I Googled the pertinent dates--it's easy if you know how. The nominations period for the 89th Annual Academy Awards (the ones whose nominees were announced today) was January 5th-13th this year. The Golden Globes, where she made the speech, were held on January 8th this year. I suppose it's a "draw your own conclusions" thing, as to how much Streep's anti-Trump speech & her subsequent nomination were related, depending on how many Academy members who bother to vote you think are early birds/vote closer to the opening of the nominations period or how many you think wait until closer to the last minute. The voting period for final nominations started 3 days before her speech & closed 8 days later, which was 5 days after her speech. Considering this is her record-breaking (breaking her own record, I believe) 20th nomination (with, so far, 3 wins--2 for lead; 1 for supporting), she's obviously an Academy favorite. Her nomination this year may be just as simple as that: She's an Academy favorite.

Someone in the "How to Legally Watch Stuff by Other Methods" thread (not the actual thread name, but close) said Amazon Prime already has S4 for downloading (at, like, $3 per ep, they said), so this is apparently the date when S4 can be streamed on Amazon Prime. But I'm pretty sure you can only do that, or individual ep/season downloads, if you're an Amazon Prime member.

I think this is the info you want. TVGuide says it's coming to Amazon Prime on February 15th--presumably for streaming since you've already said they have individual eps to purchase/download. During the DWTS absence referred to in the above Tweets, & at the beginning of November, it has been revealed, in the linked article, that Erin actually underwent 2 surgical type procedures for cervical cancer. @St. Claire, I read in 1 of the articles on his passing/his obits that they did incorporate Miguel Ferrer's illness into his NCIS: Los Angeles character/the show prior to his death, probably when they had no other choice but to do so because it had become physically noticeable though he wanted to work as long as possible. And I just realized I quoted the wrong reply. Apologies. I thought @kassa had referred to 1 of Miguel Ferrer's siblings I wanted to talk about, besides commenting to @St. Claire about her(?) answer, but in rereading my post before hitting "Send" I realized that I had misread which sibling @kassa had talked about, & it wasn't who I wanted to talk about.

And they're playing that out right now, with Philip & Elizabeth (the undercover KGB assets)'s daughter, Paige, being groomed (or at least the KGB bosses have asked that Philip & Elizabeth begin grooming Paige) as a "second generation", US-born, asset (who would be less suspected as a KGB asset because it's easier to prove she was born in the US than her parents were because her parents are using the identities of dead Americans)--though Philip, & even Elizabeth (who's the most loyal to the cause, if you will, of the parents)--seem to be reluctant to go through with actually grooming Paige to follow in their footsteps, & Paige has actually told her pastor that her parents are Russians (or actual Russian spies, pretending to be Americans), though it's really not yet clear if the pastor believes Paige.

Regarding the bolded, I rewatched the ep on the CBS app yesterday. What crossed my mind about the lag time between the explosion & Five-0's arrival on the scene was that perhaps the resulting fire was bad enough it took a long time (hours) to get under control & for the fire department to clear the site for Five-0 & HPD & any other investigators to start their work without being in danger themselves (shrugs).
