  1. Recap says the guy was using the slop sink ti clean up, so no shower.
  2. Yea I am not sure about it either. I mean I have never once heard anyone say they go to Molly's for the food. They go there for the drinks and the atmosphere (cool cop/firefighter bar). Neither of those things can really be reproduced on a truck.
  3. But why the big stack of money in her front room? Plus EMT's have to make decent money at least in the world of the show. I mean look at that awesome 2 floor apartment Shay and Severide used to have. The Mills thing was weird. So he goes to meet his cousin and the guy is an asshole, but Mills is nice. Then the guy tries to reach out to him come to his work and possibly be nice, and Mills is an asshole. I get what his mom said but maybe the family is different now and is there any point holding a grudge for your long dead father?
  4. Your totally right his line about copying usually doesn't apply when companies actually show they have sales. I just watched the sock pitch and when Robert was asking them how they planned on taking their company to the next level, instead of talking about hiring a customer acquisition person I really wanted them to say "our plan is to go on Shark Tank and get our product exposed to millions of people, and then just watch as sales take off".
  5. I think they were letting him use the janitor's sink to clean up in. That said I do agree the the quirky law firm thing has gone to far. I mean like others have said why would you do noisy construction in the middle of the day. Although I can see a law firm having a shower. If they are trying to portray the image that they are young and cool, you have a shower so that people can bike to work.
  6. Nice! I would say Bones is right up there too. I haven't watched it in a few years, but the last season that I did watch it, the only way I made it through was to look at it as a Leslie Nielsen style parody of a good police procedural.
  7. You're absolutely right it would suck for those people too. I guess that is why in I imagine most places doctor's don't actually run hospitals at the top level. I would kind of love it if at some point this season someone said "You know Jones from Psych or Smith from Internal Medicine or Chang from OB would make a great addition to the board".
  8. I really wonder how this hospital is able to stay open. Between the shooting, the use of faulty gloves, and now the gurney's falling out of the sky and killing people, there must have been so many damn lawsuits that I don't know how they can pay anyone. Then again maybe that isn't a problem since I don't know why anyone would want to work there. Especially if you weren't a surgeon it must suck if you were in the top of your field in say OB or dermatology (two specialties they have) and know that you have no chance of ever sitting on the board because one seat went to Crazy Dr. Bailey or that guy who quit and then came back just because they are friends of the current board members.
  9. Kevin is usually all about jumping on people that don't have something that is unique and patentable. I am surprised he didn't jump all over the fact that he could start his own company and make the exact same thing for less than the valuation they were asking for. Also I really wonder if those people named their kid Maverick after the basketball team, after Tom Cruise's character from Top Gun or because they loved John McCain. Either way Maverick Parker seems like an unfortunate name.
  10. I like that idea. Although even worse would be if his sons were just run of the mill small time criminal/drifter types ( so still in a similar lifestyle to Jax) who want nothing to do with SAMCRO or their father. That would really hammer home the whole idea of what was the point of it all.
  11. Yea without actually hearing the type who is to know if Cary was talking in hypotheticals to actual drug dealers and giving them hints or if he was just having a friendly conversation about stupid people in movies.
  12. The only reason I kind of want Jax to live is because I am thinking of the whole fate worse than death outcome could be better than him just getting killed.
  13. I think Juice will die, but not before he tells someone what happened to Tara. I think Jax will probably take out the other gangs, but not before his most trusted guys (Tig, Bobby, Chibs, Happy maybe even Wendy) get killed. Then in the end it will be him with his super powerful club full of guys he doesn't really know, stuck with his terrible mom who he knows is evil for the rest of his life. I like the idea of being back where it started, but I can see it being a so much worse version of that where it is almost like a prison for Jax (can't leave the club because all your trusted people are dead (thanks to you)) and maybe can't even kill your mom because they your kids will have no one to look after them.
  14. Also if the SA had the information about Rojas and his club and the death certificates, why haven't they turned that information over to the FBI/IRS and why isn't Rojas in jail? Yes I know that Bishop is the big prize, but taking out one of his top lieutenants and hurting his ability to launder millions of dollars would be a pretty damaging blow to his organization. For that matter wouldn't a health club be a really bad business for laundering money. I mean I thought money launderers preferred cash only businesses like laundry or car washes or bars so that the revenue they bring in isn't traceable. Health clubs would be the exact opposite of that, since I doubt anyone would pay their membership with cash, and even if they did there is a membership information file attached to each person paying. The only way it would work I would think is if your membership list was all legit and then you had a daily non-member drop in rate, and that was where the dirty cash came in.
