I’m so glad I started watching this. I had no idea it was a true story until the placard at the end of the first episode. Can anyone tell me the name of the podcast and/or how to find it. I’m guessing I shouldn’t listen to it until the series is over?? On another note, I totally adore Connie Britton, and she is amazing in this role, but it is killing me to see her being such a needy, desperate nitwit.

WTH was that. Wallace Shawn and Judd Hirsch were standouts, but the storyline was jumbled and bizarre. And Benson marching out indignantly because an old man used what is, admittedly, a slur. But, FFS, grow up. You’re an NYPD police Lieutenant. Shouldn’t you have a little thicker skin. For the record, many moons ago I was briefly engaged to a Jewish guy. When he took me home to Mama, she literately proclaimed “Get this shiksa out of my house.” I have worn that term as a badge of honor ever since.

SSM= Sainted Single Mother. I picked up the term in the Judge Judy forum used to describe the women who, for example, take money from a friend, relative, whatever, and renege on a promise to pay it back. Most times the excuse is “but I’m a single mother.”

I love that JJ called back to the case of that miserable, morally bankrupt piece of crap who sold the PICTURE of the phone. I think the SSMOT (love that) has had experience getting out of uncomfortable situations by playing the coquette. WHY she thought that would work on JJ is beyond me.

Maybe St. Olivia will get a clue, realize she is a commanding officer, and keep her spreading middle-aged butt in the station where it belongs instead of trying to run after teenager boys.
