  1. Probably aired during the scenes I missed. Thanks! So his role so far, is to witness George's behavior with regard to Ross' and chime in at critical times? Tough role for a kid, what is he 5 yrs old now or in the time shift, how old is he supposed to be? Upon reread of your post ^^, does this mean the 🎶 Dum Dum Dum 🎶 Paternity secret may be soon exposed? Is this what one poster upthread said was the Game Changer episode? Never mind, I may just boost up Poldark on my tv schedule.
  2. Thanks! Still haven't seen the whole thing yet. With Ned's story and all the courtroom shenanigans, I'm unfortunately, not enthusiastic about that prospect. The worst of the scene changes, the constant glimpses and sometimes a close up, of Valentine AT COURT!!! Why the glimpses and close-ups of a small boy WHO SHOULD NOT BE THERE?
  3. Shit, my DVR pixelated the shit out of the last 5? minutes and then jumped to the end with nothing but noise in between. The last scene I saw was Zacky, Drake, and Demelza, discussing what they should do about the men Demelza spied carrying large sacks onto boats. Now, it seems that Ned died?? Fuck!! I'll have to see if another streaming device managed to catch the complete episode. Oh, I did see Supreme Asshole George Warleggan admit that he had no opinion on the evils of the slave trade only that it was essential to the Crown's fiscal survival and that he only argued for it because he was told to by Hanson. Wow, George, you're a real deep guy. I also saw Tess slither herself onto Sam's arms. LOL; girl, Demelza just needs to flat out Bitch Slap you now! Show, I don't want to see Morwenna "making up for lost time"!. It's a miracle that she can't get enough of Drake after years of suffering. Now we know, just kidnap a child and return him, very cathartic. Note: The PBS app on one of my streaming devices will allow me to rewatch the episode. It appears that I missed a hell of a lot more than the last 5 minutes. I was wondering why scenes shifted so illogically.
  4. Nice transcription. Thanks for this. I haven't seen the episode yet, but the dialog, while fascinating and well written, is in keeping with the dialog of previous episodes. It appears Mary and Alice are getting the best lines, while Kate gets the drab ones. It's either her lines or her delivery that keeps me from truly enjoying the full Batwoman performance.
  5. How odd, I took that scene as a totally menacing tone towards Tess. They first passed each other by, I don't remember if Tess said anything to indicate interest, but I do remember Ross turning around and calling her name. Then he read her the riot act. She might have had to change her nappies after that.
  6. Damn, I'll probably spring for the Blu Ray series if they manage to successfully transfer to the newer format. Thanks, @Anduin. That's great news.
  7. This is an interesting angle. What did Tess do, in your eyes, to indicate she wanted to seduce Ross? I never got the impression that Ross was of any interest to her. To me, her animosity began and ended with Demelza declaring that she would try to find work for the miners. For some reason, Tess felt the need to open that damn mouth of hers that sows bitterness.
  8. LOL, Prudie always seemed to come out on top of her fights with Jud. I'm sort of torn about Prudie. I don't really like her as she seems very judgmental. I disliked her ratting out Ross kissing Elizabeth without having all the details. Her distaste for Kitty seems purely racial, again with the Coloreds (or Africanus Niger) trying to rise above their station. Prudie sees Demelza, Caroline, & Kitty pal around and still thinks Kitty should be excluded from polite company. She should at least try to talk to Kitty. I guess her behavior serves some purpose, although what that purpose is, I have no clue.
  9. That's where Demelza and surprisingly, Prudie come in. Prudie used to have the same regard for Demelza as Tess, but since then, she's now protective of the kids. If Tess wants trouble, Demelza and Prudie are on their guard. If they want, they could convince the other miners that Tess is making trouble and preemptively strike. Ross already warned her that he is not as forgiving as Demelza is and he will deal with her and she won't like the results.
