I was expecting them to court for most of the season too. But hell no on the baby idea. 🤣

She’s a cute little thing. If their oldest was born last summer (summer 2022) a baby now doesn’t shock me. More than a year in between them, 2 under 2 is rough, but a lot of siblings are 18months a part.

I was going to comment something similar. Sexuality and sexual expression are complex, but the drives (or needs) most people have in their late teens-thirties, isn’t the same when they hit their 50s. Not to say older people don’t have sexual needs or drives (that would be ignorant), but a 20 something Kody likely had a very different sexual expression (along with desire for biological children) than a 50 something Kody who’s got 15 bio kids (I distinguish between biological and adopted children as sex was involved to get the bio kids). I’m sure that impacts how he has treated the OG 3. I could see this.

Yes, I understand not everyone is a pet person or is as in love with my pets as I am. But I wouldn’t want to live with someone who said such things about my pets whom I love very much. I know there are cultural and personal differences how people view pets, but the dog is important to Ashley, if Manuel loves her as much as he claims then he would not make such comments. I would not be surprised if this was true.

Manuel and Ashley have known each other for a while (they met initially when they were both teens)- she always knew he had children, she was upset that he didn't tell his kids/their Mom that he was in the USA to marry her, and she commented that she hadn't met them, but she wasn't surprised they existed.

I agree. Danielle has a right to be mad that other women were sleeping with her husband, especially if they knew he was married, but that doesn’t make them a misogynistic pejorative. She can be angry and upset but direct that at Yohan who’s the person deserving of that anger. Yohan doesn’t want to discuss it because he’s done and doesn’t care about Danielle, I don’t think he loved her. I think he liked her and thought life would be easy with her, so he gave it a shot for a little bit until he likely got fed up or found a better mark. I have little patience for Kimberly and her hysterics but I felt for her. Talking to TJ at that time was like talking to a brick wall, he wasn’t ever going to give her any sort of emotional support. Why did they get married again??

I do Giving Tuesday. Usually I will donate money to PawsChicago or Best Buddies. A friend of mine has a December birthday and usually collects toys at her bday party for Toys for Tots. I agree- undergarments are a much needed and under provided item. That and toiletries along with period & incontinence products are needed by so many. How thoughtful for you to donate.

I send out a Christmas card with all of my pets, and I like getting them. My sister LOVES them and keeps them safe in ziplock bag, so my friends will often send two (so she will have one of her own). I think it’s fun to show people you’re thinking of them at the holidays, but whatever brings people joy. I agree no one wants to see a picture of Amy’s buttocks. It’s a cute photo but not exactly holiday themed.

People have sex for all sorts of reasons- often it has nothing to do with love or affection. You can be interested in partnered sex with people you are not specifically attracted to for a variety of reasons, the social conquest, the desire for biological children, boredom……. I do think Kody was “hot for” Janelle in a sexual sense for MANY years. They may have never been “in love” but they enjoyed each other’s company and it was sizzling. He treated Christine like crap and made her doubt her ability to KISS for goodness sakes. He’s an asshole. I think he was fond of her though. Before Robyn came along, Meri had his emotional energy, Janelle likely had his sexual and Christine got the left overs, but I don’t believe he didn’t “like” her at all. That’s a lie. Yes- I think plural marriage can work, but if you want your marriage to be based on romantic love or deep emotional intimacy, it’s not happening. It’s doomed to be unsuccessful.

Liliana was in the original Power season 1, she got the scar and they sent her to chicago because she was so recognizable. That was Ghost’s idea because she proved her loyalty not going to the ER etc.

Yeah, this is an instance where I feel Ashley has her head in the damn sand. Manuel has TWO minor kids, and an entire family to support. Of COURSE he has to send money back, $300 is not unreasonable. She knew he wasnt going to be able to work for a while after he arrived. Is this a bad storyline or is she really that obtuse? When people choose to get married, they agree to support one another finanically, especially since Manuel CANNOT work right now. What did she think his family was going to do without his income? A couple of people have mentioned that in various reaction channels I watch. 1. The sister may have a partner/kids and said "nope". , 2. has it been confirmed they share a mother? I have not seen the sister address Clayton's mom is her Mom, she may not be.

I’ve always heard that used as a euphemism for sex in “polite” company. It might be a generational thing (my great aunts used that word all the time in that context).

I forgot to state- if we are going to have scenes of sexual tension between Peggy and Thomas- let his wife leave him or something. I don’t like putting our Peggy in such a position. She’s been through enough, the last thing she needs is the scandal of being in a compromising position with her married boss!

I’m kind of terrifed she will become pregnant. She’s what? 38-42? And she was married to an old man for so many years HE may have been the reason she doesn’t have kids. Although I think she would do better falling for a Dashiell type- a guy in her peer group who’s a widower whom can socialize with her openly. She’s certainly pretty and wealthy enough to attract her pick of a guy 40-50 who’s handsome and on her social level. Likely she was married in her late teens or early 20s to an older man whom she didn’t enjoy being married to much. Not saying he was awful or abusive but it wasn’t personally fulfilling. Now she can do what she wants when she wants with her money. I do think her affection for Larry was genuine but she’s right, she’s still got more to lose. She has a lot of life left and doesn’t want to be shunned by society when this all blows up.

I don’t think Larry is necessarily a virgin but I could see him never being in love or having had a serious courtship. He is getting older-I can see him wanting to be with someone. Also like Gladys he was raised by parents who were a love match and still hot for each other, I could see him wanting that for himself.

I agree @RachelKM. I said to my Mom as we watched this episode, did Peggy have any “plain” clothes to wear. Her dresses and hats are so nice she’s going to stick out like a sore thumb and attract the wrong kind of attention. I am terrified for her.

Looks as if I was right and it is arthritis. The vet appreciated the video I took of him on the stairs. She is going to start him on two meds- one dose a day to see how he does before either upping the dose or moving to injections. His blood work can determine if he can stay on the meds the rest of his life. He had some sensitivity around his spine and the right back leg but good range of motion she said. He made his weigh in at a slim trim 73.8lbs😁 (when he came to me he was 92lbs). It’s been a long day but I’m glad he’s going to be okay.
