  1. Oh, I forgot to answer your question. Yes, Henry tased the shit out of Nikolai. and yes, I cheered. I also cheered when Townes wanted to kick the crap out of Coles, for laying hands on Henry. Townes almost got thuggish! (That was hard to say with a straight face)
  2. Not having daughters I would have thought a daughter would tell her mother if anyone, although my sons get up to some hinky shit and don't tell me, but they DO tell their mother and SHE tells me when she feels like it. So, a long, circuitous route. I feel for you, Shapeshifter, having three daughters while fulfilling, can be a strain and that's without boys in the picture.. I really wish Henry would confide some more in Jenna. Those two have a serious chance of filling in their emotional voids with their friendship. I wish Henry would open up her mind to help from others. She's a little mentally stupid in that she pushes everyone away even when they're trying to help. I can understand with Townes and his sidekick mentality and hero worship, but Jenna has only shown concern for Henry and Henry just keeps pushing her away. The girl tried to kill the man that was trying to abduct her annoying step-sister, show some love, don't be an idiot. Someone up thread remarked that Henry didn't trust Nikolai when all he was trying to do was walk her through the truck's damage. I can't say that I blame her. Nikolai clearly beats her in the teleporting ability and she knows what damage she can do in that truck, no telling what he's capable of and a total stranger to boot who abducted her father. Nah, I would pass too.
  3. A crush on another female means they're gay???? Maybe she just likes her. Naive of me? Perhaps. She seemed to be unsure of her feelings for "biceps" and she appears to have been a virgin, so my Gaydar is malfunctioning. Hell, I'm all confused, I started to think Ms. Amish Mom, was going to replace her incarcerated hubby with Lucas and take him to bed.
  4. TBH, I didn't really think Ben and Jo should be an item, I was just throwing that out there just to start some shit because there was the Emily/Chris early shipping. Ben does NOT seem to be of any interest to Jo, she has more chemistry with the nurse, Abby. I can ship them, but not Jo with Ben. I'm not feeling the Jo/Alex (ex-husband) thing. They've been there and done that and it didn't stick. Them getting back together is confusing to everyone.
  5. @Lao. Have you tried watching through the Acorn TV app instead of the web site? Through the app, Series 6 airs just fine. I just looked at series 6 episode 2 and I had no problem.
  6. I already disliked Bert, STRONGLY. That move now puts him on my "he needs to die list". That shit is shady AF.
  7. Talk about intrusive reporters. The Reporter on the show "Siren" actually kidnapped the subject of his investigation. Talk about arrogance and intrusion. Owain Yeoman wasn't as popular as Cho even though Cho was such a stickler. Cho always cracked me up with his deadpan humor. The reporter (Ben) blew it by showing up at Jo's house with pastries. Don't do that, it's creepy. Don't be creepy.
  8. Nobody is shipping the reporter and Jo?? We've got Chris and Emily already, yet no obvious shipping of those two?
  9. I can say, I agree with you as far as having seen worse, but they both are alive and have a stupid communication problem, Henry and her mom are both stuck in their own little worlds and they could both use a jump out of their selfish lives. Both claim to love each other yet can't seem to talk to each other. When your daughter can't tell you that she was nearly raped, you're clearly doing things wrong. (Unless that's a thing and I'M clueless). When Henry can't simply sit her mom down and say, "Mom, shit is going down around me and I think Dad knows something, let's talk!" Why talk about anything else except what's happening now???
  10. Thanks for the reminder AND hanging in there. My guide says, "Good Witch: Curse from a Rose" (2019) [Cute, it would be nice if Seal actually sang during the episode] . Cassie's long-lost college roommate, Autumn Delaney, makes an unexpected visit to Grey House on a mission to disrupt Middleton's Halloween festivities.
  11. YouTube TV announced that all of their Original Programming will be free for some time. I forget how long, but then that report also claimed YouTube TV had something like 20 million subscribers. I gather the writer meant YouTube account holders or Gmail account holders because I doubt YouTube TV has 20 million subscribers.
  12. While I DO get the feeling that Jenna's feelings are not reciprocated for the jock, I don't have the feeling that Jenna is a closet lesbian. I must not be paying as close attention as I thought. Although, Townes is driving me up a wall with his incessant chattering, FUCK he's annoying. I seem to tolerate Henry's asshole behavior better than Townes.
  13. Did Bert try to grab Ken's hand to sign Ken's name to the contract while he lay dead on the bed?
  14. Did anybody else have a problem with this last episode? It was jarring to have the whole story hijacked to give us Nikolai's back story. I know Henry can be irritating as hell, but I prefer to stay with her story and not get sidetracked. At least we know that Nikolai has some humanity in him. I guess the people who are in charge have hooked him to that drug, to keep him in line and to have a hold over him. It just makes me curious what his mission is. Is he just a recruiter/HR person who kills errant jumpers? Is he remembering his early life and trying to guide Henry to a better future than his?
