  1. *looks at pictures above*..Pedro is one sexy man... I assumed Sansa put feathers on the dress to simulate a mockingbird since that is Littlefingers personally made Sigil, also we have never seen any feathered clothing on neither Robyn or Lysa. Actually since Robyn is technically in mourning, why isn't he also in black, as is Sansa/Littlefinger make a matching set *ugh*. Littlefinger was looking at Sansa with open LUST, he is very good at hiding his true emotions but we have seen him slip a few times with Sansa. I wonder how long the mask will last until he slips and someone else catches on. Sansa saying"I know what you want" could be a reference to their conversation when he told her he wants everything. While the beetle story was boring, I assume it will come into play at some later date or season.
  2. I don't think Ramsey would do anything to Roose, the hobbit psychopath loves his father, that much is clear and he obviously takes the Bolton traditions very very seriously. The look on his face when Roose berated him and now when he made him an official Bolton says it all. That was actually a pretty nice scene between daddy and son sadist. I'm worried for poor Walda, what if she becomes pregnant.
  3. I think Tywin sent that to screw with Daenerys council. Remember they were discussing her a few episodes back and someone said that she had Selmy and Jorah advising her. Jorah has known about his pardon for some time, he just chose to stay. Maybe the actual letter was never sent after Robert died and now Tywin is making use of it.
  4. In regards to Jorah, yes he did give information that let to an attack on her life while she was pregnant but he saved her. In the end Rhaego died as a part of a revenge plot. Also there are many spies about. Point is, he has been a valuable asset and made a huge mistake but how long ago was that event. He has proven to be loyal since then and has given good advice, he can re-earn her trust. Look at Daario, he was initially sent to kill her but he is still around. As for Selmy, who is he to tell Jorah he would never be along with Dany again, Jorah should have been given a second chance to defend himself without an audience.
  5. When Sansa was sitting there knitting (didn't we see Catelyn doing that a lot ) and looked up at Littlefinger with her big blue eyes you KNOW he was seeing Catelyn reincarnated. His heart probably skipped a beat. I hope she never uses her "one" other weapon.
  6. Speaking of flaying, when Ramsey got down on his knees, almost tearily telling daddy that he would uphold the "traditions" of the Bolton name, I wondered what other "tradition" existed in that particular family. Also show, I didn't need to see that flayed corpse to tell the truth... Theon, I really thought that he would have realized who he was at the last minute but he really is gone mentally. When that man challenged him it looked as if he was about to freak out and run in a corner going "Reek" "Reek"
  7. Soooo first and foremost Daenerys is an idiot!! Secondly, EVERY single scene with Sansa and Littlefinger creeped me the *bleep* out!! I mean seriously skeeved me out..I was *cringing*..was she wearing a mockingbird dress at the end there...*shudder* Daenerys is an idiot!! Oberyn let his emotions control him and it was the end of him, that really was a gruesome death. I felt bad for Tyrion, he looked so relieved at the end and Jaime was smiling and then *BAM*. The fight was beautiful though, he was quick and light on his feet..but sorry I still have an issue picturing Mountain part 3 being old enough to kill/rape Elia all those years ago.. Question though, if both people die then the accused is automatically guilty? Pity about Oberyn though, I loved his character. Daenerys is an idiot!!..Yes Jorah betrayed her but he also also been by her side this entire time and he did ultimately save her from drinking the wine. .She needs to realize that people can change. As for Barristan.. Mr. honest and honorable, whatever..I have never been a fan of Barristan Selmy because he would have stood by and let the Mad King burn Kings landing because of “honor” ALSO if he wasn’t "retired"by Joffrey he would have served him until the day he died no matter what atrocities Joffrey committed and would now be guarding Tommen. He should have kept his mouth shut or at least allowed Jorah to speak with her in private, Jorah deserved that much. Tywin wins again, he got rid of one of Dany's seasoned advisors and she played right into his hands. I found Arya laughing a bit strange to tell the truth, I wonder what happens now. Technically Robin is her cousin so the Hound can leave Arya there but he won't get pain. Honestly though at this point she really isn't his prisoner. By the way, did I say Daenerys is an idiot!
  8. I agree Scarlett45. As much as incest is wrong, their feelings developed due to spending 4 years locked up together during a time when they were both emotionally vulnerable. Chris couldn't love another woman as he wouldn't open himself up after what his mother did. He only trusted Cathy. Cathy was on a destructive path and no matter how many men she married/fell in love with she would always have feelings for Chris. Since the attic I always thought Cathy had a darkness about her and if she didn't have Chris in her life it would have consumed her. Actually the only time I felt the darkness had disappeared was in Seeds of Yesterday, when she was in her 50's. Actually the end of that book broke my heart. Cathy essentially dying of a broken heart after Chris got killed. Had my pre-teen self in tears.
