  1. From seeing what I believe was a promo for an upcoming show, Amy was asking Chris something about “the next 6 months” (of their relationship). His response was most definitely non-committal, in my opinion. I was shocked she actually even broached the subject of “their” future, and somewhat surprised by his reaction. I may be wrong, but I don’t think Chris is going to be around for much longer. Did any of you see this? What do you think?
  2. Butterqueen - I came on here to comment about the Dateline on NBC last night, which was very good. Although nothing new, of course, it was nice to see Laci's mom and her great relationship to this day with Laci's friends. Was disturbing, however, to hear how long it takes for California to execute anyone on death row. Last one was over 10 years ago, & that asshole had been on death row for 23 years. Unbelievable. Was really hoping to hear about Scott Peterson's execution, but chances of that happening in my lifetime are apparently slim to none. Sigh. He's gotta rank up there as one of the most hated men in America. He is in my book.
  3. Agreed for the most part, KellsBells, tho there have been quite a few episodes that were pretty riveting. I attribute it mostly to the narrator(s) who speak in low hushed tones...oh so soothing to the ear, however, I'm seldom able to stay awake to the end -- then I have to google to find out whodunit.
  4. First of all, I resent even the title of the program, “Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery.” That ain’t no “mystery!” Had it on in the background while I was watching a giraffe pace slowly around her stall waiting to give birth. Anyhow, had to glance at the TV when I heard Cindy Anthony’s voice. Holy moly she’s put on some poundage & that skin-tight dress she had on didn't do her any favors…and that hairstyle/dye job? No. And what the hell happened to Jane Valez-Mitchell? Why IS she so pale? Was she using bronzer during the trial? She really looks kinda sickly. That’s all I’ve got to say about that. Call me shallow – I don’t care.
  5. This is an amazing story I found in today's paper. Check it out! http://www.wxyz.com/news/national/chicago-man-says-app-helped-him-lose-500-pounds
  6. My thoughts exactly, Kohola3!
  7. Tonight's episode featuring the transgender ... I'm so confused I don't even wanna go there. Moving on -- Kathleen, the blond gal who, when asked by Diane (consultant) where she wanted to "cap" the price at, Kathleen responded: "Absolute top 5 grand, including alterations." ... to which Diane says, "Then you're looking at $4,000 for the dress." In all the years I've been watching this show (I'm embarrassed to admit I've watched it past the first episode! ha!), I've never heard this before. Anyone notice this? I thought alternations were around $300.00. Apparently not?
  8. Last night’s Web of Lies “Playing Doctor” is yet another one that left me shaking my head in disbelief. That one gal actually stayed with him for FOUR YEARS?!? To quote a poster on another forum, “I’ll take ‘Shit That Makes No Damn Sense’ for $2,000, Alex.” And how could that asshole live so extravagantly having only relatively low-paying jobs? Anyone know?
  9. Kinda sorta off topic, but today I was so bored (& it beat the shit outta doing laundry), I actually watched a Hallmark movie! I can hear you all gasping now, but let me tell you what made me watch the whole thing! It's called "After All These Years" starring Wendy Malick. A murder mystery/comedy. Her husband of many years leaves her for a younger model & she's laying in bed watching TV & pulls up the TV guide on her remote. It shows Forensic Files, Snapped & Investigation I.D. Wendy's character voices over, "The only man that's been in my bedroom over the last 4 months is Peter Thomas from Forensic Files." Hey ... I go to bed with him damn near every night! Anyhow, it was pretty entertaining.
  10. Agree that was a pretty horrifying show, as was last night's Evil Lives Here about the horribly dysfunctional marriage of a couple who routinely beat up each other & husband even took their 2 young children outta their beds some nights to force them to WATCH their fights. Mannahatta - if last week's disturbed you, don't watch this one! I think this ep. was the last of the season, and I'm actually sorry to see it go. As I've said above, I think it's done very well & the stories sure are riveting. My only hope is that the season is ending REAL soon for Web of Lies for the sole reason that I absolutely am sick to death of the same g.d. promo for this program that's shown at least 3 times per hour on any given program on I.D. OMG I can't grab the remote to mute fast enough! (Sorry -- I know I've bitched about this before.)
