  1. So easy access to drugs and tropical vacation spots ?? 😉
  2. This. It is like the Moclans were invited to the club (the Union) but they were called bigoted when they act like themselves. If their culture was so repulsive to the other members of the club why invite them in to begin with? She was around Locar for far shorter time and she chose to understand his way of thinking. Is it too much to expect a senior officer of a Union ship to understand the cultures of its diverse crew members ?
  3. One thing for sure, Talla portrayed the Xelayan superiority complex perfectly. Once she determined Moclan to be inferior culture, she treated Bortus, Klyden, and Moclan captain with little to no respect. Very similar to how Alara's father treated the military (and Alara by extension). There was no room for understanding the other side, it was just judgement, judgement, and more judgement. Heck, Talla most likely would not have apologized to Bortus had he not been her superior officer. The more the show looked into the Moclan culture, the more I did not understand why Moclan joined the Union. They seemed to be treated as quasi-outsider. From Mercer's off hand comment "why is it always the Moclan" (in ep2 I think) to how Talla treated Bortus, Klyden, and Moclan captain like they were 2nd class citizens. Aren't these different races supposed to work together in the Union? Did the Moclans join the Union much later than the other races? I know Bortus is pseudo-Worf, but the way TNG treated Klingons / Worf made sense since the Klingons and the Federation were enemies just prior to TNG. OTOH, on Orville, I did not sense any past resentment between the Union and Moclans. The line "we are the weirdest ship in the fleet" immediately came to mind 😄
  4. Am I the only 1 who think that was way too much of a coincidence? Purcell was released just like that after being interrogated as if he was a prime suspect. I think the bad guys played the game 2-3 moves ahead of the heroes. So everything lead to Hoyt chicken factory. I am not sure why the man with a deadeye was so interested in Amelia's second book. For that matter, how the heck did he know Amelia was thinking of making a second book. At this point, even Wayne barely knew about the 2nd book. I think Amelia is in this conspiracy deeper than we / Wayne were lead to believe. And I think Roland, Tom, and that police turned head of security were gay. IIRC 1 of the notes between brother and sister said something to the effect of "do not listen to them". Also adult Julie seemed to think her brother was alive when they left him, which was confirmed by that teen who saw the brother looking for her.
  5. This will sound mean, but I am glad in this show Sheldon got a consequence for his actions (stirring fights, hurting the bully) at the end, unlike in the other show featuring Sheldon.
  6. Best Superbowl commercial. Hands down
  7. The acting in this episode was superb as many pointed out. I also found the use of time jumps to show Wayne's dementia to be excellent. I love the sequence where 90's Wayne went upstairs with his family, cut to 2015 Wayne looking for his family amongst the rooms only to see the 90s family from outside of the master bedroom. Then we went back to 90s Wayne's POV looking at the bedroom door as if he looked at his future self, looking at his family, then looking at the roof window, only to see the reflection of his 80s self. Brilliant! Although now I wonder how much of Wayne's memory actually happened versus his wishful thinking. Maybe she liked creepy? Per last episode, them couple seemed to still enjoy walls in the 90s ;) Half burned sweater found in the trash. Which was most likely planted as well. That thing should have been burned all the way given how deep in the ash it was located when the cop found it.
  8. Yep, IIRC 1 of the characters even said see you in launching bay or something to that effect
  9. That was the most practical use of the simulation room / holodeck I've seen. Just change the room before "desert".
  10. I am hopelessly addicted to Cocoa Dusted Almonds from Costco / Kirkland. :P
  11. We are 1 episode behind, so these are just a few comments I have for episode 1-3 - Susan Boyle could not have been more deflated when she got the golden buzzer :D She probably did the AGT:C as a favor for Simon and only expected to make 1 appearance. Now she has to do at least 1 more :D :D She does not need the show, TBH - I was rooting for Darci Lynne to be voted through just so she could go head to head with Preacher Lawson again... and win again.... :D :D :D Just because I think that would be funny - Howie wasted his GB on Hale, bleh. Any of the final 3 acts would have been better IMHO - Preacher had the funniest set out of all comedians in these 3 episodes. - Viktor Kree would have fared better in episode 3. The talents were stacked in ep 2, compared to ep3. Little kid DJ? Daredevil duo? C'mon!! - Simon pretty much dismissed contestants from shows that he did not judge (older AGT seasons included). Those contestants had to be impressive for him to be on their sides. OTOH, people he already knew had much easier time with him.
  12. Hmm, I thought Trash Man was baiting the redneck guy. TM talked to presumably redneck's daughter(s) right in front of the redneck's house.