  9. I think Tyrion always had access to the Lannister cash/gold. Tywin might hate him but he's still a Lannister so he wouldn't cut him off. I got the sense that Tyrion was living a life of leisure, probably like other nobles at the time and didn't really "work". Since Tywin lived at Casterly Rock I don't see Tyrion hanging around there that much. Prior to becoming the Hand I don't think he had any real responsibilities.
  10. Sooo.....that was not what I expected at all, actually didn't really feel like Petals on the Wind, HOWEVER I have to say that I really enjoyed it, that being said I felt as if it was more of an interpretation of the Book vs the actual story from the book. Corrine/Cathyreally looked as if they could be mother and daughter and I thought Heather Graham did a much better job here than she did in FITA, she wasn't as terrible. I didn't mind them skipping over Paul/Kathy because I wasn't a fan of that relationship in the books. I liked that they gave Chris a girlfriend, as in the books I felt as if he was always pining for Cathy who was off falling in love with Paul/Chris/Bart. Chris having his own relationship gave him some agency. What I didn't like was the fact that Chris went ahead and proposed and then his super perky fiancee finds him kissing his sister. I would have preferred that after that conversation with his girlfriends father, that would have broken up with her instead of going ahead with the relationship. The actor who played Julian was a lot more attractive on screen than on the promo pictures, however I didn't like the variation on that relationship. I wish they kept him jumping on Kathy's toes and then committing suicide. Also wished they had left Bart choosing not to leave Corrine even after finding out Cathy was pregnant with his child. Carrie had a minor story but that pretty much stuck to the book storyline which I appreciated and the actress who played Carrie did an excellent job. I do feel that Cathy could have been more angry after Carrie committed suicide, I expected more rage since in the book Cathy was nursing her anger and resentment since she left the attic. Her mother was always at the back of her mind, whereas here I felt as if that wasn't the case. I also noted that they didn't really have Cathy truly fighting her feelings for Chris as she did constantly in the book. Also it's been a while since I read the book but didn't Cathy actually fall in love with Julian and Bart, didn't she want to be with Bart and have a life with him until he told her he wouldn't leave Corrine? Here it seemed as if she jumped to Julian to get away from Chris and Bart was pure revenge.
  11. Would the Nights Watch be so different from the Kingsguard though? They swear similar oaths, although living in Kings Landing is probably a lot more comfortable.
  12. He probably sees a young Catelyn when he looks at Sansa, not the mature woman who was a mother and a wife. Sansa represents the girl from his boyhood. The one he fought a duel to win and now he sees the chance for a do over. Really creepy.
  13. I just rewatched parts of the episode, still find Oberyn declaring himself Tyrion's champion EPIC!! However, I noted that after Littlefinger kissed Sansa he had a look of... dare I say *passion* on his face, I think that is the most emotion we have ever seen from Littlefinger as he has always seemed so detached. Honestly in that moment I wonder if he was seeing Sansa or Catelyn. I also absolutely believe that he meant for Ned to die, why else would he have Lysa send a letter to Catelyn accusing the Lannisters. He must have known Robert would ask Ned to be the new Hand (an offer Ned couldn't refuse) and once honest Ned came to Kings Landing he just played his role.
  14. I thought they were heading towards the Eyrie, only because Brienne asked Pod if he was sure to which he nodded in the affirmative.
  15. No offense but the current Mountain doesn't look old enough to have killed Oberyn's siblings about 24 years ago, ( This is based off Jaime being 16 when he killed the mad king and he is now 40 ). Also how old is Oberyn ? Also the other skeeve factor, the way Littlefinger was touching Sansa's hair, *shudder* I wonder if he would be so fixated on her if she wasn't a redhead. I assume the actress is now 18 since they allowed that kiss in there. Honestly I don't know if I consider Arya a Stark anymore, she doesn't have much Stark like tendencies left.
  16. Agreed about Shireen, when Melissandre asked Selyse to look into the flames I thought she meant to have Selyse burn Shireen before the trip and bring her body along or some craziness like that. Shireen is in danger I just hope Stannis will protect her and if not him at least there is Davos.
  17. Jaime accepting to fight for Tyrion when he knew that he couldn't win wouldn't do them any favors. If Jaime died, Tyrion would still lose and I think Jaime wants Tyrion to stay alive. As much as I see Jaime progressing I don't see him purposefully giving his life away especially when it wouldn't save Tyrion just doom him. When Jaime jumped into that bear put it was all instinct, not a situation where he had to think about it. I didn't think he was being an asshole in that scene with Tyrion at all, while Tyrion was right to remind him that he will always be the golden son, Jaime may truly believe that Tywin would sacrifice any of them since Tywin just disowned him and criticizes him for much of their interactions. Also from Oberyn's little monologue, we find out that Jaime has been essentially protecting Tyrion from the cradle.