  15. Ah yes!! Abandonment. Thanks for the reminder. Just leaving the A.I, in the woods is what people do to cats they no longer want. I guess that's better than the garbage bin. He promptly met Gigolo Joe in the woods. Horrible, sad movie. Not in a critical way, but saddening emotionally.
  16. If I remember correctly, in the movie, the child A.I.'s, "Mother" found out she was pregnant and no longer wanted her deceased child's replacement A.I., so she discarded it in the garbage? Have I remembered correctly?
  17. Good question. I assume she will grow in the series, but I'm interested in hearing the scientists' explanation for Piper's growth and how it is achieved from a purely scientific explanation,
  18. Izabella, that supposition was examined in the series "Humans" and the existence of a child A.I. drew the ire of actual humans who thought a child A.I. was an abomination or an insult. We view our children differently than regular humans. Child vampires are considered abhorent as if there was such a thing. I would imagine a child A.I. would be unsettling. Jo, despite her maternal instincts, underwent a tremendous internal struggle when deciding whether she wanted to truly foster Piper. I'm torn whether she should have made that decision without informing the other adults in the situation with her. Dad and Ex-husband should be made aware. I don't think it's right for Jo to make this decision unilaterally. However, bringing them in could potentially upset an already delicate situation.
  19. Episode 4 was hilarious. The timing for each character was spot on. The best part was the return of Mark and his interaction with Louisa (the one that got away) and Joe Penhale. Two idiots trying to work a case. Each trying to outdo the other. The blind leading the blind. I laughed when Al, after Ruth learned that the pub owner, Ken, was selling the pub, said' "Ruth" and immediately she said, "No!". Al said I didn't even get to say anything and Ruth deadpanned, "I could see where this was going". Ha! The hilarity of the Assessor for Martin's GMC review bungling his own test subjects Real illness. Mrs. Tishell, upon hearing of the Doc's review rushed over and snatched the questions out of the reviewers hand and revealed the contents to her beloved Doc. Classic Mrs. Tishell. Oh, this episode was so much fun and it will be a sad day when the finale airs and the franchise closes up shop. Oh, I had to look up the reference to the title of the previous episode (#3). It was titled: "S.W.A.L.K." which is the acronym for the saying, "Sealed With A Loving Kiss"
  20. Every imaginative manifestation of an artificial life form is different much like Vampires have different abilities according to the needs of the story. Who knew Vampires could sparkle or that Robots can appear human (sans green eyes). Just looking at Androids on television; "Supergirl" has Brainiac, who in that manifestation is a somewhat benign romantic with stilted speech and contrast him alone with the Brainiac of "Krypton", a psychotic murderer with excellent diction. If in the future, man decides to grow clones as body parts for humans, do we condemn that practice or do we look at it as survival of the human race. If Robots are meant to aid or replace us, they need to become more human than Robbie the Robot.
  21. Just throwing it out there but perhaps you were focusing on Patrick Jane and not Rigsby. Just like most of my focus wasn't on Lisbon but on the very beautiful Grace Van Pelt.
  22. So, we're going with "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" or in modern terms, "Blade Runner". I vote let Piper find out on her own, if ever. Let the little girl have her dream family. Keep them all together and hopefully, Emily can stay alive. I can't see them killing Owain Yeoman (the reporter) Rigsby is probably their most well known cast member after Terry O'Quinn, who always plays a weirdo and maybe Clancy Brown, another weirdo. The "Robot Town" wasn't creepy to me. It was just an empty town. It would have been creepy if they had a bunch of blanks walking around and pretending to be real people. The hard part for me is that logically, the people who are telling the sheriff to give up the kid are right. Piper, despite looking like a harmless little kid can totally wreck her family if she were to get pissed at them. However, we all know "love" will persevere, and Piper will never harm them, or so we hope.
  23. Kryptonite scissors? Nothing so elaborate; traditionally, all haircuts for Kryptonians on Earth are done with their own heat vision bounced off of a mirror to trim their hair. Although, bangs are tricky. I hate the deception by Lena, as I think the whole drama is unnecessary BS. Kara opened her heart to Lena when she apologized and Lena appeared to understand. I thought she did understand when she declined to send the identity revelation to the new owner of Catco. For the writers to then have Lena betray her best friend is seriously F'ed up.
  24. I also enjoyed John/Aeryn relationship's natural progression except for the "Twin" situatiion and the complexities his whole death. I too would place them at the top of any Syfy Power Couple list. My next couple is almost as fascinating to watch and that is the John/Delenn relationship in "Babylon 5". Enjoy your rewatch. I recently did a partial rewatch and stopped when I got to the episode where John got "Twiined".
