  1. Another 150th ep interview with Alex. This time from TV Insider. http://www.tvinsider.com/article/102126/hawaii-five-0-alex-oloughlin-on-150-episodes/ Sorry about all the separate links. Trying to edit in this forum crashes my iPhone for some reason.
  2. Alex says he wants to direct an ep in S8, if they get that far. http://collider.com/hawaii-five-0-alex-oloughlin-interview/?utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=collidersocial&utm_medium=social#images
  3. Totally agree--the ballot printer/writer must be a Trump follower. I just love the irony of it happening in the same state where she was once First Lady before becoming FLOTUS.
  4. I think she said she quit dancing after they got married. But I found it interesting her husband's co-hosting the show.
  5. From NBC News (this is a video): A ballot typo in Arkansas (of all places--Me) leaves Hillary Clinton with the word "liar" in her name. http://www.nbcnews.com/video/ballot-typo-leaves-hillary-clinton-with-liar-in-her-name-801114179565?cid=sm_tw
  6. Parade: Hawaii Five-0 Boss Answers Burning Questions About McGarrett's Love Life, Chin's Adoption, & More http://parade.com/521324/paulettecohn/hawaii-five-0-boss-answers-burning-questions-about-mcgarretts-love-life-chins-adoption-and-more/
  7. If you are/were a The West Wing fan, & are a Hillary fan, remember not to tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing! If you happen to, go outside, turn around 3 times, & spit. Just saying.
  8. I think it's great. Hopefully they won't need more than the allotted 2 hours to vote (I'm guessing they lose pay, or something, if it takes longer?).
  9. Honolulu Star Advertiser: 'Hawaii Five-0' Executives, Star, Speak with UH Students http://www.staradvertiser.com/2016/11/03/features/five-0-star-executives-speak-with-uh-students/
  10. New York Post: How 'Hawaii Five-0' Is Celebrating Its 150th Episode http://nypost.com/2016/11/04/how-hawaii-five-0-is-celebrating-its-150th-episode/
  11. Regarding the bolded. I did some quick Googling. Zach Sulzbach, who plays Danny's son Charlie Williams (the character's last name is officially "Williams", in press releases for episodes he appears in, as of this season), was born in Minnesota on July 16, 2010, according to IMDb (& he has a fraternal twin, Luke). So that makes Zach age 6. Zach's character, Charlie, was 3 (Danny said so in Ep 524, aired in May, 2015) when he was introduced in S5; the last time Charlie's age was mentioned (I'm pretty sure by Danny)--either last season when Danny told Steve Charlie was more grateful to Danny for donating bone marrow to him than Steve was for Danny donating half a liver to him, or some time this season I don't remember right now--Charlie was said to be 4 (so they might have aged him up, I think, because I think he was said to be 4 before the anniversary of the airing of the ep in which he was "born"). In canon the character was born in Ep 214, Puʻolo (Package), which aired on Valentine's Day, 2012. As for Londyn Silzer, who plays Chin's niece, Sara Malia Diaz, all I can find out about her online--including on IMDb--is that she has an older sister, Brooklyn, who plays (or played) Emma, the daughter of Drs. Patrick Drake & Robin Scorpio-Drake, on General Hospital. So I can't say how close in age she is to the young actor who plays Danny's son, Charlie.
  12. I didn't see the show, but it might've been her husband, not boyfriend/fiancé, if she was with an African-American guy. She's been married a pretty long time now; they have 2 daughters.
  13. Another 150th ep interview with Alex. This time with Entertainment Weekly. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/11/03/hawaii-five-alex-oloughlin-150-episode?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
  14. TV Guide interviews Alex about the 150th ep, Steve's relationships with Catherine & Doris (Different comments than article linked above; worth reading). http://www.tvguide.com/news/hawaii-five-0-150th-episode-mcgarrett-catherine-alex-oloughlin/?ftag=twtrsoshares
  15. For the first time in its 111-year history, the entertainment industry trade publication Variety has endorsed a Presidential Candidate. It's supporting Hillary. http://variety.com/2016/biz/news/variety-hillary-clinton-endorsement-1201905147/
  16. If anyone here can take advantage of this & wants to, the Hot Dog on a Stick fast food chain is doing a "Tell us who you're voting for & buy a turkey dog, get another turkey dog FREE" promotion. https://mobile.twitter.com/Hotdogonastick1/status/793893975643992065?p=v
  17. A couple of small things: Ainsley's last name was HAYES, not Hanes; President Bartlet was JED, not Jeb.
  18. George P. Bush (Jeb's son, who's apparently the Texas Land Commissioner) says his grandfather & uncle--Presidents Bush 41 & 43--could "potentially" vote for Hillary, but he doesn't know. He, however, is supporting Trump. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2016/11/02/bush-could-potentially-vote-clinton/93159658/
  19. She might be so calm because she's already been through this, this far into the process anyway, when her husband ran for election & re-election. Having experience with/knowledge of how it goes helps, I would think.
  20. A (apparently new) county clerk in Marion County, which is where Indianapolis is, apparently wasn't very up on their voting rules & told someone they could change their ballot before Election Day. That got people scrambling to verify, & it went all the way to a call to the county clerk for my home county before it was confirmed that no, you cannot change your ballot in Indiana once it's completed & submitted, just because you've changed your mind about who you voted for. Unless your ballot is considered "spoiled" (which is explained in the linked news item from my local ABC affiliate), once you've voted in Indiana you're stuck with the choices you originally made. http://www.21alive.com/news/local/You-cannot-change-your-vote-in-Allen-County-satellite-voting-centers-now-open-399548221.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter_21AliveWPTA
  21. If anybody needs a break on Tuesday night, & you (still) like/watch The View, they've been saying they're doing a special show, on Lifetime, that night (their home network, ABC, will be occupied with telling us who's winning & who's losing). It's at 9PM Eastern, on Lifetime. And if you need a break but The View doesn't float your boat, The Hill reports The Weather Channel will be airing a 9-hour "chill marathon" on Tuesday night. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/303805-weather-channel-offers-escape-from-election-coverage
  22. I can't find the original Tweet, but there was a pretty good 1 on Twitter that I saw yesterday. It said if you take all of the vowels out of RNC Chairman Reince Priebus' name, you're left with: RNC PR BS.
  23. I don't know if this strictly fits "political humor", because the show isn't strictly a comedy, but The View will air a special edition on Lifetime at 9PM Eastern on Election Night (their home network, ABC, will be occupied announcing election winners). Just posting in case anyone still likes that show/any of the current hosts & wasn't aware.
  24. On our early local news they mentioned that "satellite" voting started locally today, at 4 of our local library branches. Instead of voting early in person at our former City-County Building (previously the only location where you could go to vote early in person), you can now go to 1 of these 4 local library branches if you don't wanna go to the old City-County Building. News reports said there was a 2-hour wait at at least 1 of the library branches when it opened for voting. http://wane.com/2016/11/01/early-voting-opens-at-4-satellite-locations/
