  1. Just saw this one on TV - new to me, but when I went to copy it says it's 2 yrs. old. Anyhow, made me LOL.
  2. Kellyee - I'm sure I've never seen any women's breasts, nor a man's penis on this program -- they're "blurred." In my opinion, I think that showing how difficult it is for these people to do even the most mundane of tasks, i.e., taking a shower, is heart-wrenching, which is why they show it. As for what participant would agree to that? I'm certain they're told ahead of time that "private parts" will not be shown, and, to be honest, I don't think any one of us knows the amount of money these people are paid for putting their lives on display for the world to see. I'm guessing it's a tidy amount, but I've really no idea.
  3. I'm watching a rerun from 2014 ("For his Consideration," S11/Ep13) - cute little Hispanic bride-to-be with her mom & dad & a couple others in her entourage. Her dad goes "shopping" himself & picks out a dress for her & she tries it on. It's a Danielle Caprese (sp?), lacey but with a plunging (illusion) neckline. She's surprised her dad would choose this dress for her & tries it on first. She comes walking out in it & her dad comments that the front (plunging lace) kind of reminds him of a rosary. Randy says, "It's like a rosary?!? What church are YOU goin' to?" Randy then comments that he was raised Catholic & knows what a rosary looks like. OMG, cracks me up every time (I've seen this one before). Randy can REALLY be funny!
  4. When she missed her 2nd appointment with Dr. Now, then called him to lament she had nobody to help her, etc., he told her he needed to know her current weight loss and would make arrangements for her. The thought occurred to me after seeing the ambulance arrive to take her to a scale, with 5 or 6 attendants there to get her on the gurney & into the ambulance: wouldn't it have been far more cost-effective to bring a scale to her? Maybe because a doctor had to be the one to record the weight? I dunno -- just seemed really excessive for something so simple.
  5. I didn't understand about the brother's boat. Did I miss something?
  6. My sentiments, exactly, Millennium, which is why I said in my earlier post she "seemed fairly intelligent." Reminds me of a quote I once read: "Ya know that tingly little feeling when you like someone? That's common sense leaving your body."
  7. I was disappointed in the Web of Lies episode last night - "People You May Know" about the single mother looking for love on Facebook & finds a good-looking former model she's interested in with whom they have "friends in common." Okay...I've never been on Facebook, but the first thought that occurred to me was -- I'd be on the phone calling the mutual friends who know this guy to get some inside information about him. But nooooo....that doesn't happen. WTF!? She seemed fairly intelligent, too - studying to be a respiratory therapist.
  8. Auntjess - Three episodes of Snapped is on Reelz Mon.-Fri., at least for the next couple weeks according to my Comcast schedule. There's some true-crime stuff on there, too, but a whole lotta shit shows, infomercials, etc.
  9. Major pet peeve -- having to take off my shoes when going through security at airport!! I'm headed south for a few weeks and want to wear a pair of real cute flats on the plane. However, I absolutely refuse to go barefoot when going through screening. YUCK! So I've found the thinnest pair of ankle socks in my drawer, but of course, they're gonna stretch out my flats, so I've gotta balance on one foot putting them on right before. I know the second I'm done being scanned I can take 'em off, but what a g.d. hassle!!! Really? 65 y.o. small blonde lady flying with her 3 grandchildren under the age of 12. ARGHHHHH!
  10. Absolutely, Brat - you'd really have to suspend belief about either one of those girls being sexually active, especially after seeing the darling/heartbreaking pic of them in their cheerleading uniforms. I did a couple Google searches after the program, but couldn't find any mention of rape...only about DNA (which I think of as re: under fingernails and from sperm). Didn't they say in the program they found DNA on both girls' underwear? And if that's true - as you state - how the hell could he be convicted if it wasn't a match? The gun/shell casings - yes. I'm just not buying the sexual assault aspect, but I could be wrong (hard as it is for me to admit :) )
  11. Ya know, that's a very good question, Greenwave. I didn't recall any mention that they were molested on the MCTT episode ... I just remembered it as being a drive-by shooting, but my memory's not the greatest. I, also, found it strange that the DNA did not match Sweat.
  12. About 5 minutes into last night's Shadow of Doubt I realized it was yet another "re-do" of the story about the horrific murder of 2 young girls. In the fairly recent past, it was featured on Murder Comes To Town. I watched it even though I knew the outcome, but learned nothing new. Say what you will about Paula Zahn, but I recall reading an article about her show that stated she carefully chooses her stories to insure they haven't been done before. Of course, I still can only watch the first 10 minutes of her shows, then fast-forward to the last 10 minutes due to .... well, you guys know. I must admit, tho, I think she's slightly better this season -- maybe she's reading this forum?
  13. Remember this case that was on I.D.? If I recall, wasn't his motive that he was jealous of his friend's close-knit family? Or was that just the way it was "spun" on the show? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/01/23/man-convicted-3-murders-as-teen-kills-himself-in-prison.html
  14. Whoa -- that wasn't a very successful ending. I'll bet this woman will "beat" that gastric sleeve & be right back where she started. What a waste of time & effort. When her daughter started crying right before they took her to surgery, I lost it too. I really had hopes for her, but no more.
  15. Gotta admit, tho -- she sure has nicer clothes than anyone on this show we've seen yet -- in fact they're very pretty (if they were many sizes smaller, of course). Wonder what she's doing about her teaching job, but I'm thinking it's summer - school's out.
  16. Right now I'm watching Ted Bundy: A Handsome Devil on the Reelz Channel & it's pretty good. If anyone's interested it's on again tonight @ 10:00.
  17. millennium - Couldn't have said it better myself! (Which, BTW, is why I couldn't bring myself to watch one minute of it.)
  18. I've no doubt Leah Remini has received thousands of emails in support, but I think we should all applaud A&E Network for airing the series, which I will do in short order -- and hope all of you do, too.
  19. Oops...could only make it thru less than a half hour of Shadow of Doubt before I had to switch it off (turned to Turner & Hooch...one of my all-time faves!) due to unintelligible language by the actors. They had the dialog printed on the screen, but shit -- I don't wanna work that hard watching TV. Am I a bitch?
  20. I'm thrilled to see that tonight's the last night for the OJ debacle on ID. I'll watch Shadow of Doubt @ 8:00 then switch over to Leah Remini's Ask Me Anything Scientology segment on A&E @ 10:00 (which I'm very excited about...I believe it may be the last one for awhile.)
  21. OMG! You're kidding me!!! (haha) So did you watch it? Did anybody? Just curious.
  22. I haven't watched any of the OJ Simpson thing on I.D. Channel, but for those of you who have, let me know: Is OJ innocent?
  23. Surprised nobody's commented on tonight's "Scientology: A Student's Descent" on I.D. channel. (Hey...if it's on the I.D.channel, it must be true crime, right?!?...AND INDEED IT IS!) Not sure how many of you are followers of the Leah Remini series on the A&E network, but this program has shown, once again, the atrocities of this "religion" (cult) known as Scientology.
  24. I actually enjoyed last night's A Crime to Remember. I couldn't figure out whodunnit for awhile, tho I knew wife had to be involved somehow. Plus, I can't remember ever smiling like I was last night as the end credits/photos were shown -- for this or any other I.D. program. She was a piece of work, wasn't she? Gotta give the gal credit...she knew what she wanted, went after it & by golly she got it!
