Haven’t been watching regularly this season, but reading here occasionally. I was so uncomfortable watching Jen and her husband at the dinner. He seems socially awkward and I wonder if she drank so much because she was nervous about the evening. She also seemed to speak negatively about him and to him.

Watching that replay of Tara’s reaction winning the Gold bring backs memories. Not pleasant ones. I thought she was way Over The Top back then and I still do. I know, she was just a kid, but she jumped up and down like a 4-year-old. I also like hearing Tanith’s commentary for ice dance.

There were two blonde women hosts; don’t know their names but one is British. I appreciated the fact that they did not (or weren’t told to) dress in tight or low cut clothing as we see at many U.S. sports events. They looked professional and their clothes did not detract from their job — just like male hosts clothes don’t detract from their job. Imagine that!!!

I just started watching it. Why is one course slower than the other? I even heard the announcer refer to the red course as the “slower” course.

Caught that. It is pretty cool that Ryan Cochran-Something won Silver. His mom, Barbara Cochran won Gold in skiing 50 years ago! I’m old enough that her name is familiar. Back to skating on NBC. Thanks for the info about the app and/ or Peacock (which I don’t have), but I appreciate you letting me know.

I happened to catch an interview with her after the race and then watched part of it later. Deedra Irwin, of little Pulaski, Wisconsin (my home state!) came in 7th in the Biathlon. Best finish by a US athlete ever in this event. Pretty cool.