  18. Eww....Littlefinger kissed Sansa..*cringing*. Tonight confirmed what I have thought for a while, Littlefinger has transferred his feelings for Catelyn onto her daughter. That kiss was truly skeevy. All that being said, he also saved her life from his crazy wife, Lysa was about to kill Sansa for kissing her husband when she blatantly saw that it was the other way around. As for Robin, he almost seemed normal for a minute until the whole "when we are married, if you don't like someone I will kill them" part of the conversation. I was quite shocked that Sansa slapped him to tell the truth, didn't think she had it in her. I wonder what will happen to that bethrothal now that Lysa has flown out the moon door. The scene with Tyrion and Oberyn was the best of the episode, I felt bad that Jaime couldn't fight for Tyrion but they both knew he didn't have the skillset. You could feel the love between the brothers in that scene. Also interesting that Oberyn met Tyrion as a baby and also got some info about 4 year old Cersei hurting baby Tyrion only stopped by her brother. Tyrion looked so relieved. As for Bronn, I can't even feel bad about him, he was always upfront about who and what he was. At least they parted on amicable terms. Arya gets another kill, however I have a complaint..her story hasn't really gone anywhere. All she and the Hound have done this season (which is almost over by the way) is just wander around on horseback. Still it was nice seeing Hotpie again and it looks like Brienne is on her way to the Eyrie. Also is it me, or did Brienne look prettier in this episode? Castle Black nice to see Ghost again but otherwise a bit boring. So Danaerys finally got laid and interesting that she is using Hizdar (sp?) as her emissary..did like her line about living in the new world versus dying in the old. So her initial plan was to just kill all the masters, but Jorah gave her some good advice, killing the masters isn't going to solve the overall problem. Now she seems to using a bit more strategy. Also LOVED her dress in the "morning after" scenes. Actually something I forgot to mention, interesting that Tyrion tried using his position as Sansa's husband to sway Bronn, specifically mentioning, ruling the North in her stead. So I guess he still considers himself "married". So if Sansa is never found, could Tyrion, technically rule Winterfell in her "stead".
  19. I'm all house Lannister and I know they aren't good guys.
  20. I guess technically Tywin can call in his loans to the crown, except that he IS the crown. When the IB made the comment that Tywin was 67, I thought he was 27 when he had the twins, for some reason I am having a hard time imagining Tywin as a young man.
  21. Just a random thought about Jaime's in regards to his "smarts", I actually think Jaime is quite intelligent (not as smart as Tyrion) but he just is too lazy to exercise his brain power. I have thought that since season 1. That being said, Tywin totally manipulated the Tyrion situation to get Jaime to heel, a fact he realized during his conversation. I must confess though, that when he initially said that the line would live on through him, I thought he was about to confess that Tommen and Myrcella were his children.
  22. So how many titles have Daenerys racked up at this point. Took forever to introduce her, is that going to be said prior to every supplicant. I also find it ironic that Daenerys clearly dislikes the upper class while she herself is one of them and is using that birthright to claim the iron throne.
  23. I wonder how Jaime feels about having sex with and procreating with someone who isn't Cersei. I also found it interesting that Mr "so many oaths" essentially made another oath to his father.
  24. Soo Theon/Reek has been sleeping in a cage like and animal and hasn't been allowed to even take a bath. *shudder*.. I was also very tense with that bath scene, for some reason I assumed Ramsey was going to hurt Theon/Reek in some way but it looks like he is just using him per his father's instructions.
  25. You know, Stannis doesn't deserve Davos, he really truly doesn't. Davos absolutely saved his royal behind and got him the support he needed from the Iron bank, hopefully he doesn't mess it up. Shae, I won't lie, I actually *gasped* when they brought her out. Did not expect that in the least, poor Tyrion, he was so angry. I guess the Castle Black thing isn't going to work after all. Jaime should have just told him everything, that he agree to leave the Kingsguard etc.. However, I agree with the above poster, Tyrion was so angry that it wouldn't have mattered. Also I honestly thought Tywin didn't believe in the twincest but when he told Jaime to father children with the last name "Lannister", he knows. I also loved all the shots between Jaime/Cersei/Tyrion.. Tywin is still a bad ass...he gets Tyrion to forfeit his inheritance and gets Jaime out of the Kingsguard. He has a very self satisfied look to his face. I liked the scene with Danaerys and that slavers son, I liked that he told her his father spoke out against crucifying those children. I notice how nice she is to the poor folk and not so nice with the "rich" folk. I still see some Targ crazy, it's just waiting to rear it's ugly head. Why didn't Yara just knock Theon out and then take him with her. When he wakes up he will realize that he wasn't being fooled, however as traumatized as he is, he would probably try to get back to Ramsey.
