  1. Agree. I have been recording the shows, find myself looking forward to the commercials for a break, and checking to see how much time until the show is over. I can’t stand any scene with Ericka and the way they cater to her. I’m out for next season if she is back and they continue to be afraid of her.
  2. Almost everyone shows up in modest attire for the Chinese New Year. Ericka wears an awful red animal print dress cut up to her thigh. Rinna wears a catsuit cut down to her navel.
  3. Did you see Kim’s new look in the video? I would not recognize her!
  4. I loved those commercials, too! He was so great in them. Sad he is leaving.
  5. I had a difficult time staying with this episode. TooMuchEricka and all the fawning over her. It makes me sick. I just want to look away. Don’t understand the hold she has over them. She is not a caring person at all. Stay away, Sutton! Oh, and Kyle shading Sutton for being quiet. 😡😡. Awful and hateful.
  6. Enjoying the conversation here. My husband and I are both 1960’s-70’s kids, so we enjoyed Version 1. But we also watched reruns with our kids (born late 80’s and early 90’s) and they still laughed and I think probably related to Kevin as he was a boy and closer to their ages at the time. Our favorite lines: Kevin: “Dad what do you do at work?” Dad: “I shovel other people’s crap so you can eat!” 😂 I see this version as, obviously, the 1960’s-70’s from a black family’s perspective, but also, just history. IF younger people are watching, they will see (as our kids did) the similarities in how people feel, but they will also learn more about the history of those times. I was 11 and at a 4-H Club meeting in my mostly white, rural Wisconsin town when I heard about MLK’s death. Close enough to Madison and the University to be aware of war protests. We went home and watched the news the rest of the night. It was shocking and scary to me in my little bubble. But nowhere near what the black community felt. I look forward to seeing how this series handles these issues.
  7. This is what I wonder. Where would they have sat if not with Sutton? I see both sides — Sutton bought a table — but where was Lisa going to sit, if not for this invitation by Sutton? And a thank you was definitely in order! Lisa attempting a Mylie Cyrus moment with the tongue sticking out. 😩
  8. @blixie, you cracked me up when I read this today! 😂😂😂. “Circular bitchery” perfectly explains it! And those creepy doll head wreaths! 😂😂😳😳
  9. I agree with both you and @BusyOctober about memory care, and was wondering the same thing about the quality of the facility E’s grandma was in. My mom also died from Alzheimer’s and was in a lovely facility with caring people. Ericka acted like all these memory care centers are something out of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
  10. Kathy being surprised that no one wanted to extend the evening by coming up to their suite for coffee or tea. lol. They were probably sick of being together (working) by that time! I also noted that Kathy, despite wanting everything to go smoothly, started up the merry-go-round of arguing again at dinner.
  11. I missed which house they chose. Can someone tell me? I could not tell from the ending. Was it #3? Figured it must not have been the one that was located farther away. Yeah, it seemed that the daughter was going to get the “main” bedroom with en-suite bath — because they promised her since she’d miss her senior year in high school back home. Wow — nice for her! And those bathrooms were big! I get it but I also shake my head, having shared a bathroom with 9 others growing up, and somehow survived.
  12. Yeah, house3 was my favorite. Interesting that they were moving from OR to OK. The friends in OK did not have Oklahoma accents.
  13. Pasties are also common in the southwest area of Wisconsin or at least in Mineral Point, where my dad was raised. Evidently early Cornish settlers were miners and took pasties with them for lunch. As for popcorn salad, I grew up in WI, now live in MN and have never heard of it! 😁
  14. Love the “in memoriam” music, but please just focus on those lost and not the musician(s). Sometimes difficult to see the photos of those who have died when the musician is part of the scene.
  15. Eh, I didn’t like him that much in The Crown. Perhaps because he was Charles?! lol. I had a hard time seeing him as Charles. YMMV.
  16. Saw her interviewed on E! Am not familiar with the show, but she is very pretty, and I love her outfit. Sorry if that is shallow, as I have not seen the show.
  17. Yeah, we don’t “know” him, but this may be his only chance. I didn’t mind it as he was very sincere.
  18. I could only find articles from 2014. Thought maybe she had changed? Can you provide more info?
  19. Nice to see recognition for Jason Sudeikis. Always enjoyed him on SNL.
  20. Maybe because Parade Magazine did an article about people who have never won an Emmy, but I thought that skit was funny!
  21. Loved her since “Designing Women!” I think her husband was on that show, too — maybe where they met? Such a nice tribute to him. ❤️
  22. Gillian looks great! I didn’t care for her performance as The Iron Lady. But not a huge fan of the Diana performance, either. Both probably difficult to portray.