  10. I don't think they should hang for this one-time offense, but Tess better scramble and make sure there are no more errant forged bills in play, otherwise she'll swing. What I'm curious about is why is Tess so against Demelza? She was impudent from the start and it seems like more than just envy or jealousy. She seems to think Demelza is all high & mighty, when she's the exact opposite. She pre-judged Demelza despite Demelza's attempts to change her lot in life by offering her work. Yet, when unobserved, Tess checks out Demelza's dresses and even intimated to Prudie that she could be the mistress of the house. Well, which is it? Is Demelza acting above her station and if she believes so, why covet Demelza's life? I have no clue if Tess started the fire, but it appears that she was the one. But why? She's working a farm and given food and a roof over her head, why destroy that? Tess, is just a plot-foil to make Demelza's problem-solving capabilities more apparent.
  11. You're not the only one. This show is riddled with interpersonal relationships that are scattered throughout. I can't tell the players without a program. Kate seems to lack the ability to look forward. She should not have even begun a relationship with Reagan knowing that she had other self-imposed responsibilities, but I guess she had to go through the process to learn by mistake. With regard to Sophie breaking Kate's heart, you're mostly correct how it went down except there was a bit more. I think it was because when Kate decided not to continue the lie of pretending there was no illicit relationship. I believe Sophie chose to deny the existence of ANY relationship and did not back Kate up, thus breaking Kate's heart. She officially denied their love.
  12. Good question. That moment when Granny, who surprisingly seemed to have a human emotion for once, may be the beginning of the arc of restoring John Conner to his birth mother. Ozzie's mom, stuck by Morwenna"s sadness at the loss of her child, will gradually prove that she has a heart.
  13. My MVP for the episode was Zacky Martin for the win!! He set loose the dragon that is a pissed off Demelza. Ned is too stupid to realize that people are trying to get him arrested again. Ross, listen to your friend Dwight, Ned's plight will bring everyone down with him including your wife and kids. Why did George feel the need to bring Valentine to London? Thankfully, we didn't get to see Morwenna and Drake consummate their marriage, we've had enough of that when Ozzie was alive. Drake, what the fuck were you thinking kidnapping a child??
  14. Nice to see Poppy Drayton from "The Shannara Chronicles" again. She's already listed as a regular for season 2. This episode was somewhat confusing. Did Mel and Harry give up their powers to keep Katrina worm-free?
  15. I think Mrs. Tish had to undergo court ordered psychiatric counseling. The counseling taught her to snap the rubber band on her wrist if she had disturbing thoughts. Obviously, it didnt help.
  16. I see your point. But I see it like this: It depends upon what they offer in terms of compensation. Freeform intended to cancel. If I'm a cast member, if Disney came around and indicated that they would like to keep as much of the cast as possible before greenlighting picking up the show, I would compare my options and if no other studios were clamoring for my services, I would easily jump on board.
  17. Cancellation by Freeform. However the contract thing would also be the case if another studio picked up the show and offered new contracts.
  18. Is this a Hulu/Disney+ future target? The Disney Co. & Hulu can sure sweeten the pot by picking up "C & D". How firm is the cancelation?
  19. It appears the EP's of this show have allowed Rachel Skarsten to steal this show right from under Ruby Rose's; as Alice/Beth is liked more than the lead. I'm hoping the show can somehow get Ruby Rose to emote more. She's terrible and I look forward to more scenes with Alice/Beth gobbling up screen time from Kate.
  20. Having seen the "Next time on Poldark" preview, it appears that whole sad situation is about to get worse, and may end up in tragedy.
  21. I wonder if she'll eventually replace that Gasbag Grace, as Ben's love interest. If so, that knocks out my favorite doctor/passenger. Nobody seems to be looking forward to see who got shot? We all figured it wouldn't be Brows, but looking at the direction the gun was pointed and Brows made her dramatic entrance pretty much an open Target for a stray bullet, Brows may be due some hospital time. Probably have ex and best friend fight over visiting privileges.
  22. Chiming in on this; yes, I too thought Nick and Grace were endgame especially when Grace ran off and told her best friend, who Nick was dating at the time, that Nick wanted to break up with her. Also, I thought Nick was a little jealous that his arch nemesis was sniffing around Grace.
  23. Ringing endorsement. I'm not even sure putting it with "Supergirl" is doing it any favors. Ruby Rose, for all her advanced hype is sort of boring as an actress.