  11. Shannon - absolutely agree w/you that the 1/2 hr. format was perfect - this longer show is so full of unnecessary drama & b.s. "filler" that I fast-forward thru much of it. I've only watched the UK version once, but that was enough for me...I'm done.
  12. My first thought at seeing him in that ridiculous blue vest was … WTF! Did he just get off work from his first job as a stock boy @ Walmart?
  13. OMG - almost coughed up a lung was laughing so hard at this one.
  14. OMG you guys are cracking me up!!!! LOL! I vote this in the top 5 best comments on this forum. Thanks, Mrsroperscaftan!
  15. This is exactly what I was thinking, too, Awfarmington. Yeah, this pissed me off big-time. Never ONCE did I hear him thank any of the EMTs. Unfuckingbelievable.
  16. Well, I'm certain all of you who watch I.D. are thrilled to see that there will be a THREE day "all night special event!" of the Casey Anthony Story: "The Untold Story" coming next month. Now we know for sure that I.D. is scraping the bottom of the barrel ... literally ... for ratings. WTF!!!! Seriously?!? Only thing that would make me watch is if they showed a segment on O.J. Simpson being released from prison as scheduled in June and his hooking up w/Anthony, A match made in Hell, to be sure.
  17. Okay, let's talk about Who Killed Jane Doe. First off, it's unconscionable to me how (on ANY of these shows) these apparently successful women wind up with such losers. Is the sex that great? The reason the murder wasn't solved many years prior was due to the medical examiner's estimation of the decedent's age was WAY off. They put her age to be 20-30 y.o., and she was 47 y.o. This is very good news for me, because if I'm ever found murdered, there's NO question I look my "stated age" of 65. So you see...good clean living CAN be a problem!
  18. Tonight's Web of Lies "The Child Network" about a web-based adoption process. Whoa ... just unbelievable this crap happens today. But the running joke between me & my significant other is "Well...if it's on the internet it must be true!" Years ago I was very active in a local Airedale Terrier rescue group. Having been born & raised (and being the proud "caretaker" at the time of two Airedales) I was asked by the head of ATRA (Airedale Terrier Rescue Association) if I would do "home checks" on prospective adoptions. Can't even begin to tell you how detailed it was (about 4 pages)! You mean to tell me this doesn't apply to CHILDREN?!? And that young cop that did the "wellness check" --- what a flunky HE was! One more thing....not sure if this is a Comcast cable thing or not, but can I mention how sick to death I am of the constant same promo for this show? Woman trying on a red dress & the perv watching her from her open curtains?? (& she texts him "I thought you were watching me") Okay...I watch WAY too much I.D.! (Who's fault is this?) ha!
  19. Ya gotta be kidding me! http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/03/05/oj-simpson-could-be-released-on-parole-this-year.html
  20. I laugh out loud to that one, too, Smith! Adorable ads!
  21. Only 10 minutes into Murder Comes to Town, but I've gotta hand it to I.D. -- they chose a pretty damn good narrator for this show. I like him! He's no Peter Thomas or Bill Kurtis, but he's definitely someone I'll listen to easily.
  22. I've got a rerun of Murder Comes To Town (that I've seen before) in the background while I'm doing stuff, but I'm looking forward to the new season that starts @ 10:00 tonight. I'm very sad that the narrator of this show died last year (Joe Alaskey), as I loved his narration. Hard to believe he also did the voices of Bugs Bunny & many other cartoon characters. I sure hope they got someone with a nice voice for this show, because it's a huge thing for me. I've never been able to watch "Snapped" or "Deadly Women" (to name a couple) for this exact reason (can't stand the women narrators' voices). I've always liked Murder Comes To Town, and it's due, in large part (in my opinion) to the narration. We shall see.
  23. Love the Snickers/Milky Way commercials. "REGERTS?!?!" LOL!
  24. For me, 5-10 minutes max of Forensic Files is every bit as good as any sleeping pill or Benadryl. Doesn't even matter I've seen every episode at least a half dozen times. :)
  25. Just watched tonight's Evil Lives Here "My Brother's Secrets" and must say I believe this is one of the best shows on I.D. I like how it's done in the "first person" with few actors, heartbreaking as their stories may be. Won't spoil it for anyone but it's a good one.