  13. I sincerely hope YS is an alternate dimension version of Sheldon from TBBT. They may share things in common but the history and lore are not going to be 100% in continuity. Heck, TBBT does not even have a good track maintaining continuity within its own show especially in the later years. Why should a spinoff show be required to adhere to all of TBBT backstories??
  14. One minor gripe: the priest saying if Hays went to services bugged me to no end. Catholics call it a Mass, especially when talking to another Catholic (Hays already told the priest he was a Catholic by that moment). Anyway, the acting was great like usual. Amelia seems to be a person who solves any marital problem with sex Presumably those 2 fight & make up a lot??? Maybe the kids just noticed whenever their parents got angry, they would be fine after the thump thump thump sound. They might not know what the sound was all about.
  15. I did not even smirk once and I used to like this show I am just watching this series for completeness sake since they promised this would be the final season :D Worst, they just had to shoe in a reference to ST:D. And yes, I am aware this was most likely a corporate narrative
  16. Somebody in main thread suggested the girl's biological father was the one kidnapping the kids. He/she also suggested that someone else killed the boy. I think it is highly possible the bio father was the kidnapper and this bio father could be related to the rich factory owner. The mom just happened to work there in the past. However, I disagree that the boy was murdered. I don't think the girl would have come willingly knowing her brother was (going to be) killed. I think the boy's death was an accident, ie he fell off a cliff while running. The kidnapper(s) and girl "buried" him in that cave, hence the praying pose and the dolls as markers for people to find him. I also think Hayes and his partner figured out the truth when they re-opened the investigation in the 90s. They decided to bury the truth and cover up the evidence surrounding the mysterious sedan. I think Hayes forgot about this cover up due to his dementia in present days. He may be undoing his own cover up and reasons behind it by the end of the series.
  17. More questions than answers in this episode. I wonder how much Hayes' dementia played tricks on him in regard to his present day investigation. In previous episode, it was clear that they got the wrong guy for the murder in 1980. Hayes was most likely exiled to a desk job shortly after arguing against whoever decided to convict that wrong guy. I hadn't thought about that angle. I will put my speculations and respond to yours in the appropriate thread ;) Whatever the reason was, it was strong enough for her to propose an all night sex session with him 10 years later :D
  18. I am calling the State?/Federal? Attorney guy part of the pedo ring in season 1. He is just a red herring though and not the real kidnapper/killer. He probably thought the girl was kidnapped by the ring and tried to make the search difficult. I mean, who the heck blow up an important lead like when and where the girl got that doll ???
  19. I happened to catch this episode and guessed Terry Bradshaw as the deer was singing. That voice is unique :D Nice roster of B? / C? class celebs as judges / commentators from the past. Robin Thicke looks more like his dad as he gets older. Has Nicole S always had that much make up on?? When PCD were popular I was too distracted by her other assets to pay attention :P :D :D :D
  20. I am back !!! :P This season is shaping to be a good one a la season 1. I just could not pull myself away from the screen. The acting was superb and there were so much chemistry between the 2 detectives and also detective & teacher (I can't remember names :P) I like how the racial tension is not the focus but still in the background (both for the detective and the teacher) I could not understand the old / present day without subtitles, but the 80s & 90s versions were fine I thought that was just a technique to rattle the kid by associating him with devil worshippers I thought the look was along the line of "you are right son", referring to earlier conversation when the son told him the TV director did not care about the the case, just about her own TV program
  21. It was their old high school. Tommy knew Angela & James' usual meeting place from way back. All he needed to do was wait. Love the scene with all 4 in their old highschool classrom :D
  22. Finally caught up with the episodes. Since I watched ep 4 & 5 back to back, I could really tell how the return on Riq the idiot sucked any enjoyment I had with the show :( That kid is just dumber than a sack of potatoes. Kanan grooming Riq was icky last season and it is still icky now. Bleh! Liked how Tommy laid it down on Riq, too bad Riq is a slow learner. "Loyal to your own cause" HA!! Damn good summary of both father and son That wrong cake scene was nicely done. Tasha did order strawberry cake (instead of chocolate) at bakery, but I thought Riq just liked strawberries. As dumb as Riq, I could not blame him for getting mad at Ghost. This was the 1st birthday after his daughter's death and the dude chose to do dick measuring contest at his club. Seriously?? There is 85% probability next episode will open with James & Angela sexy time scenes :D :D :D
  23. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is BACK baby!!! 12 episodes season on the Disney streaming service: https://www.starwars.com/news/sdcc-2018-the-clone-wars-to-return
  24. Angela was practically celibate last season, no? She broke up with Ghost and her cop boyfriend was murdered by the dirty Prosecutor guy
  25. He was smart wnough to notice Dre kept answering for that new gang leader guy. He also said Dre was obnoxious (in Spanish).. Lol! Also, I am calling it. Angela's new bf is already bought by the Cartel.
