  1. I feel like I'm losing precious brain cells watching this. Sierra can't figure out how to use a spatula? Hilarity ensues.
  2. I wonder what the parameters are for Breaking News. Way too broad, I guess. Paul Ryan? I was badly amazed to hear Larry King interviewed by I'm not sure who. I think it was The Place for Politics around 4 this afternoon. First, what the f is he doing on MSNBC? And why does the interviewer feel the need to almost breathlessly ask him if Trump sounded tired or anything when they conversed 2 weeks ago? It was awful. Larry King.
  3. He had me 'til: "If Bethenny is the good version of unfiltered,..." At least he said "if".
  4. I assumed that the "real people" caveat is to pretend that these "real people" would actually endorse the product without being paid. Or that they offered to endorse without being approached by production. Yeah, right. Seems bogus to me.
  5. Looks like a Survivor challenge! How old are these poor little souls?
  6. My people! The directionally challenged. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've had to say, My other right. And when I am lucky enough to find my way into a new neighborhood on the first try I will, with unerring frequency, turn the absolute wrong ways getting back out. So aggravating. Love the painting JT! It reminds of beautiful fall sunset afterglows I've seen over the Gulf of Mexico.
  7. I drink lots of water throughout every day and I feel like my life is similar to your dream! With the important exception that I am always able to find relief/release and am good to (not) go for a while. Thank goodness. I remember my mom once remarking, You water drinkers, either you're looking for water or you're looking for a bathroom!Had never heard of seeing numbers in color. I am able to read upside-down text and always assumed everyone could. Nope.
  8. Love the quotation marks around "corporate America". Twenty years! When did disciple become a verb? At least that rather startling Boob shot was in monitor-frame with GeeGolly's mention of the the word vasectomy. edit to fix code and remove a couple few exclamation points.
  9. But what irony should Sierra get a show and the Duggars get canceled but then show up once in a while on Sierra's show. Boob's head might explode. I'd watch that!
  10. I'm assuming that some Subaru parts are imported from Japan, via container, to the Indiana plant for use in their production. I think that there is a lively enough market for the metals to be sold here. But I read one place that they ship the styrofoam packing stuff back to Japan where it's reused to package parts being sent back to the Indiana plant. And my understanding is that Japan's recycling so surpasses what we do here that perhaps they can better recycle those things they don't reuse? And if that container is going back and forth anyway they might as well put something in it that can be better utilized at the other end. All I got. I'm going to have to pay more attention to their commercial.
  11. My husband just retired from a job that had him out of the house for two weeks and then home for two weeks. Now he's home every. single. day. Practically every hour of every. single. day. I think my head is going to explode. Calgon take me (or him) away. I miss my super quiet home alone time. Enjoy yours!
  12. Wow. Why even bother with continuing education? Those degrees had to cost. A lot.
  13. Bold mine. Sounds fishy to me. My first thought was that they fired his ass (misogyny) and he's not talented enough to go it alone.
  14. I'm pretty sure I heard Al Sharpton interview Anthony Weiner this morning. About Hillary! Anthony Weiner! I don't think that's an endorsement she's been waiting for.
  15. I can't find a Get Smart reference but is this the guy?
  16. I used to have quite vivid dreams of driving off a cliff but having the plummet stopped by landing on a branch in a tree. I remember an old superstition (?) that declares you always wake before you "land" because the shock of seeing yourself die would kill you! The running through gravy and the unable to scream ones have also moved out of my head. Thank goodness. Paging Doctor Freud...
  17. And let's not forget his unfortunate (read: dangerous) spot of piloting bother that he had misjudging and flying into a storm. I'm surprised Code Enforcement hasn't visited that house of cards that they survived building. If for no other reason than to at least appraise for a tax increase.
  18. I've not ever heard that expression, and this? Perfect for Betthhenny. Honey, do we have a fire extinguisher?
  19. I used to wonder if that little dog could even walk! And that is one of the cutest darned little clips I've ever seen. Actually a day brightener. Thanks! Heck, Lisa and Ken could stay home and send Giggy.
  20. Maybe I'm over reacting but the pix of her sitting on bicycle handlebars holding the little dog with one hand whilst whatshisname peddles them through busy NYC traffic looks, to me, like an accident waiting to happen. Plus those little guys can get squirmy. Usually I'm either neutral or I kind of like Carol but those shots made me wince. As did the rent-a-dog scenario.
  21. I almost forgot about this little shit. At least his case is being moved to adult court but it looks like the only chance for anything approaching justice to happen will be if he breaks his probation. "Couch had been serving a sentence of 10 years' probation for the deadly crash. And The Associated Press reports that now, "if he violates his probation during that time, he could get up to 10 years in prison for each of the four people killed in the accident." The Dallas Morning News adds that Couch's lawyer did not contest Friday's ruling, saying "he felt that his client has been treated fairly up to this point." Fingers crossed. And mom's going to be charged. "His mother was "charged with hindering apprehension of a criminal, a felony that carries two to 10 years in prison," the Dallas Morning News reported. "She posted bond but remains under house arrest at the home of another son in Fort Worth." How many very special snowflakes did she have?
  22. And I have to wonder what the fallout will be after the elections. That's the only reasn I'm putting up with this crap. I'm hoping that their core viewership will drop. And I hope no one has the balls to decry and blame the Liberal Media for anything! If there ever was a liberal bent to the news it is now gone.
  23. Maybe CNN saw what all-Trump-all-day coverage has done to improve MSNBC ratings and has decided to join the race to the journalism bottom. They've become no better than tabloids. imho
  24. And then it bugged me!Hard to find one article the covers all issues but here's a snippet of Bloomberg's take: "This is not about recycling, or a nice marketing to-do," says Dean Schroeder, a management professor at Valparaiso University who has studied the plant. "This is a strict dollars-and-cents, moneymaking-and-savings calculation that also drives better safety and quality." "Today, the plant abounds with boxes and containers scribbled over with marks that show how many times they have traveled from Japan to Indiana and back (and back again). On a tour of the plant, Easterday sped a golf cart past a welder whose metal shavings are swept off the asphalt floors and auctioned into a roaring bull market for copper." And an ABC overview. Glad they're finally doing better with their mpg. I never understood how a company so intent on being green couldn't figure that out. Looks like it's all about the $$$$$. LOVE their dog commercials. And I think the first time I saw one was kind of a, Say What?, moment.
