  1. The bone breaker guy's love and respect for his girlfriend made me have something in my eye.
  2. And it's fabulous. Everyone should watch this show if you have Hulu.
  3. I cannot tell a lie, the one reason i am hoping the show doesn't get picked up this year is that we will miss the featured storyline about Vickie's Triumphant Return.
  4. So i need to rewatch episode 1, but were the steps Kirby was playing on as a child the steps of THE house?
  5. Just finished binging both seasons and I am annoyed with myself for spending so much time on this show. The kids were great but the whole experiment story is so ridiculous that it just made me angry.
  6. I am sorry that daya is getting death threats, that is ridiculous and uncalled for. But I still find her loathsome. Same as with Candy Muse, you can throw shit out and behave terribly but cannot take an iota of shade thrown back at you. I really dislike both of them. So I am #teamanyonebutdaya to win. Love Angeria but she doesn't bring anything new to the table. The other 3 are fresh and just more interesting.
  7. I just discovered Pluto so I am reliving the old seasons. So many cringe moments, including making Megan Flaherty do an oral book report on the Jackie O book, the "carbonation causes cellulite" lady going to Nicole Bulcher's house and shaming her over items in her refrigerator, all the body fat percentage measuring and shaming, things like "bikini boot camp" just to pander to pervy Jerry Jones wannabes watching at home, Kelli's disgust over one girl's gums at the cameo shoot, Kelli & Charlotte making fun of girls who don't have HD faces, and perhaps the cringiest of all (to me at least) the "touch the star" from Charlotte.
  8. https://www.instagram.com/p/CW4oNTMMSDw/ Hannah at the point - where she belongs. :)
  9. Episode 3 made me sob even more than usual. The mayor! Esael coming out the day of the show! The families with huge grins on their faces watching them. I love this show so so much.
  10. Looks like Vanity Fair magazine agrees with us on the gimmicky showstoppers. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2021/10/please-stop-the-great-british-baking-show-from-becoming-the-great-british-science-fair
  11. This was one of the best things I've seen on television in a long time. I binged it in two days and have thought about it every day since. I am fortunate to have a boring, supportive, non-toxic extended family, and I keep coming back to the fact she had no support system in her life. When she finally asked her dad to help her and he couldn't it was devastating. Just excellent writing and acting all around. Such great nuanced portrayals of flawed people. Sean was definitely abusive but he wasn't 100% evil all the time. Her mom was a huge narcissist and toxic but had loving moments. Very real.
