy a lot this episode. She was less "loud". She has her ring so she's happy. Looks like Trevor will be up to some shenanigans based on the preview. I do wonder is he's in this relationship to be on TV.
  7. My reaction ran along the lines of, "what else can they potentially take from him"...seriously
  8. Glad to see this topic, I read the series after watching the first Hunger Games movie and I have to admit that Peeta is also my favorite character, but I like him just based on the movie version alone. I have never seen him as weak or as a damsel in distress, yes he wasn't the typical macho man but his strength was manifested in so many other ways. I also flew threw Mockingjay to see what happened to his character. Initially I didn't like Mockingjay, however after re-reading the book I came to appreciate the fact that Collin's made an effort to show the effects on war on this 17 year old girl. No matter how strong and self assured Katniss was in the Hunger Games, it makes sense that going through 2 arenas would affect her severely, I appreciated the fact that she had PTSD and had these lapses. No one who went through the games came through without issue, even gentle Peeta had nightmares. I also like how Collins wrote the change in the friendship between Katniss and Gale and I saw both their sides. Gale's view of the Capitol and it's citizens made perfect sense while Katniss having some compassion for some Capitol citizen also made sense since she had been there twice and knew there was good there such as Cinna. It also made sense that Katniss and Peeta would grow closer in the second book given their shared experiences, that closeness helped Katniss deal with her trauma and we see the effect of Peeta's absence in Mockingjay where she literally is broken without him around to anchor her.
  9. Just caught the episode, while I didn't want Finn to die, no matter how you shake it he was guilty. He killed 18 people including women and children and there had to be some recompense for that. I admire the show for actually not finding some magical way to save Finn. Clarke can say she was also a killer, burned 300 people etc..but that was during a battle and not the same situation as Finn gunning down those people. I agree with those who think Clarke didn't really love Finn, I haven't seen anything in the past episodes to really point past the fact that she cared for him. I think she told him that since he was dying. I also think the Commander respects the fact that Clarke killed Finn herself. Looking forward to the next episode.
  10. Thanks for the clarification, I thought of reading the book but I decided against it. I knew Thorin would die as I read that somewhere on the internet but otherwise I really thought all of the other dwarves would live so I was surprised when Kili and his brother were killed.
  11. Just saw this today, I guess I am in the minority because I actually enjoyed it probably the most of the three films. That being said I do recognize that not much really happened in the plot and there was a lot of padding. They absolutely didn't need to add the whole "go search for Stryker" bit there at the end. Also I knew that Legolas would be fine since he shows up in LoTR. I won't lie, I absolutely LOVED Kili and Tauriel and was very upset that they killed him. I did *sniff* at the end when she sat over his dead body and I was HOPING that somehow he would live. When she was asked if she would give up her immortality for him, I assumed it would come into play when he died and he would get his life back with her being a mortal woman. However as the show went on and on and no secret solution for Kili to live, I realized he was really dead. I wanted them to get married and have little Dwarvin babies. Anyone know the significance of the stone he gave her as a promise? I have never read the book so I don't know about Dwarf tradition. I expected Thorin's death and happy that he died himself and not in the madness haze. Pity his line had to end though. Also as fan service wouldn't have minded seeing baby Frodo *runs and hides* Agree though, 3 movies was too much for one book, but they will make their money.
  12. Yay! vbut who is he? I doubt Regina had a son and forgot about it.
  13. Just saw Exodus, it was definitely a different take in comparison to other movies with the military component In the scene where Ramses asks if they worship a God that kills children I wanted Moses to say that Ramses has murdered children and he considers himself a god.
  14. Wow, what a wonderful heartwarming episode. "Tobias" was a hoot...but the whole hitting in "Daphne(Bay)" was really weird and awkward... Loved AJ also, wish we could keep him... I co-sign with a long lost son of Angelo
  15. Agree about the ship tease, season 1, Clarke/Bellamy wasn't even on the radar, now we have the little chat by the fire and the huggy reunion. At least they had the good sense to make Bellamy hesitate before returning the hug and then having her hug Octavia. Octavia has grown on me, I like her single minded goal of getting to Lincoln. As for Lincoln, keep him shirtless and please get him out of reaper phase soon. I think the "radiation leak" was a set up to experiment on the kids. Finn's turn around makes no sense, I hope Clarke blasts him next episode.