  15. How the hell did Taye Diggs recruit all those other lawyers without David Lee having any idea. I mean David Lee has always been a giant weasel, but he has also always been super paranoid when it comes to L/G power plays. He has had been very in tune with respect to rumours that fly around in that office. So this whole thing happening completely under his nose seems like a strech. I kind of prefer Bishop to Stringer Bell, at least so far. Mostly because I always thought Stringer Bell was kind of a dumbass and at least for now Bishop hasn't really shown himself to be a dumb drug king pin (not to say he won't). I don't get that either. I mean if Peter is self aware enough to realize that he can't sign the mortgage papers, how is he (or Eli) not aware enough to realize that if you are the head of a law firm that defends Chicago's biggest drug king pin, then running for State's Attorney might be difficult. The trust thing is interesting, I didn't even realize it. That said if they did get money from Chumhum that was supposed to go into a trust, couldn't they just walk into a bank and take out a loan for the 1.3 million they need and just use the trust account as collateral? I mean if you are the wife of the governor and that money is in the bank (even in a trust) you are probably a pretty safe risk for a loan.
  16. My wife still watches the show Blue Bloods (I dropped it a few seasons ago). But she mentioned that she watched it today and it reminded me of a big one. Even if you are the best whatever when it comes to your job, you will never get promoted. If you are the best cop in NYC no promotion, best soldier no promotion, best doctor sorry no promotion, best space ship captain nope no promotion for you.
  17. Not only that but back when it first started SOA was sort of referred to as The Sopranos with motorcycles. But it really isn't anything like that show or Breaking Bad. I mean the writers on both those shows realized that less is more. I mean Tony Soprano and his people weren't gunning down a crazy amount of people every episode. So when someone did get killed, even if they were a secondary or tertiary character or even an extra, it actually meant something. In this show there is a massacre just about every week. Considering that the Sons are on the radar of just about ever law enforcement agency how does that happen? I mean just put a cop or an FBI agent and have them follow Jax everywhere he goes, and in an afternoon you would have enough to arrest him and put him away for a long time. Also I am kind of surprised, with the amount of coverage the show got for guest stars this season including Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love how is it that I have seen essentially no coverage on the fact that Theo Huxtable is a hardcore outlaw biker and at the very least an accessory to murder.
  18. Also at the very beginning when Phil said "Go" they ran up the bleachers in Times Square, I am pretty sure each teams camera operator was at the top of the bleachers.
  19. I am not so sure about that. I mean the Wayne family was crazy rich. And you would at least think that crazy rich people would have all of their affairs in order, including custody of their kid, in the event that anything happens to them. If they don't have any immediate family I can totally buy that their wills said that Alfred would be named Bruce's guardian.
  20. I am curious to see how the save works. I mean we have a fixed number of episodes. But the save may or may not be used, so essentially there is a non elimination leg that may or may not happen. I mean what happens if they don't use it? I also wonder if the save is transferable.
  21. Speaking of Halstead and the USB drive, if you are giving it to Voight and you don't trust him, why the hell wouldn't you make a copy of the contents before handing it over. I mean you would have had to have put it in a computer to view the contents. And it is not like copying something on a computer is very difficult.
  22. One other thing I just remembered. I think Coulson might want to rethink his recruitment policy for new SHIELD agents. Because in the episode he said he needed to meet in person with new recruits to get a feel for them and make sure they are loyal to SHIELD. But one of the people in his own base is a HYDRA double agent. Not to mention they said that they can now monitor HYDRA communications. But again a HYDRA agent is in their base communicating with his superiors.
  23. So Triplett's cover at the base was General Jones. And his granddad was a Howling Commando. So is that confirmation that his grandfather was Gabe Jones? Because I think previously that was just speculation? A decent episode, some stupid stuff but enough action to make me mostly ignore it. Also is this the first time the jets in the MCU were actually referred to as Quinjets?
  24. Except for the fact that firehouse 51 has 3 fire trucks.
  25. Knowing this show, she will probably make Squad by mid-season (after winning over the guys in 66 with how awesome she is of course). Honestly I am surprised there wasn't any mention this episode about Hermann passing the Lieutenant's test. I have no idea how promotions work, but you would think with his level of seniority and now passing the exam, he would have a promotion fairly quickly. I always thought that was an easy way to get Gabby back at 51, you move Hermann over to Engine Lieutenant, and then have her working under him. Although considering they never mention the actual Engine that the fire house is named after (and Boden constantly talks about how his house has two Lieutenants) I won't be holding my breath.
