  1. The Sundance channel is having a marathon that starts New Year’s Day at 2 AM and continues until 4 AM on Monday. RIP Betty White 💕😪
  2. Check out the new Petco Christmas commercial! The guy in the commercial is really cute (“I’m definitely getting my belly rubbed after the holiday dinner”), but the golden doodle at the very end is even cuter! Great commercial.
  3. Yes Gramto6...That’s the one! And I do plan to get a roll of those to try them out the next time I go to the store, not only on your recommendation, but because I love their commercial so much! And thank you for your comment, by the way. PS. I am a gram to 2! I can’t imagine having six of them! You must be broke all the time!😀
  4. Here in Michigan, my two favorite commercials just aired back to back. The first one is for Kohl’s department store and shows a 10 or 12-year-old girl sitting on her front steps of her house watching as people go by on the sidewalk where she has drawn a hopscotch. They show people walking down the street and actually doing the hopscotch, and The look on this little girl’s face is absolutely precious! The second commercial I love is for Brawny paper towels pick a square, & the guy singing a little ditty...the last line is “When your labrador shows you too much love” & it shows a gal sleeping on her couch and her puppy comes up and licks her face! Too, too, cute! (My golden doodle once licked me when I was laughing and had my mouth open… Now that’s just gross!!) Anyhow, I don’t know how to do cut and paste for commercials, but if any of you know how to do that, I think everyone would get a big kick out of these two commercials! Very clever as well as heartwarming.
  5. I have actually quit watching ID channel and tlc channel for this exact reason.
  6. Bastet — yep, that’s the one. I’m on this forum fairly regularly, I don’t know how I missed it! Thanks for posting the commercial again. 😊
  7. I don’t know how to cut and paste a commercial that I just saw, but if you type in “Eargo Hearing Aid commercial,” I think you’ll like it! LOL!!!!
  8. Seasons...First of all, thanks so much for counting! I knew it was way down, and you know what my guess is? Tori didn’t have half as much screen time as she did the week before. And the good news is we no longer have to be subjected to the Dept. of Redundancy Dept. until next year, if at all. Regarding Zack & Jackson going up those uncarpeted stairs, I was actually cringing just waiting for one or both of them to fall!
  9. Thanks, seasons! Well, I plan to watch the season finale (thank God) next Tuesday but won’t be counting her incessant (your PERFECT description, btw) use of that word. However, because you thought about it, I think that it’s YOUR turn to do it! Oh, come on seasons! Let’s see if she gets any better! Pretty please?
  10. SO annoying, I literally (see what I did there?) deleted this episode I’d saved to my DVR after 20 minutes. I couldn’t like take it like anymore! Then a couple hours ago after I finished picking up my apartment, my curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to watch the whole episode on On Demand. I was certain Tori had said like at least 100 times by the time I shut it off. Well… As I watched it I wrote down every single time she said it. Anyone want to take a guess? From beginning to end of the episode, Tori said like 85 times! The producers of that show MUST have a talk with her! P.S. Do you think self quarantine has taken its toll on me? Was she REALLY a TEACHER?!?
  11. I’m Sweet Gypsy Rose (Mary Jo). I bought THAT record immediately!!
  12. I'm LOVIN' the eTrade commercials! https://www.ispot.tv/ad/IkYu/etrade-bow-wow-wow-song-by-george-clinton https://www.ispot.tv/ad/Iuiz/etrade-doggie-spa-day OMG, that Pomeranian getting the massage with his little tongue hanging out just kills me! My Goldendoodle, Maizie, does the same thing! Her "sweet spot!" And the Afghan Hound shaking her head after being perfectly "coiffed!" Too frickin' funny!
  13. I’ve lived in Oakland County, Michigan, since I was born. For the past 20 years (unbeknownst to me) I’ve lived six blocks from Barry King, the father of Timothy King, who was abducted and murdered. As a legal secretary, I temped for Barry King years ago several times. Every time I looked at him my heart hurt. Of course, I never said anything to him knowing he was Timmy’s father. He was a VERY sweet man, and very nice to me. My daughter was 7 years old when the child killings began in Oakland County. Last week when I told her about the upcoming specials on TV about the killings, she said what she remembers most is that she could never go outside without having at least two friends with her. It was a nightmare! I’m now 68 years old, and I don’t think in my lifetime I’ll ever know who killed those kids. but I absolutely believe BIG money is involved. I would love to hear all your opinions after you watch the program. P.S. I also temped for the first cousin of Aileen Wuornos! I actually did ask him about her, and he said she was a real nut case! Shocker!
  14. I hate these commercials, too! I just pray to God that we don’t have to keep listening to them until tax season is over mid April!
  15. For the first time in years, I quit watching Forensic Files several weeks ago due to the Scarborough fair commercial that played every 10 minutes. Does anyone know if it’s stopped yet?
  16. Funny! OMG - I actually laughed out loud at this one! When he picks up his dog?!? Too effin funny!
  17. LOVE everything about this commercial, especially the song/singer! https://www.ispot.tv/ad/wvMS/23andme-getting-to-know-you
  18. A man got on the bus with both of his front trouser pockets full of golf balls and sat down next to a beautiful (you guessed it) blonde. The puzzled blonde kept looking at him and his bulging pockets. Finally, after many glances from her, he said, "It's golf balls." The blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, thinking deeply about what he had said. After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, she asked, "Does it hurt as much as tennis elbow?"
  19. Yes, I did, Kathy24, and I was horrified, as well, about the torture and I agree w/you -- that conviction most definitely should've been overturned. This episode was disappointing to me because the murders were never solved. I prefer to have heinous crimes like these tied up in a neat little bow with the perp going off to prison for LWOP (or death row), hopefully giving the survivors at least some solace, if that's even possible. I still love the show with its amazing props ... vintage cars, etc., which are spot-on, in my opinion. Last night I had to smile when they showed a Royal typewriter that looked almost identical to the Royal I learned to type on! haha! Seriously! I got up to 70 wpm on that old sucker, which was a preface to what I would do for the career I chose for the next 37 years: legal secretary! ha! I'd be interested to know everyone else's take on last night's show.
  20. That poor little doggy! He obviously loves sleeping with them but it looks dangerous to me!
  21. Yep! That's the one, Janie! Thanks! I actually LOL'd watching that vid. Forgot it was "casual Friday." haha!
  22. Honorable mention for Geico...not a laugh out loud but giggle. The "changing of the guards" at Buckingham Palace. Guy in slippers, boxer shorts & ratty bathrobe shuffles up to relieve the present guard of his duties, proceeds to sit down in a lawn chair, falls asleep....pretty funny! (Sorry...too lazy to find the video.)
  23. Mindthinkr & Backformore - Thanks so much for your responses re: my pudgy Granddaughter. I sure hope you're both right that it may very well be a pre-puberty thing, and a growth spurt to come. That would be fantastic. She's just so damn beautiful (& I'm not just saying that) -- she has olive skin (Italian), great hair and HAD a darling little body until 2 years ago when she started gaining too much weight in a year's time, and not enough height to go with it. Thanks, again, for your responses. PS - pay no attention to that quote box - my mistake.