  16. Have to agree here..the chemistry was much more palpable. The Hanging Tree was my favorite part of the movie, the song itself and how it was utilized. I will admit my eyes got misty when Peeta heard the song and said "Katniss, are you there?" with that anguished look on his face and her response to his inquiry. I know the song became the anthem of the revolution but for some reason I related the songs lyrics to them and their separation. Peeta was just scary, the scene the strangling was hard to watch even though I knew it was coming. He looked terrible so kudos to the CGI department there. I am glad they didn't end it with him getting knocked out and I am definitely looking forward to his scenes in the next film. I was not a fan of them splitting up the last book and I still wish they had kept it as one movie. At least with the HP franchise they had enough material for two books whereas I don't think this is the case. I will also admit that Mockingjay was my least favorite book and I contemplated not watching this movie until next year when part 2 was released but I am glad I did. I thought it was well done, very different feel from the prior two movies but I thought Jennifer did a good job of selling Katniss's despair in the midst of a revolution. I also thought even though these people were in a revolution you could feel their sense of hope and purpose to overthrow the Capitol. Snow was appropriately scary and I look forward to his scenes in the next movie. Other scenes I loved where the hospital scene where everyone saluted her and her scene with Prim. I do wish we had some more scenes with Haymitch/Katniss and since they are doing two movies they could have expanded on that a bit, same in regards to fleshing out Finnick. Loved the addition of Effie to district 13, she brought some much needed levity to the show. Liam did a good job in the scene where Gale describes the attack on 12.
  17. The highlight of the night for me was the Carlton dance, I had to rewind and watch again just for that alone, also loved the dance. Allison was horrible in the samba, I didn't even watch Jonathan just her and *shudder* Mark's costume was atrocious.
  18. I DVR Wolf Watch but ffwd to the sneak peek and preview. Depending on the guest MAYBE, maybe I'll pause to listen for a sec but I've never actually watched a whole show.
  19. I liked this episode. I also liked Scott's "wolfing out" and I wish he had killed that guy. At some point Scott will have to kill to defend himself, however I didn't realize that doing that would let him loose his true alpha status. The issue I have with the "the sun, the moon etc" mantra is this, if you're a werewolf being chased by an assassin intent on killing you, WHY would you want to suppress your wolf, shouldn't you wolf out to at least try and defend yourself even if you're not a fighter. Not surprised that Peter wants to kill Scott, for a second I was wondering if he was on on the humanizing of Derek but I don't think so. I liked the twist if Peter being that actual benefactor via Meredith.
  20. Is Todd working ? Wasn't he looking for a job in a prior episode. How did they pay for the wedding ?
  21. We still don't know Lyanna's feelings for Robert. I tend to fall on the side that she ran off with Rhaegar, how would her marriage to Robert be if she was in love with another man and how would Robert react if he realized it. I think it's hard to really say how Robert would have been in a marriage to Lyanna as we don't know how Lyanna felt about Robert.
  22. It would have definitely made more sense if Meredith was the password. So Garrett and Violet the dead just like that and all we know is that they were orphans. I agree with the poster above who said too much time was spent on them in prior episodes given their recent demise. I was actually curious about their backstory. Sad that Meredith died I was hoping she would get out and join the gang. I actually loved how concerned Scott was about Liam and the hug at the end. He's a good alpha dad. However I have to wonder if Liam isn't just a bit angry at being turned even though it was done to save his life ? Another thing, doesn't Liam's parents wonder where he is? Also here Scott was able to lift him out one handed.
  23. Looks like Christy's folks ove and support her, so I can forgive the mother that one moment how many years ago (that being said she shouldn't talk about it like that). She owns up to it and it looks like it didn't affect her being a mother. As for Christy, the whole "I want to text Tracy on her wedding day, we're pregnant", NOT a good look. That being said, I wish her and Todd good luck they do seem very happy together. Terra, you may want to marry Joe but he obviously doesn't want to commit to you, she needs to cut her losses and leave him. Going to couples counseling before you are even engaged is not a good sign. Honestly, she kinda grated in the beginning of the series but now I just feel sorry for her.
